Deadly Lullaby
I get to go see it for the second time this weekend heart I have the Highlights from the original soundtrack whee my mommy got it... hehe! I've been listening it non-stop since I saw the movie...
I personally, like the new singers over the originals.... Gerard has a more "rock" voice (said someone in the guild...) and I guess thats prob why I prefer him over Michael... I'm a rock/metal chick lol... but meh... the songs are amazing, and those who sing them sing them well!!! heart

Gerard Butler has more of a rock voice since most of his music experience is in a rock band.

yes and about 90% of the music I listen to is Rock/Metal so that is prob why I like him more then Michael... Michael is amazing though... just doesn't appeal to me as much, sweatdrop

last year in my school band we got to play the Phantom of the Opera theme heart It was awkward because we have almost no string players... so, didn't sound as good of course lol, but still... it was beautiful heart

I didn't like the fact that in the scene while Christine, Raoul and Erik were ontop of the roof that Erik was standing by a horse statue's butt. -_-;

I love it! Pure and simple. Gerry did a great job! (^)_^
Tell me, what are your favorite scenes?
Mine are:
The entire song of Point of No Return to the end of the film.
The Fairground (because Erik avenges himself and Giry is the only one to help him)
The Phantom of the Opera (its my favorite song)
Music of the Night-By the end of this song, I am totally putty. (~).~
Did anyone else catch the 1940s Beauty and the Beast reference? (The arms holding candles that have vanished when Meg enter the passage)

I really liked the Point of No Return scene with all the dancers in the background (and I liked the Phantom of the Opera scene too, of course ^^)

....Did anybody notice that when Christine wakes up, Her stocking/garter belt is off? I mean, like.. Gone. >__>;; Naughty Erik..

I just saw it for the third time. It's still great, as expected. I wanted to point out a few things though.

In the cemetary scene: Christine gets out of bed in a white nightgown. She walks down and talks to the carriage driver in a white nightgown. She puts on a black cloak in a white nightgown. She climbs into the carriage in a BLACK DRESS. Wth? This bothers me...

Did anyone notice that Butler gets a snowflake up his nose at the end of All I Ask of You? It's sitting in his left nostril and makes me giggle and chant 'BREATHE OUT!! BREATHE OUT!!' under my breath...

Also, In both the play and the movie, no one seems to notice that Piangi is suddenly 6'2", 50 pounds lighter, and doesn't have an accent... *sigh*

I was thinking a booger was coming out of his nose since he was crying..
Poor Erik, he needs a tisswue! *hands Erik her hankerchief*

I hope the fake snowflake didn't get stuck in his lungs and dies from that..
Why I mention that? Actor Lon Chaney died from inhaling fake snow and it killed him..

Think of the slight irony in that. It's mind boggling.

On the set of It's a Wonderful Life, the show was really frosted flakes. whee
