"Where is everyone, I can't tell where I am!" Oull flew past a large asteroid and and looked around and saw no one. "Dang it, I'm heading back to the hangar." He started to head toward the outside of the asteroid field. He checked the object constantly as he neared the outside. It was rectangular in shape with a diamond shaped top. Strange marks covered the surface. "Hmm, this thing really looks interesting. Can't wait to get back and find out what it is."

Val watched the Wrath of Khan zoom away from the light show, her dark eyes quite expressionless. After a moment she spoke to her pilot, though her gaze remained fixed on the retreating ship. "Let's give him a head start, shall we?" she murmured, almost to herself, "He can take it part of the way for us." A slight, humorless smile flashed across her face, but it was gone as quickly as it had come. "Start pursuit when the tracking device kicks in." She pause thoughtfully, then continued. "And it would probably be good to send whichever dispensable McCloud model they have out here now an anonymous message that his prize is gone. Common courtesy." She yawned, stretching, then got up from her chair. "I'm going to try to get some sleep." With that, she left the cockpit.
The pilot resisted the urge to shake his head in bewilderment. That girl was extremely difficult to... Girl? She was his commanding officer! Right. Without further ado, he started typing up a message for Mr. McCloud.
((You can decide what it says; the pilot is definitely an NPC.))

Okay, are you listening? Grass grows, Birds fly,((Oull, you wouldn't know what that ship is and its impossible to see through the asteroid field...)) okkusu dodged asteroids while trying to spot the relic. "What does a relic look like.... Well its old.... Thats a start. Good." He was starting to calm down but sadly that state of calm would not last long. The console beeped several times. 'Incoming message.' The ship said to Fokkusu. The voice was very robotic. Fokkusu pressed a button near the front of the ship and it started to read the message. 'Dear Mr. McCloud. There is no need to waste your time in Meteo as the relic has already been obtained. It would be wise of you to leave now and forget about the relic.'Fokkusu's jaw dropped about the same time as an asteroid whooshed by his ship. "....AH!!! Those mother@*#^@#$!!! Who the hell do they think I am?!?!" He yelled. If there was air in space in which sound could travel through, anyone within a square mile could have heard him. Fokkusu glanced at the radar. "It must be that ship!" He yelled. The red dot he was staring at was non other than X's ship. "That b*****d thinks he can do this to me? I will show him!" He then stopped the Shadow Striker and turned it around and sped dangerously fast towards X's ship narrowly dodging the asteroids. An asteroid about the size of the Shadow Striker pops out of nowhere and speeds towards the Shadow Striker. He presses one of the triggers on the joysticks and the front nose weapon fires. A large green disc shoots out and cuts the asteroid clean in half. The laser disc continued to travel before exploding.

Oull emerged from meteo into the open space. Immediately he pushed his engine to it's full extent, speeding back to the planet. "Hey boss, you there? I'm heading back to the hangar, I think I found the relic." He checked it in a digital screen again ebfore turning back to his controls. "And boss, we were looking for some transport relic right?"

Okay, are you listening? Grass grows, Birds fly,((Okay, now I am starting to get mad. Are you reading anything Partydude? You couldn't have found the relic. First, you never entered the heart of Meteo, second, X already has the relic! Third, the com system on my ship is OFF. You can't speak to me. Fourth, use spell check dammit!))

"Screw these blasted rocks, no relic is worth these damages."
Koudo was nagry, he had lsot the owl pilot and now he was taking several hits from small fragments of asteroids. The damages were self repairable, no need to waste any credits on ship repair. This was one big waste of ime, no the other hand, Koudo had met some intresting and some not so intresting people. McKnight was someone who seemed like a good leader, even if this mission failed, joining his team was now a priority for Kouod. Finally he emerged from the Meteo Zone and was set for his hanger back home.

Val had just settled into her bunk when the com crackled to life. Sighing, she sat up, resignedly acknowledging the possibly that she wouldn't get more than a few hours of sleep during the entire mission. "Yes?" she said, with a calm she didn't feel.
The pilot's voice was calmly professional, but under that she thought she detected an edge of definite worry. "You know that message you wanted me to send, Sir? Well McCloud's ship is now pursuing the Wrath of Khan."
Val's eyes shut reflexively, and she was silent for a few seconds as she forced down the urge to let out a loud string of curses. What had she been thinking? Professional courtesy indeed. McClouds were famously impulsive, and it had been a severe lapse in judgment to assume this one would just shrug the loss off and head home.
When she did speak, her tone was one of determined calm. "It doesn't matter." Annoying as it is, she added mentally. "If McCloud takes the relic, we just track him and take it at some later point, just as we were going to do with X. If X wins, nothing's changed." She plumped up her pillow defiantly. "I'm going to sleep."
There was a rush of static that might have been a sigh, but a moment later the pilot replied smartly. "Yes, Sir."
Val snuggled into the blankets, feeling absurdly smug. Damn right.

Beware...Shadow had dozed off for a bit as nothing interesting had happened. He was interrupted by a screeching sound which made him remember that he had tapped Fokkusu's signal: "....AH!!! Those mother@*#^@#$!!! Who the hell do they think I am?!?!" Shadow woke up so fast he hit the ceiling of the cockpit. "Oww..." He had assumed someone had found the relic, and a McCloud wouldn't be too happy about that. He noticed Fokkusu's ship in pursuit of another ship. As it wasn't a StarWing ship and it wasn't Koudo's, Shadow could only assume it was this "X" he'd heard about. Another dot was also found on the radar screen. The Halberd's radar frequency could read for quite a distance, more so than a lot of other ships, because of its enormous size. He had no choice but to ignore the mysterious ship, as a barrage of meteors the size of regular ships were heading straight for the Halberd. Shadow had no choice but to act fast. "This would be so much easier if I had a team..." He quickly pulled a few switches and slammed his hand on a big button. "Fire all artillery!" After launching Shadow found a chance to escape, a path diagonal to his ship in a downward slant allowed him to barely escape a direct hit from the explosion. As he thought he had finally escaped, the sonic boom pushed his ship forward, and fast. Good thing the sound couldn't travel through space, or his bat ears would be history. That was the least of his worries, as he was passing through Corneria's atmosphere at top speed. Shadow didn't panic as a doomed pilot usually would be, but begun to think as he had back in the Meteo Field, if it was even there anymore. ...Metaknight has arrived

Koudo had just landed his ship back into his hangar and had his cermonial hunting armor already dawned to hunt for another meal. Hisarmor was made of bones from his father, it was a tradition carried on in the Gonhor family that a hunter wore their father's bones as armor during a hunt. The same was true of sisters of the Gonhor family, they wore their mother's bones as armor. Each family on Gonhor was allowed two children, one boy and one girl. This was so no sibling had to share their armor with others of the family. Koudo was required only to hunt with his claws, a code of Gonhor for the hunt. Before setting out, something in the sky caught his eye, it was a long ship. Koudo had to blink a few times, but he couldn't mistake it; The ship was McKnight's Halberd.
"Another night without a hunt..."
Koudo ran back to his hangar and after a few minutes came back out with his regular street clothes to see if the ship would crash. In case of damages, Koudo also had brang a medpac and a repair kit. With his garage open and his plains vehicle, the Monoga. It was a standard four wheeled quad, suited for two passengers. Very useful for get aways and land combat if the passanger had a weapon. Koudo activated the Monoga with his index card for the hangar and set off towards where he would have guessed the Halberd would have crashed if McKnight had to do an emergency landing.

his wings folded into their compartments as he entered the atmosphere. His controls shook crazily as he fought to keep the ship steady. "This is why I hate entering planets!" Oull knew very well he was talking to himself but it was that annoying. He caught a glimpse of the halberd, it seemed like it was going to crash. "Yikes, what has that idiot done now?"
He turned back to the controls as he left the atmosphere and his controls stopped shaking. Oull turned back toward the hangar and slowed down as he entered. His wings folded back up and his landing gear popped out, steam hissing from the joints as he touched the ground. "Ahh, at least that's done with." He opened the top of his cockpit and jumped out. "time to see what it was I found."

As the enormous cruiser neared the atmosphere, the pilot, standing in the bridge, flipped on the cloaking shield and after setting the ship into orbit, dashed down to the hangar. From there, he leapt into an abnormally large fighter, a very long and slender ship. It looked fast. The bright lights of the hangar shone on the many angular surfaces of the ship as the pilot sealed the cockpit. The hangar bay doors opened to the vacuum and the ship was launched off a catapult run and out towards the planet as the thrusters picked up.
