Kokoroki there are Icelander's in America other than Bjoerk? Vá I didn't know their were many here there sure aren't any in UT Björk lives in the USA? (And what's UT?)
My friend goes to Stanford University :] I guess alot of Icelanders like going to the USA because everything's sooo much cheaper there than here. Well most places are cheaper than here actually.. sweatdrop
I don't get people who come here only to get drunk though. I mean, alcohol here is probably like double the price compared to pretty much everywhere else. So why here??? D:

She did? I knew she married some artist but I had no idea where he was from. Guess that goes to show how interested I am in the lives of people I don't know personally o/

supa sta66 ooh, another language I want to learn...I've heard that it's quite hard though. Well it's in the same language category as English (germanic) but is less like english though
it's closer to Faroese and other scandinavisk languages

I can only imagine how hard Icelandic must be, with all its grammar and totally different words and pronounciation. But I think it must be quite helpful, at least I feel like I know all the grammar I see in other languages at least in some way, from Icelandic. whee

I just got some music from Tappi Tíkarrass, Björk's early 80's punk band, and it is wonderful. biggrin
The songs are all in Icelandic, though, so I can't understand anything. sweatdrop
Would anyone be interested in translating the song titles for me? smile
