Could give the one with the highest school the Elite slot. Or champion. Or, can have extra gyms so that even us leaders can challenge the gyms. Up to you.

I just wish there was a Dark Legendary so I could use one. But the only Dark Legendary is an uber. gonk If I was the fire gym, which I could be, I'd train an Entei. Yes, it is possible, yet a slim chance.
Come on don't make me compete for the type I love so much.

Alright we have a few more contenders. I will be adding all the names of the participants into the tourny thread so be sure to check it out. Kyrenx, do you think you can help me with the thread? I can't run it alone razz
I'll see what I can do, but I'm leaving most of the work to you. xd

Just to make things a little different than most guilds, I am adding an addition to the Gym Leader aspect. Note how Volkner (the last Gym Leader) carried some non Electric types? Well I am now letting you up to two Pokemon that aren't of the element you've desired to lead. 1 preferably, but 2 is maximum. That way, the matches should be more interesting and harder to beat. That way people can't just hammer at you with the type you are weak to. Sounds fair?

Thinking back on this idea you had Koishii, perhaps there should be a means to further restrict which pokemon a gym leader can choose as their non-matching elemental type. Looking back at the Volkner example, even though he had 2 non-electric pokemon, those two pokemon did infact have electric moves. Obviously this restricts very little in my opinion, but perhaps we should think about a fair way to restrict what each type can choose what. Perhaps overall "team themes" should be further explored as an option? xd

Also, are the gym leaders going to be restricted to a set number of pokemon they may use beyond their elemental type? Or are we leaving the max team number to challengers only?

Hmm... I am afraid I don't quite follow. Challengers may use any team they want, and doesn't have to be a specific element so this rule does not really apply to them. Gym Leaders however should stay within the limit.

Hmm, I was on the impression that the challengers would have to register a set number of pokemon before they challenged the gyms as a means to keeps things fair. Oh and looking at the tournament roster, aren't you going to join in as well Koishii?

Hmm... did you want me to join in? If I were to join in I would probably run an Ice gym. Though lately, I am sucking at battling xD.

Lol. Hmm... if I do decide to participate I will test out an ice team on Shoddy that way I can decide whether or not I should breed for the team. I lack good Dittos though <_<

Yeah...your right...but having the chance to use my favorite type I rather not compete for it.

I'm just a little suprize I'm the only one going for Dark type. Only one other person in all the guilds I'm in wants to be a Dark leader, and he sucks. Last time I fought him, I wiped him out using only my Spiritomb.
