This is the outfit I wore to the London MCM expo this year, I was going for a dashing sky pirate look and was quite pleased overall, especially the raygun which was made of stuff I found around the house. The goggles are going back to the workbench though as they hurt like hell by the end of the day!  And in Colour;

Sir Regulus Lyonhart You have hair on your neck?! I give up. You win. >__< (If I continue, I will not only lose anyway, but look entirely pathetic.) Considering my gender typically isn't famed for it's hair growth, I'd say I would have lost anyway pirate Xtopher wins! And that's him! That's the dashing chap I met the other day.

This is me and my fiance about four hours ago... and my memory card went crazy so I only got one picture crying Ugh, and my mouth looks funny because I was going to say something... but without all the complaining, this is our Steampunk-ness

@Isinglass- Thanks, I made it... everything came out more than perfect
@Ambrose Closer- I found the parasol at a littl costume shop here in Arizona, but I would suggest halloween stores

Great outfits, everyone.
I'm sorry to say I don't own any piece of clothing that could remotely be considered steampunk, except for a pair of brown goggles.
I'd like to gradually start slipping more steam into my wardrobe, though. A pocket watch here, a shirt and vest there...

Well that puts all of my outfits(read my one outfit I wore to my local anime con this year) to shame. But... when my camera's batteries are recharged I'll grab a photo, still need to pick up that darn vest though. Although there aren't many shops that sell much I can mod into steampunk gear.

the way i want mine to end up looking is mostly blacks, browns, dark greens and grays with different splashes of color (red, orange, gold, or brass) mostly Asian inspired color, because of my characters back ground and such.

This was at the CA Steampunk convention in October. The only thing I don't like about this is you can't see the pants I was wearing and I had put my hair up so you can't see how long it is. sad
For some reason there is a great lack of pictures from this event.
