Hurt and in a great amount of pain, Natamo lashed out the only way she could - with her kunai in hand. Her whip, long forgotten and probably lost in the swamp, was nowhere near by and she was, at this point, desperate. The thin taming whistle was still between her lips, and she blew into it hard, wanting to blow out any eardrums that the Orochi beast before her might have. She lunged, her left arm limp but her right steady, and she hoped beyond hope that she would be able to do something more than just scratch the stupid thing. She was furious - what sort of clan was the Orochi, raising beasts like this!? Man-like...these must be some experiment gone awry. There was no way the rumors could be true, and still, here she stood before the man-beasts...! Damn!

True to her species, Noburo dove out of the sky and seared a direct line to the big ugly monster, talons stretched out. She gripped the beast's arm with the huge chain and ball thing, stretching it away from Natamo and behind his back. Noburo made sure to twist the arm until she heard a bone snap, then disengaged and flew away, only to return for two more strikes. She attacked the dumb animal's leg, tried to shatter his kneecap by latching on and twisting it as hard as she could. For the third time, the gyrfalcon decided to go out in style and went for the neck. Grabbing hold of the Orochi's scalp, she yanked his entire body backwards, smirking in brutal delight as the thing toppled over backwards. An earth shaking thump resounded when the animal hit the ground, its grating moan truly like a wounded beast. Noburo swerved over to Natamo's side, sneering at the ninja's pathetic battle skills. She'd taken the beast down in three strikes and all without a fancy weapon. Nevertheless, Noburo clicked her claws in the air, motioning for Natamo to help her finish off the Orochi monstrosity.

The smoke and sound of explosions filled the air, and the shinobi fighting at the main gates found themselves victorious. Not because they had defeated their opponents, though the animal tamer and the crazed gyrfalcon had come close, but because their opponents fled. Natamo and Noburo's crazed clawing attacks had driven Rok back - he had even dropped his 'helmet' when he ran off, angered but frightened of the duo. In the same way, Roz's normally inexpressive eyes were wide with shock when the feminine boy managed to defend himself with a strong earth jutsu - and knowing that Sadamoto would probably be injured because of the blasts, the teenage Orochi girl ran away with her bo in hand. Frightened, more frightened of the Shimagakureans than they were of them - like snakes, they had put on a bold front just to intimidate their enemy. It had worked - and then it had backfired. Kane and the rest of the team came out of it, not unscathed, but alive. Yuki, with her skills, healed what injuries she could and gave orders for whomever needed to go to the clinic upon their return. Natamo, with great stubborness, took ownership of Rok's skulls, hefting the giant thing over her shoulder and back and almost regretting it. However, it was her prize - hers and Noburo's. Naru had stood by and 'helped' Yuki, though more he had kept his hands clean and his face intact. The team at the main gates felt the earth shake and the loud roars of Tomoko's explosives, and eagerly awaited the other teams for the return home.

The shinobi of Shimagakure managed to escape the area and rendezvous with the rest of their fellow shinobi, escaping the hazardous area with victory on their shoulders ... though, at what price ...?

[END MISSION: Main Gates]

Deep within the swamps of the Rice Country lies the ruins of the Orochi village. The village was destroyed during the war between Shimagakure. Many lives were lost and the village is barely recognizable since most its trees, stone gates and other architects lie in shambles. The Orochi village is nearly impossible to find if you've never been there before...

Where the main gates used to stand tall, but were now only mere piles of rocks, a small army in the colors of black and green stood idly near the gates. It was a small troupe of ten soldiers and single general who stood off in the distance examining the area while sitting upon his horse. The crowd of men who didn't seem very skilled nor very intelligent, just chatted with one another and continued to complain about the main army from Oda coming to the location. The general himself was not in a very happy mood since they had been order to stand at the front gate of the village and not move in any further to investigate. Already the small army had found several Orochi men and women, which they had sent to Oda to be imprisoned, but nothing had happened since they first arrived at this location over a week and a half ago...

Aya had forgotten just how troublesome it was to trek through the swamps to the Orochi village. Sachiriku and Seshiro had led them through the first time, warning them of certain spots and snakes. Aya tried to remember as best she could to watch out for bogs and quicksand, but that didn't help her keep her shoes clean. The uncomfortable sloshiness in her shoes was an annoyance that she would have to deal with on her own accord. She had been feeling pretty good, knowing that Kana was alright and that the two had bettered themselves for battle thanks to Jonu's training. Aya couldn't get the thought of finding hidden resources within the ground. She really wanted to train more and tie in the technique with an idea she had come up with just recently concerning geysers. The girl really didn't have any special attacking techniques that were handy in battle, so she truly yurned to continue training. Once Ichi was free of his petrified state, Aya would ask for his help.

That was their goal here, was to rescue their sensei and bring him back to the day of light. The only concern that had entered Aya's mind was that his petrified body had been crushed and shattered by the falling trees and debris from the explosions. The thought had never entered her mind until now when they were so close to their goal. The only thing that stood in there way was the small army of soldiers standing at what was once the main gates to the village. Aya stood quietly behind a tree as her blue eyes scanned the area. "There's only ten of them," she said, not noticing the general in the background on his horse.

His arms flailed high above his auburn hair that sprouted from his head, swatting away countless flies and mosquitoes that threatened to prod and poke the young man for the sweet nectar that coursed his vanes. Since Kana had never been to the Orochi village before it seemed to him as though they were just walking in circles since all of the trees looked the same, but he believed in Aya's sense of direction and trekked forth behind his companion. The Kun' Kumo boy felt good, more than good, he felt like he was going to see his long lost father or a friend he hadn't seen in uncountable years passed. Even though he felt this happiness flowing through him he had his own fears of what they would find. His sandals clunked through the mud like they had heavy weights underneath them, splashing contaminated mud and water as he walked. Over the ugliest horizon he had hands down ever seen was the rubbled of the Orochi gates, with Rice country pigs standing guard being watched by their farmer upon his steed. Kana cleared his throat and slightly nodded to the housebound commander. He then silently whispered with little movement of his mouth. "No, there's eleven." Quickly he then added. "See the soldier on the mount." Looking back towards Jonu he waited for a plan of attack. Eleven Rice country savages was a few too many for Aya and Kana to handle by themselves, so he hoped that Jonu had a way of dispatching a few soldier quickly. A small tremble was visible in the young mans shoulders and fingertips as he looked back across the land towards his Sensei's temporary tomb. His pale fingers could almost already feel the cold stone of his peers lifeless body, solidified to the unmercifully chilling stone that haunted Kana's nightmares. The shinobi clenched his fists slowly hesitating for only a moment, almost as if he wanted to feel the comforting cold rock that froze over his heaven and turned it into a hell.

Aya's blue eyes looked to where Kana had pointed out and adrenaline shot up in her body. They were spread out from their leader, so it was the perfect attacking situation. Her adrenaline was picking up as their goal seemed like an easy target. With a huge grin across her face, Aya turned to Kana. "The L.M.F.A.O attack?" she said, anxious to get started and take these poor excuses for soldiers out. She knew her partner would want to do it no other way, so her pale haired head began looking around to the nearest pool. Crouching down against the trunk of the mossy tree, Aya performed the seals for her technique. She knew she could conjure up at least 9 clones, but there was no need to over do herself to face mere guards. Then again, Aya shouldn't underestimate the opponent. She wouldn't make her full potential since she needed to reserve her chakra for those 'just in case' scenarios.

As she finished the last seal, three forms of Aya came out from the water and hid behind their own trees to form a 'U' shape as if they were going to be a hand cupping over the army.

Water Clone Technique [Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu]
This jutsu creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. Like the Shadow Clone Technique, these clones are capable of attacking and using jutsu, but they are easier to defeat because they are only one-fourth of the user's power. Additionally, they can only be controlled within a certain distance of the user. All clones stats are 1/4 of user's.
Cp Cost: 20 per clone
Damage: 25% Normal Damage of user.

Kana could hear Aya say something and it took him a moment to register it in his mind. a grin also appeared across his face as he realized what the girl was talking about. A slight nod came from him as he approved this tactic. "Mhm." He said then added. "Lets get some." In a bit of a sadistic tone towards the Rice country pigs. Quickly he hugged the side of a slightly wet tree trunk, his back scraping against its rough and jagged face. Seeing that Aya had made three clones he thought he would make three as well, in total that would make six clones and two real opponents. It was good psychological warfare though, to make the enemy think that you have more soldiers than actually are present. His clones quickly gathered behind brush and trees as well, waiting for the attack to launch at any moment. "L.M.F.A.O. Attack." He said to Aya with a whisper. Kana didn't know if Jonu knew what the strategy was or not, but he was certain that he could contribute a lot to helping them fight. His multicolored eyes watched the soldiers with viscous intent to tell Kana just the right time to attack. The small heart coursed his Kun' Kumo blood through each small vain, artery, and capillary at a rushed pace as the adrenaline began to kick in. His maroon cloth covered chest puffed in and out rapidly as his breathing began accelerate while the young man lied against the wheathered tree trunk.

Clone Technique [Bunshin no Jutsu]
This technique creates intangible clones of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can usually be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.). You use this technique to confuse your opponent in order to attack them more easily. The seals are ram, snake and tiger.
Cp Cost: 2 per bunshin
Damage: None
Requirements: Must be taught.
Special: If Clone technique is successful you may use sneak attack onto your following attack if it coincides with the technique.

As Aya's bunshins took position, she heard one soldier call out, calling out to her bunshin on the far left. "Crap," Aya whispered under her breath as one clone was caught. She took a deep breath and realized that it was alright that one bunshin was discovered, since it aided the rest of them by causing a distraction. Every soldier had a weapon and had it out and ready. Aya was beginning to believe that appearances weren't everything and there was a chance that these soldiers could be skilled. Turning to Kana and giving him a nod of her head, she let him know that she was ready to move forward. The L.M.F.A.O Attack was something that the two had conjured up one day in training with Ichi. They had practiced it several times, but this was the first time they were using it in actual battle. As the group turned and noticed Kana's clones, Aya could pick out two soldiers that screamed 'raw recruits'. The man with the Jo that was the first one to call out, must've been the most skilled since the majority of the army had joined him and turned at the beginning. Aya would make sure to charge him first.

Pulling out one shuriken, Aya charged out onto the battlefield still slightly veiled from the thick rubble and collapsed trees. This terrain was wonderful for a shinobi to battle in. While the soldiers may have a hard time move around and over the rubble, Aya and Kana would have an easily time hopping from one spot to another and getting the soldiers lost. Throwing her shuriken at the first soldier with the Jo, Aya let her #1 Bunshin rush in with her, hitting the man just after her shuriken hit, as if the shuriken was a stone that lead to a ripple effects of three other attacks. The #1 bunshin hit with the copeira styled in a low fanned technique, causing the soldier to fall to his feet if it hit. Aya would follow up her clone with a high flip that would let her land on the fallen soldier.

Aya's #2 and #3 Bunshin headed towards the soldier standing in front of two others that kept turned towards her #3 bunshin that had caused a distraction. The #2 Bunshin came out of the trees, flanking the second soldier with his aikuchi drawn. The bunshin hit twice with Aya's copeira, two strong acrobatic kicks followed up by Bunshin #3's head on attack. It was a good first wave of attacks on Aya's half. What was so wonderful about the L.M.F.A.O attack was that Aya and Kana would be able to attack with a first wave in attempts to take out at least 1/4 of the soldiers standing before them. So far, so good!

The man was not prepared for an onslaught of attackers from a different angle of the ruins. The shuriken embedded itself with his arm that was holding his Jo so proudly, while another figure came at him with a flaring of attacks. Kana pressed hard against the old tree bark when he heard a distant voice from the soldier, letting his body grasp one last breath of air before making eye contact with the small troop. His eyes reviewed the men one by one, sending messages to his brain as to what skills or weapons one might or might not have and which were the most susceptible to his attacks. Immediately he found his target standing hesitantly off to the side with another man, he was nervously grasping the bow as if he had intentions to attack. A moment before Kana had Aya charged out to the ruble stricken battlefield towards the rice pig that had discovered them, so he figured that he would swiftly flank from the opposite side to surround the weapon flailing hooligans. Fearing a long distance attack the young man and his bunshins swarmed the greenhorns and part of the core group. Being the shifty shinobi that Kana is he displayed his attack as only three people rushing towards the soldiers, so he could take advantage of a sneak attack on the bow wielding newbie. Just before striking range the bunshin group broke apart into two. Two of the bunshins taunting the soldiers near the center (7, 8 ) whilst Kana and a lone bunshin distracted the fear stricken recruits (9, 10).

On his charge towards the man Kana didn't slow down even the slightest so he could gain massive momentum and strike with furious anger into the archers stomach. Surprisingly he popped out from behind his bunshins and lunged with an extended knee towards the belly in hopes to deliver a gut wrenching blow. Swiftly afterward he followed up with a close quarters downward slashing elbow towards the dome of the man, heaving all of his upper and lower body strength into the attack. He may have not been able to attack as many soldiers as his partner but Kana gave his all to deliver the hardest blows he could muster. The bunshins came close enough to be confronted by the men but didn't attack. They only drew their Ninja To's and readied them towards the rice country troops to hopefully delay any defensive maneuvers towards Aya's clones or the real Kana.

The recruit was in a frenzy as he realized that two of the same man were charging at him. His couldn't steady his bow on neither of them as the attack came. "Ah!" the soldier first cried out in frustration. "Gaaaaah!" the man then cried out in utter pain. Bone crushing attacks hit his stomach and then cracked above on his skull. His body slump down to the ground. Was he dead? Was he passed out? Or was he merely slumping down in pain? No other soldiers would be able to tell. The only one that would know would be the shinobi that struck the young man.
