Strafe walked in the grounds looking for a place to practice his kido He needed to get better at it for future battles as a new member of squad 8. He walked to a section of targets that were not being used. He decided to go ahead and start with Byakurai. He took a steady breath to focus in on the target. He then suddenly yelled "Hado 4, Byakurai!" Which sent a nice blast of reiatsu from his finger hiting right between the eyes of the target.
"Awesome!" He said as he smiled thinking of another Kido to practice. He needed to do training so he could rise through the ranks of his squad, but first he had to make sure he didn't embarress himself. His knack for kido could only get him so far in the ranks. Hard work had to do the rest. While Hado spells were easier to come to him, He needed to learn Bakudo spells as well.

Strafe decided it was time to try and combine to easy Kido, so that maybe he could use it in combat. He steadied himself and walked over to a target standing a few feet away from it. He turned to i focused and lifted his finger. He gave a calm sigh and wispered "Hado 1, Sho." He then smiled as the burst of reiatsu came from his finger pushing the target towards another target.
"Time for phase 2" He said jumping to where he was parallel to it right as it was nearing the other target. He focused his eyes and lifted his finger yelling "Hado 4, Byakurai!." The shot hit the first target right as it was in front of the other. His plan was to put enough reiatsu into it that it would go through the target and hit the other. He smilied as it succeded and hit the target behind sending it to the ground.
"That was pretty good." He said walking over and observeing his work. He really was geting good with his spells. He smiled as he came to the conclusion that he needed to learn new spells. He thought immediately of his captain and decided to ask. He walked out of the grounds smiling and feeling accomplished.

Sarina found three targets side by side, and walked over to them slowly. "Okay, lets see how good I can do this..." She said to herself breathing carefully before bringer her palm up. "Find it... Find that spot... Just find that perfect concentration... Find... your Alar..." She hadn't known what the word was, but it came from deep within her mind. Finding a place of pure concentration she placed the kidou of Byakurai into her mind, and raised her left index finger with her right palm. In a completely different part of her mind she placed the kidou of Thrust into her mind.
Speaking to herself in a low voice she called out two things almost at the same time, but distinctly separate. "Byakurai, Thrust..." A blast of energy lightly pushed two of the targets back, and a blast of unstable reiatsu struck the third target and exploded. This left a singe mark on one target, and misplaced the other two. Left standing there however was a shocked, and confused girl who had no idea what had just happened.
