Layna shook her head slightly, and released her son, who jumped around on the bed with unstoppable energy. Layna laughed weakly, watching her son be happy. At least he had not ever been actually sad. She was still a good mother, even if she wasn't a good wife or mate... She pressed what had occurred to the back of her mind, shuddering for a moment, unsure once more of her surroundings.

He turned towards Kon,"Konstantin Silverthorn! You bring that poor creature in right now!" Razu then reached over and rubbed Layna's arm comfortably,"Hey Layna are you hungry?"

Layna snapped out of her tremor, and stared at Razu for a moment. "Hungry?" She repeated, thrown off by the sudden question. Her grey eyes cleared of their tears as she wiped her eyes repeatedly. "I...I guess...." She whispered, her voice falling into a rather submissive tone, unable to break the feeling of not being the way a normal female would be. She felt that her usual self was far away from her, so close to being gone, it felt nonexistent.

"Okay!" Kon said walking to the door to let her in. A moment Shenai walked in and sat next to Layna. " Layna this is Shenai." Kon said looking at Gabe," Hey Gabe this is Shenai but you can just say Nai if you want." Kon looked over at Razu and said," Razu if anyones cooking it's me! I can cook better than you!"

Layna blinked, and looked at the creature beside her with slight surprise. She brushed her fingers hesitantly through the feline's fur. A feeling of strange content spread through her. She could remember having a cat of some sort when she was small, still barely a pup. She pressed her face into the fur, unsure of anything around her. Gabriel squealed happily, continuing to bounce upon the bed, calling out the new name. "Nai Nai Nai!!"

Kon smiled at Gabe and smiled. He looked down at Layna and said," If ou like her she can stay with you for awhile." He looked at Layna. "It's just a suggestion." said Kon feeling very embarassed.

Layna let out a loud sigh, blinking her eyes as she sat up. "I'm...alright." she said quietly. She looked at Kon with a slight nod. "It's...been hard on me...the last few days." She whispered softly, the look in her eyes withdrawing as she went prone once more, shuddering at all the memories that assailed her.
Gabriel flopped on his mother's lap, looking at the cat with extreme interest.

"Go ahead Gabe. You can pet her.... I bet and I only know a little of what happened. You are a very strong person Layna. And a very good mother." Kon said with a look of sympathy.

Layna blinked and nodded. After a moment in silence, she felt her stomach grumble irritably. She looked at Kon with a rather pitiful expression on her face. "Umm....I hate to ask..."
Gabriel pressed his little hands into the large feline's fur, his grey eyes wide.

Kon laughed at Gabe. " What do you like to eat?" Kon asked,"I'm a descent cook... Better than Razu at least." Kon laughed at himslef. He could tell Razu was going to hit him soon.

"Really....I haven't had a cooked meal in ages, so anything." Layna said, her eyes having a childish glow to them at the prospect of a cooked meal. Gabriel squeaked, and glanced up at Kon before he tugged at the fur with his hands, wondering why the warm thing didn't move.

" Layna is it okay if Shenai plays back? She's really good she will just nudge him with her nose." Kon asked as he thought of what to cook her.

"Of course." She murmured, nodding. "He's a big Lycan, now isn't h?" She picked up her son and flipped him down upon his back, tickling him with her fingertips. "Little Lycan!" She said with a soft smile.

Kon nodded at Shenai and then walked in the kitchen. He started cooking Layna's meal, but he wanted to make enough for Gabe. He began to cook. Shenai placed a huge paw by Gabe and began to move her nose around Gabe's stomach. She growled a playful growl. She stuck out her huge tongue and licked the side of Gabe's face. Then she crawled over by Layna and licked her as well. A few moments later Kon approached with a steak, potatoes, and a salad for Layna and macaroni and cheese for Gabe. "Enjoy!" Kon said setting their meals down.

Layna blinked, her eyes wide as the panther licked her face. She was even more surprised when Kon placed the food in front of her. She was truly enticed and her hunger was an ache in her stomach. She picked up the fork, and began to eat gleefully at the warm food with eyes bright in delight. Gabriel was enjoying his meal as well. Being a child, he had to be a messy eater. But he found that macaroni was both a yummy food, and a perfect thing to throw.
