"Hm.... haven't heard of this guy... maybe he's not a threat. Maybe."

The name's...... Archangel.
PostPosted: Thu Jan 06, 2005 8:16 pm

((No problem. I have to wake up at 4 in the morning for school tomorrow. Be back by like... 2:30 in the afternoon tomorrow, which is like, 18 hours from now. I can wait for a post.))

"Oh! Nice to meet you!" he said in a friendly manner, forgetting the dangerous situation in an instant. One problem of his short memory span, he was always forgetting stuff. One could even count on the fact that in a few moments, he would forget the name of someone who he was chatting with for an hour or so in an instant.

"So... what brings an angel to this... place?" he asked, rather vexed with the situation. Indeed, if this man claimed to be an angel, than why would he be found in such a desolate landscape?

Actually, I was hoping that you could tell me. I was sitting over there in this fog... and someone threw a sword at me. Near as I can tell, it came from over here... so when I saw you, naturally I assumed you threw it at me... Is there anyone else here...?

"... Hey! I threw a sword up into the sky... wonder where it went..." He spoke to himself as he stroked the finely trimmed beard at his chin as if he was in deep thought, completely oblivious to anothers thinking.

Sil Mei was somehow eneveloped in a strange mist and then there was a feeling of all mass dropping out from under him and then the feeling of weightlessness and confusion. Almost out of nowhere another strange and unknown ground rose to meet Sil's booted feet. He could barely see his hand for a few seconds, but then the mist dissipated and he gazed on a foreign land that seemed endless. The grass a sort of grayish color, and in fact it seemed nothng was quite vibrant and "alive" except one thing a bizarre tree that seemed to emanate pugnacious waves causing Sil's already inflated fighting spirit to become a primal urge to lock weapons.

He gazed around and saw what seemed evidence of some battles occuring on this forsaken ground, but it seemed empty by population standards. Sil Mei stretched and tried to figue out what to do now that he could not deny the intensity of his will to fight. He removed his master's sword his back with sheath still in place. It was about four feet long and three inches wide, but near the hilt it expanded to about four inches for a length of a foot. There blue runes were placed. Each rune giving the sword a different aspect. His jewels raged about some sort of fight coming, but he knew to ignore there urges and pleas. He planted the tip of his sheathed sword on the ground and leaned on it's finely crafted hilt.

He removed the white cloth from his forehead and somehow felt more free as his forehead jewel was revealed. He breathed deeply and so wanted to battle his hands twitched now and then while they rested on the hilt. One question ran through Sil Mei's mind.

Who could I fight in this desolate place?

He'd been walking forward for a while now, the smoke from his cigarette winding and twisting into a boring spiral, dissipating into Abbadon knows what... His head was slightly downcasted, yellowed eyes dull and glossed over in a lazy manner. His entire body language screamed out laziness. Or maybe tiredness.

He'd been fighting Sun, but the boy had backed off into the mists, and when Vahn attempted to follow- he just found himself increasingly more and more lost. It was annoying to say the least of anything.

TAK TAK TAK TAK

His steps echoed out along the floor, that Tree, as usual pulse pounding and ever present no matter where he went, or how far he walked away. It always felt odd walking through this place and he wanted out already. His ears perked, as he heard another voice. Sun?

He stopped... Cocking his head in quiet listening. Moment later, he turned and headed towards where the voice came from, trailing smoke. His silouhette would soon be seen by the newcomer, coming closer and closer to the breaking free of the mist.

Sil Mei's eyes shot out to figure approaching him, and it seemed that he himself had been noticed first, but not seen yet from the actions of the figure. He lifted his weight off of the sword, and the tree's vibrations seemed to almost scream attack without words. He tilted his blade about 27 degrees to the right and it's tip serving as a pivot. The figure was coming from his right side just a bit behind his shoulder. Not the best of places for a possible opponent to be, but fine all the same. He let some latent energy gather into his arms and hands giving them extra speed and strength. His eyes viewed the vague outline and istantly knew that this man was a fighter even thought his walk seemed to ooze out a sense of laziness.

Sil's jewels seemed to almsot dilate a bit as they focused on the man coming, yet Sil still ignored their desires to jump and cleave this man apart. He flicked his head causing his gold hair to completely flow free of his face. His eyes seemed to lose focus a bit so he could survey more area without focusing on a point and losing sense of everything else. The tree pulsed in his heart. His hands fell down to the hilt, and he almost succumbed to the tree's will if it weren't for his mental meditations everyday. Sil focused and let his right foot slide on long the slightly wet gras about a foot and readjusted himself so that this man was coming from a 60 degree direction with his chest being the origin. He decided to make his presence known by sending out an almost essesence of spirit.

His soul focused and then pulsed outwards in waves and would reach the man giving him a sense of another person in his general area. Sil's red eyes locked onto the figure without completely focusing. He now knew if this man was a fighter, that he would know he was here. They were about twenty meters apart now. The tree seemed to know this and a tendril of figting urge seeped along the ground towards Sil Mei unknown to him. This tendril of fighting essence would cause him to lose control of his mind and attack just as the tree wanted. Sil did not need to speak, but he needed to be wary of the now two presences heading his way.

)(Sorry for the wait...)(

The sillouhette broke free clear of the mist now. Steps thudding dully against the ground, he waved his right hand in front of his face- swiping the remaining wisps of the broiling mist away, eyes taking in the platform before him. His nostrils flared, picking up nothing- not like he could have. He wasn't a dog... It was just a mild habbit of his. Running a hand through raven locks, he stood there, slightly slumped backwards. It was really starting to get tedious for him...this searching for Sun thing.

"...Tch. Where the hell is this kid." Striding forward suddenly, he slumped forward, arching slightly, as his hands dug into his jeans pockets. He walked on some more, completely oblivious to anyone or anything. In his heart he could feel the 'breathing' of the tree, but it had only been unnerving at first. He wasn't a bull-headed neanthedral, not succumbing to simple blood-lust quite so easily.

The hairs on the back of his neck slowly rose, that gut feeling growing in the pit of his stomach, causing Vahn to lift up his head, as he plodded along. His right eyebrow arched, a puff of smoke sent out...there was someone else here.

Sil Mei overcame the constant pressure to attack as he felt his soul almost quiver in the presence of the man now. Not in fear, but in recognition of the force looming to his front left. Sil Mei lifted the sheathed sword off the ground and placed it in it's proper place on his back. It's hilt risng above his left shoulder and the blade continuing down to the right past his hip. He let himself calm and almost fell into a trance when the tree's ethereal tendril of battle plunged into Sil's back. He felt the sudden intrusion in his body and was repulsed and angered by the sudden flow of emotion and desire that pulsed through his blood.

He grunted and focused on the essence of the tree and sent a force of his own into the tendril making it shutter and retreat out of his body and mind. The strange tree seemed to shake in protest at it's needs being rejected so easily. Sil Mei was a seasoned warrior, and even thogh he longed for battle constantly Sil knew how to control himself. He then focused on the man completely and completely squared himself to the man . His right foot still back in his stance. His power gathering aroumd his clenched fists, because it was never beneficial to be caught off gaurd.

Sil then sent off another essence wave, but this time one of more warning then recognition. It should give the man a sence of caution and intirgue. Sil Mei still dare not speak because words gave away all true meaning. He would speak when needed or alone, but never any other time.

Vahn wasn't much for the giving of respect. Not to say he was a complete rude S.O.B., but he just was that bad a**. Or so other people seemed to say of him. Vahn heeded no warnings, or really cared much for any agression pushed towards him, he could more than take care of himself.

Still, all things considered, he might have stopped for some idle, and cordial chatter- but he was hard pressed for time. He was still looking for Sun after all.

Vahn came to a complete halt smoking lazily, plumes spiraling up above his head. If it was crazy, but if one were to glance up over his head, they might just think they were seeing things. Wafting above his head, hanging there for only a mere moment- it seemed as if the face of a demon were smiling wide.

Maybe it was just smoke after all? Couldn't be real could it? Nah... "Oi. You. Constipated looking guy. You seen a sorta short guy, runnin' 'bout here? I've been looking for hours already."

((Sorry for the wait, something came up...hehehe...sorry))

Sil Mei smirked at his comment and already enjoyed the man i front of him. He locked eyes with the man and gave a succinct and to the point answer.

No, but I am here, sir.

Sil Mei did not move or give any outward sign of helping this man search for a "sorta short guy" he did not know. His gaze fell upon something in the mist or was it part of the mist, it seemed a figure was circling around the man almost until it disappeared. Sil put that out of his mind and again focused on the matter at hand.

He gave the man a look of who are you instead of saying anything hoping this warrior will see his facial expression. Sil Mei was now thoroughly intrigued feeling the power emanting from this man's body. His soul sensed it more than his mind, and his sul also bega to emanate great waves of power in the presence of a seemingly worthy opponent. Sil could tell this man could easily hld his own by his stance and general aura he emitted of confidence. Sil smirked again sensing the tree liked the two men meeting.

"Well... Can't be helped then. Thanks anyways." Vahn raised a hand, giving off some sort of mock salute, as he began walking forward again. He took hold of his cigarette with his right hand, blowing out a stream of smoke as yellowed eyes slitted slightly...

Some guy... Like's he turning the volume all the way up or something. Is he looking for a fight? Tch... Geez. I hope Sun didn't get into any trouble... This place is wierd enough as it is. Vahn would soon be walking right in front of the man, completely oblivious to any intentions he had, or wanted.

Sil Mei instantly knew that he was going to be passed as well as his chance to fight a truly powerful opponent. Sil would not allow this to happen, because it was his intention to become the most powerful he can be. Sil's eyes closed and then opened slowly. There hue had gone from bright red to blood red, and his hair seemed to take on a more white look. He simply said two quite yet powerful words too the man four meters in front of him.

Prepare yourself.

With that Sil Mei let his right foot move another foot back leeting himself fall into the Soul Jutsiken Stance. A basic stance in his Five Soul Method, and he would unleash a fairly powerful attack when the warrior was ready, because it was dishonorable to attack someone before they are ready. But when the fight starts the rules disappear and instinct and physics takes over. His fist fell to his hips ans would be ready to thrust there attack at any time. It was unfortunate for Sil Mei that the mist was so heavy, because it would give some hint to where his usually undetectable Soul Attacks would come from.

? Vahn, had been intending on clearing right on through, minding his own business respectfully, but even he couldn't ignore the body language this guy was exuding out by force. He placed the cigarette back between his lips, blowing out another breath, as his booted feet sqaured against the floor. "Look, I don't who you are, and I'm sure your a strong guy- but I just don't have the time for this right now." His head never turned, nor his body- he could see the man out of the corner of his eye, just fine.

Even Vahn's patience had limits, and this guy just didn't seem to be listening. There was no mistaking the body posture, he was serious about this. Vahn remained unmoving, but that didn't mean he was gonna stand still and let the guy do what he wanted.

Sil Mei was dead serious about fighting, and knew that it seemed no matter what happened here there was always enough time. Sil needed this fight to see where he stood with himself. His jewel on his right forehead blinked and then Sil began his move. A Soul Wind, a wind that isn't felt or seen created by Sil's power, ruffled his clothes as he powered up his fists. It would just seem to an on-looker that Sil Mei was standing over a vent and nothing more, but indeed there were forces at work.

He began by thrusting both fists out and turning them over knuckle side up realising his Locking Double Soul Strike Technique. This move channels Sil's mastery of his fighting spirit into a virtually undetectable and homing projectile with varying power, but with a direct hit from both Soul Thrusts would cause some damage depending upon the person. His attacks unleashed from his fists and rushed out towards Vahn in a weaving manner. One aiming for his elbow the other for his solar plexus. The only evidence there was of an attack would be the mist parting because of the Soul Thrusts. Each Soul Thrust had about 1000 newtons worth of power moving at about 3.5 meters a second.

Sil Mei was already on the move after his Locking Double Soul Strike Springing to the right at about 4.5 meters per seconds. He was already letting his power gather again, but this time lettig it flow into his muscles and bones strengthening them exponentially. When he skidded to a stop about 5.0 meters from where he began waiting for the warrior's response..
