Drake stumbled over his words as he told Cliff of the general situation. He was breathing heavily and quickly form the long run so it was difficult for him to explain things.
Cliff nodded and listened intently to the whole thing then calmly said, "Bring her with me."
He walked briskly to a room adjacent to the comfortable living room they had been standing in. He stepped up to a beautiful wooden table and swiped everythgin off of it into the floor, papers, pencils, and dishes clattering to the floor.
"Put her there, I'll be back in a moment." He ordered as he left the room and came back a few moments later.
He had a neat little plastic box in his hand and he set it down next to Holly.
"And you said that she was shaking a few minutes ago, but stopped?" He asked Drake seriously as he put his fingers to her neck for a pulse.
"Yes, because before we set off she was still moving, but now she seems to be motionless. Alex, here was the one who was carrying her the way here." Drake said, composing himself and sounding professional.
"That's not good, that means that her bady might be shutting down. We don't have much time, if any at all." Cliff said as he pulled out a syringe from his box and filled it with a clear liquid from a small bottle.
He took Holly's arm and injected it into the vein in her arm carefully, and almost immediately she started to breath quickly and thrash slightly.
"Hold her down, please." He ordered Rei as he returned to his box for consultation.
"What did you give her?" Drake asked, his voice barely giving way to his fright.
"Only an extra boost of adrenaline to keep her heart going. If we can keep that going for now we migt be able to get the rest of her organs going again." He explained as he went to the head of the tbale were her head lay and touched her temples.
He closed his eyes for a moment and rubbed lightly then left and mumbled to himself, "Her mind is still holding on, but just barely. We might be able to get her to help us."
He got a cloth and wiped the blood and sweat from her face then said to Alex, "Get me a large bowl of water from my kitchen please, it's through that door."
He then went back to rubbing Holly's temples as he leaned over her face and whispered something in her ear.
Her body thrashed violently, but was contained by Rei holding her down (sorry for controlling you just then). She moaned loudly and more blood dripped from her mouth.
Cliff wiped the fresh blood away and whispered more, causing more reactions of the same extent.
He stood up straight then and looked the three in the faces as he dipped the cloth in the bowl of water Alex had brought, "Which one of you has class O blood type?"
"Not me, I'm A blood type." Drake shrugged, not fully understanding the meaning of the question because she was not bleeding severly.
"I didn't ask who didn't, I asked who did. Please speak up, she only has seconds to live if I do not try to do something now." Cliff said harshly, moving back to his box and pulling out defibrillator and charging it up.
((sorry for slightly using both of your characters for a moment, it was nessicary for the story line to go as planned. ^_^ W00t for my very small knowledge of medical issues.))

Rei raised his hand. "I'm an O type, they had to make me like that to try and keep me alive." He said as he then returned his hand to holding Holly down. "I don't know if this works in reverse, i don't know if you can feel our feelings as well, but if you can, you know we all want you to pull through... We need you here to help us, your the one who has the best connections here..." Rei thought as he looked at her, his eyes began to fill with worry. He hadn't known this girl for long, but he already felt that they were close friends, and to have a friend taken away so quickly, wouldn't be right.

((Changed post. I posted this earlier, but a few hours later I came back and changed some stuff in it.))
"Good, I'm going to need to hook your blood up to hers. She needs more blood to help get rid of the virus, to cleanse her body of the virus. It won't matter if the virus goes into your blood being that it was specifically designed for hers, so I'll need you to sit down next to her and put your arm out." Cliff said as he going out two IVs, putting one in Holly's arm and preparing to put the other in Rei's arm. He also had some other materials so that the blood could transferr smoothly and without complications.
Holly did infact feel the others' emotions and when the feelings of Rei washed over her she struggled against her body from shutting down. But despite the encouragement she got, still her body was quitting on her. She felt that her lungs and heart were about to give in so she caused another tremor to go through her body, the most violent yet. And with the tantrum the IV was ripped from her arm and at the same time the defibrulator beeped that it was charged.
As Drake watched his sister go through the pain and process of dying this way his abilities returned to him more and more. The thoughts of the others in the room gradually became clearer and easier to read, beside's Holly's. He slowly became more and more calm, composed and professional, as was his nature due to his mind abilities.
He stood in the corner and assesed and thought, trying to figure out ways to help, but came up with none. He was not needed for this.

Alekssander stood in the corner next to Drake, occassionally glancing over at him. His job was over, apparently. His blood type was not O, but Rei took care of that. All Alekssander could do now would be to wait and hope Holly would pull through.

Cliff sighed, glad the defibrillator was charged and put his fingers on Holly's neck. He cocked his eyebrow and felt again, more frantically. His eyes widened and he quickly put his ear to her chest. He came back up and shook his head as he ripped her shirt open just a little bit, enough to exspose a good area for the defibrillator.
The silence of the room was frightening and yet full; full of eager thoughts, worry, and the sounds of only four pounding hearts.
Cliff grabbed the defibrillator and said loudly, "Clear!"
He pushed the silver pads to her chest and her body gave a large convulsion.
He listened again for a heart beat but found none. He said in a more firm and determined voice, "Clear!" and pushed the pads to her chest, her body convulsing again.
This time her was sucessful in finding a faint heartbeat and he quickly put the IV in her arm and the other in Rei's. He hooked some other things to the IVs and they all watched with wide eyes and hopeful hearts as Rei's blood filled the tube and traveled into Holly's veins.
Slowly her once quick and irregular breathing calmed to a more natural pace and only then did Cliff give a sigh and slump into a chair next to the table.
"She should be fine now..." He sighed as he wipped his forehead with his clean white sleeve. "Just give her time to mix blood with Rei and then I'll try to take her off and possibly wake her to get some food in her."
Drake had been holding his breath the entire time, unknowlingly, and when he saw Cliff sigh and slump in the chair he two sighed and let his shoulders drop with relief.
"Are you sure she'll be okay?" He asked as he stepped forward.
"Yes...."Cliff paused and rubbed his temples, then looked gravely up at Drake, "So long as you don't touch her again. You'll spread the virus to her again and we'll have to go through this whole thing again, assuming you get to me in a time and that it works."
"Oh....Alright, I understand. I still have the virus, and will forever or untill someone finds out how to nuetralize it." Drake said slowly and solemnly.
"Correct....I'm sorry Drake." Cliff sympathized.
After a moment he stood slowly from his chair, pushed up his glasses and said, "Is anyone here hungry? I have a whole pot of soup, if you'd like some."

Rei nodded as he sat there and waited a bit. "I'd like some please, I haven't really had anything to eat in a while." He said smirking. "It's hard to hunt down decent game in the city and not get noticed." He laughed.

Cliff smiled at Rei, grateful for the laughter that attempted to lighten the mood darkend by death.
He left the room and went into the kitchen where some rattling of dishes could be heard and a few minutes later he came back with three bowls of soup.
He set one down on the table next to Rei and said, "Here you go, careful with the IV, wouldn't want that to get torn out."
He then went to Drake and handed him the bowl, "You should eat, it'd help."
He looked at Alex and said, "Would you like this bowl? I can get myself another."

Aleksander looked up at the one who had just saved Holly's life, apparently named Cliff. "Actually, I've been feeding off of all of the fear, anxiety, and tension that had been building up in here. It was quite delicious. It's one of my powers. But that only satisfies some. I'll be glad to have some." Alekssander took a glance at Holly, lying quietly, then back to Cliff. "How long until she's back on her feet?"

"Hard to say; a few hours to a few days. Depends on her strength levels. Why? Do you have to be somewhere?" Cliff said as he walked back into the kitchen and got himself his own bowl of soup and came back into the dining room.
Drake stared kowingly at them all over his bowl as he ate quietly; their thoughts coming at him quietly. He enjoied the knowledge he was gaining without an effort. It was pleasing, but intrusive, but he still loved it.
Holly's mind was struggling to repair its self, gather up all the scattered pieces and muster up the strength to awaken. She reached out to Drake and sent him a thought.
"They're being patient enough." Drake said aloud as he shrugged, then realised her voice wasn't coming from her speaking.
"What, Drake?" Cliff asked curiously, then got an idea.
"Is she communicating with you?"
"Yes..."He mummbled.
"Ask her if she thinks she'll be awake soon." Cliff said cooly, as if it were an everyday thing to communicate mentally with someone unconscience.
When Drake had done so mentally he said alloud, "About an hour or so, she's unsure. Her thoughts are weak, she still needs to repair her mind and everything else. But she's exhausted, so going anywhere even if she does wake-up would be a bad idea."
"Alirght, sounds like she's in good enough heal considering the circumstances." Cliff nodded as his took a mouthful of food from his spoon.

Rei ate some of the soup that cliff had handed to him. "So, if we're going to be here a while, i think we'd best have someone on look out, or at least until it would be safe to move her." He said looking to her. "I mean, how hard would it be for them to find us again." He then stopped and turned to drake. "Tell me..." he started lowly. "Does the labs have anyway of tracking their soldiers... i mean, might they have thought that something like this would happen, and have a way to find us anyway?" He asked drake, a hint of panic entering his mind. "What if they can, what if their already here... just waiting... I can't let her get hurt anymore then she is..." Rei thought, unknowing that his thought was being broadcast to Drake and holly. Rei quickly finished his bowl and reached dropped his hands down on both sides of the chair he was sitting in, not making it seem that he was actually preparing to grab his daggers in a hurry. He felt a little weird being so skeptical, but this sorta thing seemed to happen to him a lot, not thinking that he'd be attacked, and then, BOOM, he was hurled into a fight.

Drake listened to Rei's panicked thoughts and cocked his eyebrow, "They might....If they could they would probablly put a tracking device in my unifrom, which I'm still wearing...Have any clothes I could borrow, Cliff?"
Drake had a feeling that Rei might like Holly, the way he was worrying about her safety, and that slightly bothered him. After all he was half an animal, he didn't deserve her.
"Yes, let me go get them." Cliff left the room for a moment and returned with a pair of jeans, boots, and white t-shirt.
"Here you go." He handed Draket he clothes.
"Thanks." He said with a faint smile then left the room to go get changed.
Holly moaned and twisted around for a moment and mumbled, "Oh, my head hurts..."
Cliff moved to Holly's side and touched her arm, "Do you need anything?"
"Maybe something to drink..." She croaked and Cliff shuffled off to get her some water.
Holly looked down at her arm and saw the tube connecting her to Rei. She smiled at him and tried to prop herself up on her elbows, "Hey, how're you feeling?"

Alekssander stood up immediately at the sound of Holly's voice. At once, he felt a sort of unnatural relief that Holly was okay. Nervously, and for no apparent reason, Alekssander started to finger the handle of his whip, as he moved closer to where Holly and Rei were. He stayed silent, knowing it was best not to say anything, but knowing that the others would pick up on his thoughts anyways.

Rei smiled slightly at holly. "I'm fine, how are you feeling? Any better?" He asked before noticing Alex's movements. He thought immediately of what he was doing. "Damn, for once, i hope i'm not right!" he thought quietly to himself. He kept his hand near the hilt of his dagger, and watched the door, calmly looking all over to see if anyone or anything was moving outside.

Holly sensed the great nervousness in everyone in the house but Cliff and moaned, laying back down on the table.
"Guys, I'm okay." She said hoarsly then coughed roughly, "That didn't count..."
She laughed in a pained sort of way then looked over at Alex and smiled at him then Rei, "Come on guys, you don't even know me that well. What, have we known eachother for even twenty-four hours, yet? I'm glad to know you guys care."
Cliff and Drake came back at the same time.
Cliff went over to Holly and put his arm under her shoulders and lifted her up some, putting the cups to her lips carefully, "You should have seen them when you died." He chuckled to himself.
Holly spewed water for a moment, sputtering, "I died?! Are you serious?"
She then went back into a coughing fit, calming as she sipped on the water more.
"Only for a moment, then I got you back, no worries." Cliff coed, then set her back down, placing the cup next to her.
"I think you'll be okay without the blood connection, now. Thank-you Rei for participating, she wouldn't be here if it wasn't for your blood." He said as he carefully unhooked both of their IVs.
"No thanks to me, of course." Drake said sulkily as he leaned against the door-frame to the living-room.
"Hey, it wasn't your fault the stupid Scientists wanted me dead, Drake. I still love you." Holly smiled then looked to Rei with a humble expression on her face.
"But thanks, it really does mean a lot. Now I'll be able to continue helping you guys. Maybe we can go back to the house; I'm pretty sure they don't know about the underground part, and plus that would be the last place they'd expect us to go." She said as she touched Rei's arm.
