Mozz arrived back near base, his spikes shed quickly after exiting the unity field. The man, for any wounds he had sustained was bandaged in protective mold. Mozz was getting tired of carrying him but the site of the mansion made things easier on him. He was on the final stretch, after that a rest before going back to check out the palace dome; hopefully this time with back up.

Oh, his foot shattered the door; after all, the more expensive it is, the cheaper it's made, or so it seems. But as his foot shattered the door, something did burst through the door. Eight days of built up water, in a bathroom the size of most people's living rooms. Coming out the door of one single bathroom, less than a foot away from two single men. On an upstairs encasement, and no notice to run. Seems the sound was just the little burbles of air in the room that remained.
((Eight days of build up from a full going bathtub.))

Mozz arrived back in HQ, panting and carrying an unknown man on his shoulders. He was sore and as he set down the injured man on a couch near the front door of the mansion in let out a groan.
“I’m home!” Mozz called out “Found someone interesting, any chance I can get a medical bot in here?”

Jacknife was ready to fire as the... water... came flooding out.
Well s**t.
There was nothing he could do against water. A GTFO would only delay the inevitable, and shooting it... that was just dumb. So he was swept up by the flood and slammed into the ground, flowing backwards with the water as it ran down the stairs.
His hand shot out and tried to catch on just about anything. He quickly let go though, and just fought to keep himself above the surge. There probably wouldn't be much danger of drowning, as the water would most likely just run out before that became an issue. He did try to wrap himself around his head though, just too keep anything from banging into him.

"Well, there was a BIG guy, and a girl... Some guy who veered off, another guy who I didn't get a good look at, and a really hardened, scarred guy. The big guy had some tattoos, too, I think. They looked pretty geared up, too."
He glanced down at the pack, shaking his head. "Nah, just a parachute. But at least we know where some of the other people came from... And what happened to the city..."
Lah glanced around the street after that last sentence, suddenly finding everything else a lot more grim-looking.

"Honestly it's more than what we got already." Joseph shrugged, "I suppose we should figure out what to do with this information. I mean, think about it. I'd rather know where these geared guys are before they find out where we are. Tactically sound."
He hammered a button on the nav-wrist and the Medibot hovered over to Mozz, and awaited his command.

Well that explained it, in a rather ironic yet painful way. Raymond could do little more than utter a single phrase before being swept up along with his companion, unable to stand against such a wall of water.
"Oh shi-..." was about all that came out before the water knocked him clear off his feet and onto his back, sending him flying back down the very stairs he had climbed up earlier. Like his partner he covered his head and hoped to god he didn't run into anything too solid, like a wall or a post. He did manage however to remove his finger from the trigger of his gun, taking away the possibility of him accidentally firing off a shot in the watery confusion.
Hopefully the water surge would subside soon and he would be able to stand again, but until that happened he would continued to be swept away.

It'd take a moment or two, but the surge would let up, leaving the both of them at the bottom of the stairs, and the water surging out of the open door that Raymond had unknowingly, but smartly left open when he came in. Oh well, the lawn would get watered, at least.

Mozz didn’t know exactly how to work the robot, but he hoped this command would work “Give this man medical attention and find a place for him to rest. Make sure he doesn’t escape, we need to ask him some questions before he goes.”
He turned to Joseph “Thanks for the help Joseph, I’m beginning to regret the fact I smashed the transfuse-a-tron you were building on that level. Your robots are really handy.”
"As for me, I think I'm gonna go scouting again in a bit, theres so many people around here its nuts. All of them probably know more then we do, many of them are bing attacked by hostiles. If we help a few people out, we might get some more answers."
For the moment however, Mozz was content with finding a big chair and resting for a few minutes. Being a hero always looked easier then it was.

Jacknife stood and shook himself off a bit.
"Backup... You need backup." He said in a mock-disgusted tone. One look at his face would show that he was entirely too amused at the situation. "Afraid of getting sucked down the drain?"
And with that he broke and just started laughing.
"Come on, lets get back to the base and tell them about your big discovery."
It didn't occur to him that his gun was pretty much useless for a while now. Some guns were waterproof, but not this one. It was pretty much middle of the line.
He headed out the door and started walking back towards the base.

"Yeah, that sounds like a pretty good idea... But, I'd rather avoid them completely, really. I've been shot at enough so far, and none of it's even been direct...."
As opposed to the time in Grayport. Where everyone was shooting at Lah, and it was all direct.

The best the robot could do was lead the man into the house, lie him down on one of the couches and begin mending his wounds. He wouldn't use the stablizing serum as it didn't seem extreme, but it would use it's second last charge of stitchless foam.
"Don't worry about in Mozz." Joseph waved him off, "I've long forgotten that."
Behind them the building was really starting to take place. A large control tower would now be poking out of the garage and the commandeering was complete. The robots had begun on the storage shed, and were finishing the last touches of the tower.

"I suppose we both look like fools then eh?" Raymond said with a laugh as he picked his gun and himself up off the floor, shaking a little to get some of the really excess water out of his clothing and vest. Same as his partner his gun was also gone until it dried, as it was just some junky remake of a military rifle. Lovely, that left him with his knife and some soggy bullets.
"I'll catch up to you in a second, I"m going to turn the water off." he said as he carefully made his way back up the stairs and to the door that had caused him his recent problems. Reaching a hand through the hole he unlocked the door and let it swing open, stepping inside into the soaked bathroom. With a laugh he turned the water off if nothing stopped him from doing such, and then he left, back downstairs and out the door...back to base with a rather funny story under his belt.

"We were attacked by this massive eight foot guy with twelve katanas!" Jacknife exclaimed as he walked back into base camp. "He was also some kind of hydromancer, we got him but he got us all wet." Of course, it was an outrageous lie. Nobody needed to know any different.
"What's next on the agenda then?"
He dumped his shotgun back somewhere near the house and scooped up his cloak, using it to pat himself dry in as many areas as possible, he was probably going to be a bit damp for a while now... great.
"And I don't suppose anyone has a spare crate of guns lying about?"
