Once contracted by ShinRa to summon a demon to keep an eye on and control Valentino's violent tendencies. His new pet, Sian was not nearly so controllable as expected. Unless it was Amrit's intention to give him a loose rein. Regardless, it did not end well.

'Shino' is a feminine Japanese name that can refer to the color violet, which is the color of his hair. It should also be noted that 'shi' can also be used as the number four, an unlucky pronunciation because it also refers to death.

-[ Abilities ]-
Was in a boy's choir as a child and still retains that angelic singing voice.
Control over the blood of those whom he has fed. If they were slain in the process, he has the ability to control their bodies like zombies or puppets, by willing the blood in their veins to move and do his bidding. For those who remain alive (or undead) after his bite or feeding, they may feel charmed, desire to assist, fawn over, or generally be nice to him, even if they normally dislike him. All of these effects wear off after he lays down for the day, because his body digests and assimilates his food, thus severing their bond. Any animated corpse should fall where it stands, those under his "spell" will return to normal. There are exceptions of course...

Shino generally carries himself with an air of flippant fearlessness. He is a quick thinker and equally agile on his feet. When it suits his purpose, he can masterfully brandish like a weapon the large-eyed innocence that adorable children are well-known for. He can be equally sly and seductive, which will unnerve most unless their sexual cravings lean toward blossoming youth.

-[ Likes ]-
Singing when no one else is around to hear. Blood, violence and wild sex, or any combination of the these. He will try just about anything at least once, especially if it contrary to social norms, would annoy Shido, and/or defy authority or law.

-[ Dislikes ]-
Authority and rules (or maybe secretly he wants to be controlled?), dismemberment (of himself).

-[ Hidden Self ]-
Though he has had more than a century to psychologically mature, Shino is in many ways still stuck as a child. Many aspects of the world are viewed as black-and-white, and any attention is sought after as opposed to being ignored or isolated. This is why he often treats those closest to him with anger and spite, seeks their disapproval, and defies all sources of authority. This is of course rather ironic because one of his greatest fears is to be left alone or shunned by those he loves.

-[ History ]-
Shino became a vampire while still very young, around the age of 13. As such he is physically undeveloped (possibly incapable of carrying a baby?), has a high boyish voice, and a particularly childish view of the world.

When Shido lost his family shortly after being turned, Shino wondered why he had not been included. Why had he turned his sister (who soon after committed suicide), but not his cousin? Even slaying him like he had his own mother in a mindless rage of bloodlust would have been preferable to being left behind. He had always looked up to Shido like an elder brother, and in every memory he has of him from their childhood they were as the best of friends. How then could he understand that because of what happened to his immediate family, Shido had sought to put everything behind him and spare the rest of his family from further suffering?

It was a shock to the elder vampire decades later to find that his cousin had been turned anyway. Had his old master turned them both? No...

Unlike his cousin Shido, his fountainhead lies not with Cain but with another, ancient vampire. (He is an OC and will remain nameless unless I actually make him into an anthro.) As previously suggested, this bloodline have peculiar abilities to control blood. It is an inclination that often forces Shino to kill his victims rather than have an army of puppies following him around. It could also be extremely dangerous for one like Shino, whose hold over a person's mind lasts only one night. Any sudden uncharacteristic behavior could raise suspicion. As such, while Shido has a strong aversion to murder, Shino is forced to live this way, and as a result often elects to feed away from others, even though willing donors are available back home. He also must dispose of any "zombie" minions, often by instructing them to bury themselves in the earth, before he rests for the day lest they fall apart and betray his presence nearby.

Arrived at the Nullspace (a pet trade).

It is assumed that his name comes from the way he likes to look out the window at the moon. Possibly from his monochromatic markings, the way they remind one vaguely and abstractly of cheese in color and spottiness.

-[ Abilities ]-
Unknown. Moony by all appearances is rather drab and unnoticeable. If he has any remarkable traits, they have yet to manifest or at the very least he keeps them hidden away.

-[ Attitude ]-
Quiet and (at least visibly) even-tempered, it is difficult to tell whether Moony's day has been good, bad, or simply uneventful. No personality traits indicate the same of his past: he carries no specific grudges (that anyone knows of), and nothing worse than the mild naivete found in most youths.

Moony was originally taken in by Kayleigh-chan, a staff member at the Anthropomorphs shop. However, due to the ... atmosphere ... her boys tend to arouse, she decided the boy needed a home better suited to his needs. Strange that he would choose Mel's Pocket to come home to, but no one's complaining... whether they like the boy, don't care, or Mel threatened them with bodily/mental harm for giving him a bad time. Be nice, or make scarce. Yay.

Most immediately, Moony was drawn to the likes of Nightshade, Keahi, Carlos, and Jimi because they were featured in crayon drawing that Mel showed him as a child. Regarding Nightshade, he always distant but curious about the demon. He grew up closely with the likes of Keahi and Carlos because they were more or less the same age. Over time, it became obvious (at least to Jimi) that he would feel more at home taken in by other unicorns, and so offered to adopt him. Ever since he's been at the very least a sort of sponsor for him, and Moony always knows that Jimi's family is the same as his own. This has been a great sense of security for him growing up, but he's also picked up some less savory habits as a result.
