Well, while I like J-Pop and J-Rock, I sold my soul to Rock 'n' Roll a long time ago.
Nothing gets me going like hearing Hendrix or the Stones, or Linkin Park and Metallica (pre-Black album), and many, many others.

Well, I have figured out who Nightwish are, and I very impressed with their music. I really like their song, "NEMO", so I want to hear more of their cd.

Since I just realized I never "really" posted in here.. Takako no Kaori Takako is the resident shameless J-rock fangirl. cool I'm second then. :3 Dir en Grey, Miyavi, hide, Psycho le Cemu, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Kagrra, Inugami Circus-Dan, Vidoll I've only heard one song and a coupla short song samples. But, they're all good. Also their visual-ness = <3, and X-Japan.

Anybody know of any good easy listening music? With some nice acoustic guitar in it or something? Something akin to most of Scapegoat Wax's music, if you're familiar with them.

If you don't mind a real laid back groove with a little bit of funk, I'd reccomend the second album from the Fun Lovin Criminals. Its called 100% Columbian. No acoustic guitar, but the standup bass kicks a**.

Now, I've been listening to a lot of Frank Sinatra, Frou Frou, Scapegoat Wax (more than usual), Eyedea, and Streetlight Manifesto.
Stream, I'm pretty sure you like ska, and if you haven't heard Streetlight Manifesto before you should check them out. I don't like their vocalist as much as I like Less Than Jake's vocalist, and as far as lyrics goes I'd say it's a tie. I like the fact that a lot of Streetlight Manifesto's songs are pretty fast.
