Kaito tipped his head slightly, listening to the announcement and the personality behind it. Truthfully he was used to someone who was quite happy only because they thought it was better to look that way. There was a certain fake tone to their voices, all of which was lacking in the happy voice at the moment. He seemed actually...sincere about his statement. Which was almost as scary.

"It obviously knows the proper way to admire our presence."Kaito drawled, only the slight tilt of his lips hinting that he was being sarcastically mocking with his statement even though it was hard to see in the tone of his voice or anywhere else. The voice fell away leading to a rush of movement as the other students in the school began quickly making their way to their classrooms. Kaito's barriers snapped into place so quickly they should have left whiplash as he followed along behind Jack till they arrived at the correct room only to see the paper that told them their classroom had been changed.

Slate blue eyes stared at the note as he stifled the brief feeling of annoyance seconds before his arm was suddenly snagged and pulled around in a quick circle. He rolled up on the balls of his feet to stay in balance as he was twirled, shooting a flat look at his red-head companion as he moved out of reach. Had he had the use of his other arm he might have had enough time to have dropped him on his a** for the action in the middle of a crowded hall. Or he might not have...Jack seemed able to slip between his usual reactions.

He sighed and rolled his eyes as he ran his hand through his hair but didn't otherwise do anything to the red-head as they continued to the new classroom. In typical Kaito fashion he paid no attention to a single other person in the room, yet managed to instantly log them in his memory along with their position. He wasn't particularly impressed with anyone, but then he rarely was.

Jack took a seat by the window and Kaito took the seat just behind him and in front of a dark haired boy who was watching them calmly from midnight blue eyes. He sat rigidly and watched the teacher with a look that basically was an empty version of "impress me".

A dark haired boy had pulled Aiden to the side almost as soon as he'd gone into the original classroom and been more than ready to offer a proposition to him, he wasn't offering very much but the dark haired boy was feeling a little out of sorts for no real reason he could name so he'd been willing to play, at least until a purple haired male had interrupted them and taken them to the new room.

Aiden had given the dark haired teacher his welcoming smile as he'd recognized him upon walking in. That would make it easier to at least find out what the price was going to be for the food, he wouldn't have to hunt down the couple that he'd spoken with the other day. But he also knew the game Elias was wanting to play so he'd moved to the back row near the window. He always sat near the window because being away from an instant exit usually made him tense. Which usually resulted in his leaving the area. He did it calmly and with a docile smile, but nothing could stop him.

The boy from earlier had taken his seat across the room but gave him a look that said they'd be taking up the discussion later, Aiden smiled with a tip of his head before pulling the necklace free and twirling it around his fingers so it caught the light from overhead as he rested his chin against the palm of his other hand as he watched the pendant with haunted blue orbs. He only moved his head slightly when two new students walked in and moved to the chairs in front of him. A red-head two seats ahead and then a blue haired boy with empty blue eyes. Aiden lifted his head from his hand and watched him take his seat.

His blue eyes landing on the unusual colored hair, he had to admit he'd never seen a shade that color. Like the purple haired male who had called them over, it was unique and unique always caught Aiden's eye. His lips lifted in the smile made of pure promise as he let the necklace drop to dangle in the V of his shirt as the hand that hand been holding it reached out and touched the blue strands. The male stiffened like he'd hit him with an electric shock. His smile widened slightly, that sort of reaction usually meant pain and he was feeling more self-destructive than usual.

The owner of the hair he was playing with turned his head and gave him the coldest look he'd ever seen on any human being, it promised pure pain and death. Pain was one thing, this was enough to spark his survival instinct as he watched the flat empty look with his own docile blue eyes before proving the kiss had thrown him further than he expected as he leaned forward to close the distance between them and brushed a kiss across the other boy's mouth to see if it was the same as usual.

He was NOT expecting the next reaction which was pressure at his neck before he was jerked out of his seat and slammed into the glass of the window, a warning crack from the glass proving he'd hit it pretty hard, hard enough to bruise. The blue haired male was using only one arm, the other was in a sling, which was probably why his butt was still sitting on his desk. He tipped his head slightly and smiled, licking his lips and chasing the taste of the boy as his body instantly responded to the violent action.

"Hi."the dark haired boy purred in his bedroom voice as the glacial eyes staring at him with a look that was flat enough shivered as his smile got wider, reaching up to close his hand lightly around the wrist holding him and brushing a finger along the soft inner skin of it.

Elias watched Dom return with the students, all a couple of years older than the ones he was used to dealing with. Not that it presented much of a problem. In a way it was good. Juniors had a tendency to be at the age where the realized their futures were on the line and began applying for various colleges. If it leant any trace of seriousness to their studies Elias was in favor of it. Most of the students seemed to be the usual crowd, coming in small groups with the occasional loner. He immediately recognized the dark haired boy from the cafeteria the night before and gave him a curt nod of greeting when he came in. He had forgotten the boy was one of the juniors. He didn’t seem to have lost an inch of his disturbingly sensual aura overnight either. Elias drew a hand over his face in exasperation when he realized the other students were picking up on it as well. One in particular seemed ready to take the unspoken offer and pounce on Aiden. Great. He would have to keep that in mind while assigning project partners later in the year.

A redhead and blue haired boy managed to catch his eye as well. The redhead because he looked like the classic troublemaker and the second because of the odd flat look that managed to both take everything in and ignore it at the same time. The instant challenge in those eyes drew a faint eyebrow raise from Elias as he studied the student. He wasn’t going to waste time posturing. If the student cooperated and was intelligent, Elias would find him an interesting assignment. If he was only there to make trouble or remain sullenly uncooperative, things would take an entirely different turn.

His eyes drifted to the clock as he waited for the class to fill. With only a minute or so left he looked back to the class. Just in time to see Aiden lean over and press a kiss to the blue haired boy’s lips. The violent reaction was instantaneous and there was a quiet frightened uproar from any student who saw all or part of the exchange take place.

“Release him!” Elias snapped. The gray haired teacher was on his feet in an instant, long legs crossing the classroom in a heartbeat and he yanked the two students apart. This was not what he needed today. A sexual harassment lawsuit followed by a countersuit for aggravated assault would cause all kinds of trouble. He yanked the two boys apart, holding either of them at arm’s length. His eyes flashed furiously at both of them. Releasing Aiden, he drew the blue haired boy up and out of his seat, at the same time grabbing the redhead and pulling him up. A few quick movements and he’d switched the two students, putting the redhead in between Aiden and his attacker/target.

“Not. Acceptable.” He said, voice soft and hard. He didn’t have to speak loudly. The entire room was silent and staring at them, waiting with baited breath. “The moment either of you so much as looks at the other for the remainder of my class will be the moment that person finds themselves cleaning the bathrooms for the rest of the year.”

With one last look at the two boys, he moved smoothly to the front of the classroom. He took role, noting the names of the two new comers in particular. He seemed to remember Dom at some point along the way and motioned for him to begin passing out text books and a couple of packets explaining the basic layout for the year’s lesson plan as well as the way they would be graded.

“Vari, turn around,” he sighed, noting the redhead was now speaking to Aiden. What was it about that boy that drew so much trouble so quickly?

Jack settled down sideways in his seat, watching the other students with a kind of idle interest, sorting them out in his head as potential games or things to be ignored or bothered as it suited him. It was harder to tell without a bit of experimentation of course. He’d probably bother those closest to him at first and see who was the most fun to mess with. He would have liked to focus all his attention on Kaito but more and more he found pay attention to Kaito lead to less and less publicly acceptable kinds of games. If he was going to get through a year of classes without eventually getting up and dragging Kaito out of the room, he would have to find alternative methods of passing the time. Maybe it was juvenile, but Jack didn’t have much of a problem with that.

What he did have a problem with was the sudden tension he could feel next to him. He lazily swung his eyes back to Kaito just in time to see a dark eyed boy radiating casual sex lean over and kiss Kaito. His Kaito. Jack found himself actually frozen into inaction which saved himself from trying to climb over the desk and pull Kaito away. He pulled his feet in from where they’d been sprawled in preparation to stand, giving the teacher a clear path to suddenly bolt past and pull the two students apart. For an adult the man could sure move fast. Jack actually got hit in the face by passing gray hair as December jumped on the problem almost literally.

He started to get up again, wanting to get to Kaito when he felt a hand on his arm hauling him out of one seat and pushing him back into another. It took a moment to realize the teacher had switched his and Kaito’s seats before launching into some threat about bathrooms. Jack took advantage of the turned back to lean forward. He spoke before he touched Kaito, deciding that this time it was a good idea to announce his touch as his own. “You alright?” he murmured, touching the other’s shoulder briefly.

Then his eyes narrowed and he swung himself around to look at the offender. Jack was rather good at looking insultingly unimpressed with something and he turned the look full on the boy in front of him. And weirdly, the anger subsided. There was something wrong with this kid. Broken. Absolutely messed up. Jack was pissed as hell but on some instinctual level he found he couldn’t actually see the boy a a legitimate threat. It was like looking at a puppy that had just drug it’s butt across the carpet. You wanted to make sure it never happened again, but you had to admit it was just following some instinct and didn’t know what it was done.

So Jack wouldn’t shove his teeth down his throat. Until he so much as looked at Kaito suggestively again.

“Hi,” Jack said with a lazy grin, eyes still narrowed. “You don’t know me, but I’m your biggest hero right now. Doc’s going to kill you and I’m going to help him unless you convince me in the next five seconds that you won’t even breathe his air for the rest of the year. He’s mine and I am not really the sharing-is-caring type.”He settled his chin on his arms, folding them on top of Aiden’s desk. He would have stayed like that if the teacher hadn’t suddenly seemed to realize it and call him to turn around.

Jack saluted the teacher mockingly and slid around to face the front.

Yet you can't understand why I'm still smiling...
"

Opening the door he gave a large sigh of relief as he went through it. Of course, that didn't change the fact that people were currently staring at him in his outfit, but that was besides the point. He was in class and ready to learn...Until his face was twisted with great annoyance and disgust. A familiar long hair blonde man came inside the room, with a rather annoying (to Yukio) playful grin.

It might have looked like he'd simply restrained the male, the students around them all reacting to the sudden explosion of violence. Truthfully, the only thing that saved the dark haired boy was the fact that his other hand was trapped in a sling. He'd jerked it to land the second hit before he'd found he couldn't and ended up stuck with the boy pinned against a wall. He didn't get much further than that before someone else grabbed him and jerked him away from the blue eyed kid who sagged on being released and was jerked around to get glared at furiously.

Slate blue eyes meet the teachers with the beginning of his killing stare. The start of emptiness that would not be good. It didn't go into the blank void that had sucked him under before because this had been his own body that had been assaulted. It was just an icy flat stare that said he could and would kill anyone that his gaze fell on. He meet the grey pair across from him and there wasn't any change in the chance of survival just because he was a teacher. The look edged towards the dangerous void emptiness, however, when Elias grabbed Jack and moved him around. His aura started deadening out until he let him go and sat him down again to tell him quietly that if they looked at each other again they would be cleaning bathrooms.

At this point his aura leveled back out, now that Jack wasn't being threatened any longer, going back to the glacial front that had the other students quickly looking anywhere but at the group near the window. He stiffened faintly as he felt movement coming from behind him before Jack asked him if he was alright seconds before felt the light touch. He relaxed slightly and nodded his head, not turning around to look because at the moment he was locking himself further under the glacial barriers and edging towards human blizzard. His slate orbs flickered towards the sling that hid his arm, seeing the traces of red there. He'd pulled the stitches...but if it had been more he'd be bleeding a lot heavier. So he wouldn't worry about it for the time. The sling hid the seeping crimson anyway.

Behind him he heard Jack speaking quietly to the dark haired male and the quiet response before the teacher told him to turn around. Nothing was showing in his expression as he simply stared forward with a careful emptiness that showed nothing but the ice.

Aiden just smiled calmly when the dark haired teacher arrived and ripped him apart. Well used to being abused he let his weight shift easily with the pull to not hit anything or appear to be resisting. Docile blue eyes meet the angry grey with a simple acceptance before he was released and the pair in front of him where separated and moved to new seats.

The dark haired teacher warned the blue haired boy to avoid looking at each other again or they'd be cleaning bathrooms, while this was happening Aiden sank back into his own seat once he was sure he wouldn't be receiving any more of the discipline, granted it could come later. The red-head spoke briefly to the blue haired boy who was radiating enough lethal intent to have the blue eyed boy tipping his head slightly. A second later the red-head turned around and spoke to him with narrowed eyes and a lazy grin. Aiden's welcoming smile spread across his lips as he meet the stare meekly. The necklace was lifted once more and the pendant brushed against his bottom lip before he began playing with it with his tongue while watching the amethyst eyes supported by his arms across from him.

Docile blue eyes dipped as he nodded acknowledgment. It didn't take much to be dominant over Aiden, he enjoyed pain but didn't want to die. He usually had better instincts than to have pushed that as far as he did. A faint hint of sadness or something like it breathed to life in the midnight blue orbs as he turned his gaze out towards the window and the rain spilling there as he rubbed the pendant back and forth over his bottom lip. He could recognize an obvious claim, much like he had with Yukio and his patron.

"Understood."the dark haired boy replied meekly, his natural submissiveness showing more so because he could still feel the pulse of pain along his back from his impact with the glass. He rested his cheek against the cool glass and shut his eyes, letting the world around him fade away. He didn't care what he learned anyway. He continued the seductive movement with the pendant which was drawing attention from some of the other students as the teacher told someone to turn around. With his eyes closed he didn't realize it was the red-head.

Jack saw the nod and the small shift that said Kaito had relaxed, even if it was only by a millimeter. If this was any indication of how the rest of the school year was going to go, no homework would ever be turned in by the redhead as he was going to have to make sure he spent a sufficient amount of time assuring himself that his Kaito was alright and not really injured. Violence in Kaito worried Jack. Not in the traditional sense of physical preservation, but because he associated violence with that dead blank look. He wasn’t going to go through that again. He’d been more frightened than he ever would have admitted that Katio wasn’t going to come out of that trance and that kind of fear could only translate itself into bad things.

But at least Kaito was responding to him, even if he couldn’t see the dark blue eyes from his new vantage point. He could certainly make sure no one else tried anything as stupid though. That was a comforting thought. Yes, Kaito was going to have to sit in the front for the rest of the school year, no matter what class or club or detention they ended up in. It felt more natural this way, being able to have Kaito in front of him and watch his back. And once he stood up, watch his a**. Jack felt himself smirk.

His attention turned to the dark haired boy and found him smiling, even as he gave the distinct threat. Oddly, he was convinced that the other male understood and agreed to the terms. Maybe it was part of that same talent that had every eye drawn towards him, but Jack the does-not-trust actually did. Almost instantly he relaxed, the purple eyes no longer narrowed. Now that they understood each other, he didn’t really have a problem with the male. Kaito was damned good to look at so he could forgive the first time someone gave into the temptation. But the rumor mill would need to spread the word that Kaito was taken and Jack was guard dog whose bark was matched with a bite.

He drew away and stared blankly at the teacher who was at the front of the room explaining something about homework. Turn it in, yadda ydadd, 30% of the grade…. Jack noted that he’d probably have to do at least part of it to pass and went back to tuning the older man out. Papers were passed back and he idly flicked through it.

Bored again, he once more turned around and eyed the boy behind him. His violet gaze took in the earring, the bright necklace, the way his hands seemed to constantly stray to either one or the other. Jack had no idea what the boy’s name was, but as he rarely used given names anyway, this wasn’t a problem. “I’m Jack, Magpie,” he said, keeping his voice low. “Wanna tell me why you look like someone kicked your dog?” He couldn’t help being curious when someone who looked like they could persuade the mayor to hand over the keys to the city seemed unhappy. Restless. Just generally sad.

I would rather seal their spirits, even if he didn't want me to, then to see him die the same way...

Minagi was cheerfully waving at the angry looking child. His hands were grasped in a 'yes!!' position as he watched Yukio's face fill up with anger and annoyance. He waited for him to take his seat, which ended up being in the back of the class and once everyone had settled, he introduced himself and his brother, to what seemed as Yukio's dismay and then asked everyone to introduce themselves as well.

Dion didn't want to be late for class, but he couldn't exactly run. He went as fast as he could and slid into class. He searched the seats and spotted Yukio. In a dress. Dion blinked a bit before smiling and taking a seat next to him. "Hey Yukio. Um...why are you wearing a dress?"

Kaito watched the teacher drone on about the class rules and other such things while the purple haired male assisted him where needed, mostly in passing out things. The blue haired boy just let them land on his desk and made no move to acknowledge anything, although he WAS absorbing everything that was said. First impressions were the world and the teacher and the young heir had just clashed on theirs. Kaito wouldn't be putting any extra effort into the instructions.

Aiden for his part wasn't even making an attempt to look like he cared as he continued to rest his head against the rain splattered window while the droning passed right over his head. It wasn't until a clap of thunder shattered through the air and was seconds behind a brilliant flash of light that seared even the insides of his eyelids that he slowly opened his midnight blue orbs. He stared at the gathering power of the storm while a few kids jumped. The red-head in front of him turned around and earned the attention of the blue gaze as the dark haired boy looked at him with the same docile look he usually gave, the necklace stilling in his mouth. At the question his eyes instantly lost any trace of anything other than perfect meekness and his promise filled smile spread across his lips as he rested his chin lightly in his hand and dropped the necklace as he'd realized he was playing with it like a worry stone.

"It's just the rain."the dark haired boy replied in his bedroom voice. He knew better than to give away a trace of emotion other than simple acceptance because it got you hurt. He already acknowledged the boy apparently known as Jack as dominate so he wasn't going to be pushing any buttons. Ahead of him he saw Kaito go stiff, turning his head just slightly enough to be obvious that he was listening to everything they were saying. Aiden tapped the special made pendant against his bottom lip and returned his gaze to the red-head to see if he'd accept his statement as another brilliant flash of thunder rippled through the area. He didn't notice the purple haired man at the front of the room glance nervously towards the windows and hedge towards the doors.

Jack raised an eyebrow, barely batting an eyelash at what should have been tempting tones and a quiet lure. Jack was no saint by any stretch of the imagination and if he’d run into Aiden when he’d first arrived he would have probably been among the ones at least giving the dark eyed boy a look over. The problem was Jack’s brain. With the odd exception of Kaito, people were games and were classified into ‘fun’ and ‘boring’. Kaito had started out as a fun game and had evolved into something else completely This boy still fell under the category of ‘game’ but there was no friction there, no opposition to make it a challenge. You got the feeling that the answer was ‘yes’ to any question to asked or demand you made. What was the fun in that?

Besides, anything that leaned even remotely towards bedroom games sent Jack straight back into thoughts of Kaito. That was hardly a complicated process and seemed to be a permanent detour in his mind now, a rewiring that would be difficult if not impossible to displace. So even if he could appreciate the boy on an aesthetic level, the charm hit the redhead’s thick skull and ended up bouncing back off. They just didn’t fit that way.

“Woah, you are decent bullshit artist,” Jack chuckled, keeping his voice low. “I almost bought that.” He looked faintly impressed, amusement dancing in his eyes. He tilted his head back to check on the teacher who seemed to be frowning at the weather. Jack watched Elias December move quickly towards the computer and begin shutting it down, gray eyes constantly wavering back towards the window. Jack remembered something about the hazards of computers and electrical surges so he supposed that precaution made sense.

He also saw that Kaito had oriented himself a bit closer and looked rather pleased. Kaito was paying attention because he knew Jack was paying attention. Good. He liked having the blue eyed male’s mind on him. The hand nearest Kaito moved and idly played with the hair at the back of the other’s neck. It wasn’t anything big, just a small reassurance that yes, Jack was thinking about him and that invitation to ditch class was still wide open.

To Aiden he added, “You don’t have to tell me the truth, but come up with something a bit more entertaining, would you? I hate class.”

Dom backed towards the door with a bit of hesitancy to stay away from the windows and attracted the lightning. He could already feel the frizz of electricity in his hair and if it weren't for his having to stay because of his position he might have found a convenient pace to stay through the thunderstorm. He hated lightning.

Kaito watched dispassionately as the teacher's aide got closer to the door and their teacher started powering down the computer as the lightning briefly flickered the lights overhead as it cracked loudly above them. Most of his attention, however, was on the pair behind them who were talking quietly. nothing touching his expression but he didn't like the dark haired boy in the slightest and the thought of him near his roommate was enough to make him tense all on its own. He was behaving only because he had one arm and Jack seemed to have picked up a bit on it and was playing with his hair. That was the only reason he wasn't moving out of his seat for the second time that day.

Aiden for his part only smiled slightly wider when he was told that he was bullshitting and almost decent at it. Nothing touched his docile blue orbs as a steak of lightning lite them up as it cracked across the world outside the window. The dark haired boy tipped his head slightly and licked the diamond as his gaze slid towards the twirling strand of hair. It was a possessive move, but there was something about it that had him dropping his gaze back out towards the window. He couldn't understand why he was feeling so off, like he wanted something but couldn't figure out what.

"There's a group of inter-terrestrial assassins with plans at world domination by possessing the bodies of young teenage boys to form a slave ring to get more bodies. I've recently been contacted by them and am trying to adjust to the human way of life."the dark haired boy replied with his casual welcoming smile but didn't bring his gaze from the falling rain. His tone hinted at a teasing playfulness, like foreplay done in public but he wasn't really putting any effort behind it, it was just a natural reaction to talking to a person. Kaito leaned a little bit further back into Jack's touch.
