Patent Dragon Shangrii-La Patent Dragon Shangrii-La @ogs the drums that donna hears, possibly the ring that she's wearing. Donna seems very Timelord-y. Weird things happen around her and the doctor has a connection with her. Seemed more like a heartbeat to me, but I DID hear the "Drums" in the intro to the subwave network... And just when I was thinking "why don't UNIT wheel out some Sontaran technology" - what do they do? "Project Indigo"... Nice. yes but what's the point of having a random heartbeat? that was done deliberately, so it should mean something drums drums drums~ A random heartbeat? Hardly - there was a certain echo to it. Listen closely, just before the servant offers the water, breaking Donna's "train of thought"... two heartbeats, perhaps? *GASP*!!!! Dont say that, that makes me even super more squeemish for wanting the new episode!! I kept thinking Donna was a... was a.... *flails* Normally I'm not this fangirlish but, seriously! D:> How cool is that?!

EhmiEhmi the ood ooh I just found a theory that I really really like concerning the TARDIS and Donna Noble Quote: The TARDIS sacrafices itself, and in some way, Donna saves it by fusing herself with the heart, becoming the new TARDIS heart. Support for this theory being that she's mentioned many times that she " wants to travel with the Doctor forever." What better way? Also, in the BBC trailer for Journey's End, she's seen alone in the TARDIS, it being on fire and in danger. The fortune teller in Turn Left, in fear, asked her, "What will you become?" In The Stolen Earth, the lady at the Shadow Proclamation building said, " I'm sorry for your loss," a possible loss of humanity or freedom. This would justify the phrase "'everlasting' death for the companion" by Dalek Cann. As well, it is similar to the pre-release speculations surrounding Astrid, suggesting that her character was, in fact, the heart of the TARDIS I don't know why but I like the idea. Oh, yeah, I kinda like that. I mean, I don't want Donna to die at all, but if she has to, that'd be a sweet way to do it! Yeah Donna is so cool D: Those are some really really good theories, but I'm sticking with my 'Donna is a timelord' theory. I want to believe it. :3

I would just like to point a few things out.
Rose. Did. Not. Cross. Between. The. Two. Universes. For. Selfish. Reasons.
Did nobody pay attention to the things she was saying in turn left?
She knows that a great darkness is coming, SHE says that the universes are colliding. SHE sent to warning to the Doctor about what is coming.
She herself can't do anything about it.
She needs the Doctor to be able to do anything about it.
Jesus Christ it annoys me that people seem to think that all she wants to do is be with the Doctor. Sure, she may want to be with him but she has to put other things first.
Which she has done.
Sorry, I'm just annoyed.

Upon re-watching, I could have sworn I heard two heartbeats, as well. Just barely, but it was there.

There practically was no such thing as a Timelord. Timelord's were a thing of folk lore and fairy tales. I seem to remember the Doctor saying that Timelord's could once just pop over to different dimensions. They wouldn't have risked it if there was another Gallifrey on the other side. There is only one Doctor. Plus, their universes are connected- the walls between them are there but not as strong as all the rest.

She did all that in Left Turn. If that's all she wanted and she was done, then she wouldn't need to be here now. He was warned at the end of Left Turn and Donna was saved. This episode, it WAS a good thing she was there as she shot some daleks at opportune times. However, she was also simply and only looking for the Doctor and she said so more than once. "Doctor, it's me, I've come back" "Doctor, I've come all this way to see you" etc.
The question isn't whether or not she needed the doctor to fix anything. Or if she had to warn him to get it fixed. the question is WHY are the universes colliding? why did she know about it first? And you WOULD think that Rose would learn after School Reunion. YOu'd also think that the Father's Day episode would have taught her something... *shrug*
...or you wouldn't have come here.

ok ive had a thought...about the key that Martha has....when the Doctor and Donna are about to leave the shadow Proclemation, the Doctor says to the woman...'ill just go get your key'....and Harriet Jones quite firmly said the key was not to be used under any circumstances...so what's with the key?
