Orika frowned when Karite compared Shisei to Maya. They were nothing alike! But after some thought, she realized that there were some similarities, not that they were similar in any like. "Well, Maya's always had Baki at her side, which helped when she was lonely and didn't fit in with Aya and Kana, those love monkeys. But Shisei is really all alone. The closest people he has to family or even friends are...," she gulped, wide eyed, "You and me! We'll have to start acting more like his family and take him in whether he's mean or not. It's better than not trying to befriend him at all." Oh, right. Karite was talking about how he could sense Shisei by his energy, whatever that meant. Orika had ignored that because it didn't make much sense and who had time to think about things that didn't make sense? But logically, he wouldn't be anywhere else because the villagers would kill him for it. "Shisei! Let's get going! I wanna see our new home," she called out, wondering how many rooms her loud voice could travel across. Orika realized she yelled in Karite's ear and quickly apologized with a dip of her head. Where were they? Oh, yeah! "Nah, don't worry. I think Shinichi-sama gave your jo to Maya. You can train whenever she's around or another adult. Like, I'm gonna ask Hamma-san to make me a club and he better let me use it!" Orika grabbed the empty glass of not water and started swinging it around like an imaginary club. Whack, whack, WHACK! Yeah! "I learned the jutsu! I can train something else while you work on learning that thing. You're close, right? And don't worry. Kore wasn't out as bad as you were. He'll be fine if you're okay," she reassured.

The good thing was that the two metaphorical dead weights were getting along each other. Shisei would have expected that two would not be getting along yet they seemed to be as fine if the battle never happened. Interesting that the two were able to make such a quick bond together. Perhaps death does that. Or was it their will to save the other? It was a unique and somewhat interesting puzzle although the serpent youth was more concerned with his training. As good as it was for companionship to bloom between the two they did not needed to be so loud about it. Their voices were muffled, but the vibrations still easily passed through the door of Shisei’s room. The serpent had gotten the light blue energy just above his waist, but the noise from his peers was ebbing away at what he began. The only thing his ears understood was Orika’s shouting of him to get a move on. This made his energy drop slightly to below his waist. With a sigh Shisei continued to concentrate trying to return his energy to its original position and higher.

See if you can move your charged chakra throughout your body without losing your hold on it. You know you've mastered this exercise when your entire body is tingling.

The Orochi child tried to maintain his concentration, but the chattering became too much of a distraction for the snake child. The three whips of energy that circled around him slowly began to droop and descend to the cold floor like a squid making its last plea of life. The energy slowly withers until the serpent youth opens his to see his energy dissipate. Great. The two were already proving to be a major distraction. With a sigh he picked up what little things he had and opened the door to the world. His mouth lets out another gasp of air, but not out of irritation. This one is from using amount his energy. It was a small amount, but it took a bit out of the snake child. That also shows him he needs to work on his energy level. His gold eyes shift between the two. One who could barely stand and another that couldn’t stand without crutches. Shisei half wondered why one of them couldn’t have slain the other last night. Shaking the thought from his hands he moves slowly across the room to the pair. “I wouldn’t have expected either of you to be awake so soon… let us leave then.” his voice says while his eyes look at the door. Now for the other part of his punishment…. that savage woman.

Karite couldn't help to roll his silver eyes at the usual cold Shisei. One would find it hard to believe that Shisei wasn't already dead to begin with the way he acted. Something about his past made him so cold and Karite wanted to know what it was. Even if he had to pound it into his head pale face with his fist. Standing Karite fought through the pain as he put on his shirt and vest. He knew that was going to leave another scar he would have to live with. Turning to the rather unenthusiastic Shisei he chuckled with repercussions. As the boy gripped his sides he looked at the snake. "Shisei you are in for a world of hurt with Maya. If you push her buttons like you did Sensei or me shes going to ball you up and roast you tail. Baki is no stranger to mess with either so I would keep you tongue still and you attitude in check as a warning. I would rather see you live to fight me again." Turning to Kore the boy picked up his damaged friend and walked out the clinic hoping the others would follow closely.

Shisei sucked his teeth and folded his arms across his chest as the lion handler left with his hurt jungle kitten. “Acting so tough because of that Maya person. Fighting me again may just land him back here in worst condition.” his voice says aloud forgetting that there was another person in the room. The other lead weight that may hold him back. Orika was in the worse condition of them. Karite just left her behind too. The snake youth scratched his head looking back at the hurt farm girl. “Should you really be up in your condition?” his voice asked unconcerned and more so curious. It will be a pain for the next few days that either he or Karite is going to have to aid in supporting the teen’s movements.

"Why are you concerning yourself with me?" Orika asked as she followed Karite, each step coming with its own clackity clack. It would be hell to go through the snow and unless she hurried, she would fall behind the boys. "My legs hurt, but Karite's ribs are barely holding up. I heard Tenko say that the organs are under there are in trouble unless he takes it easy for a while. So yeah, he's acting tough, so what? Did you expect him to be crying?" she said with concern in her voice. Maya was gonna make them go through hell, judging from how pissed off she was last night. When the girl picked her up, Orika had thought Maya was going to break her spine in two! Orika laughed at her own joke and waved for Shisei to get going. She was hiding the fear that Maya and Baki would torture them endlessly for nights and days to come. "Oh, and Shisei," the girl added, her back turned to the pale serpent, "Don't be so sure you'd win against him or me next time. You're only unhurt because we decided to take down the real threats first."

The snake child just stared as his peer hobbled out on her crutches. His eyes not discerning any emotions nor his mouth any words. Shisei unfolded the scarf that he had found in Orika’s living quarters. It didn’t smell of blood, but the stains could still slightly be seen. One of the nurses must have washed it although it could probably go for one more washing to get rid of the rest. He wrapped it around his mouth like before allowing the excess to drag behind his back. The youth followed far behind.

Maya walked into the clinic and called for a nurse, hoping again that Tenko would help her out. Was Kumiko even awake at this time of day? Shaking her head, she waited patiently, looking around and wondering at the same time if Tenko would be able to teach her the chakra healing technique that Aya had learned a while ago. She bit her lip - ugh, chakra...but now that she was clan leader, she had to learn useful things like that because otherwise she would always have to rely on the clinic and on the nurses there. It would be wise if she got a handle on herself and actually was able to heal the minor wounds that would obviously come up - like the mark she had carved into Karite's face. She didn't know if it meant something outside of the Tategami clan, but Shuga had told her that it was an important symbol to the clan, between partners. Well, even if it meant something bad elsewhere, Maya didn't care. Maya was Tategami, and nothing would ever change that.

Tenko popped her head around the corner with a smile, but that quickly faded when she saw Maya. What had the girl gotten into now? "Oh, hello, Maya," she greeted nervously, checking behind the girl to see if she was carrying anymore near dead students. No? Good, or so she thought. "Can I help you with anything? Oh, and before I forget, here's the medicine you asked for. Looks like you're not sick anymore, so I'd save it for later."

Maya ducked her head, moderately embarrassed. Now that she thought about it, did she even have the right training to learn the medical jutsu...? "Ah..Orika got some energy into her and kicked Shisei pretty hard...he's out cold...an' I was wondering if you would be able to try an' teach me that thing Aya knows, using chakra to heal an' stuff..." Maya said in an even voice, a little nervous but mostly worried about Shisei. She didn't know what Tenko's response would be, but chances were that the woman was going to get really sick really fast of having to tend on the same three students over and over because they couldn't keep their hands to themselves long enough to settle anything in a reasonable way.

"Maya!" Tenko cried, backing away from the girl, "You know Orika can't even move her legs, much less kick Shisei hard enough to knock him out." Judging from her reddened cheeks, the nurse thought Maya was lying just to get an excuse to talk to her about learning a jutsu. "I thought you were more honorable than this. I don't think you deserve to learn that jutsu, not until you learn some manners." She was furious, her high pitched voice rising higher and higher the madder she grew. But, Tenko was raised a gentle lady and this fury showed itself only in her knotted brow. With some hesitation, Tenko raised her hand and pointed a scolding finger at the Tategami girl.

Maya snarled at Tenko, but then paused. Was she thinking of another fight ...? Memories flashed and she covered her eyes, shaking her head and muttering, "Gomen, Tenko-san, I made an error. I...was thinking of something else..." Maya hesitated and pulled hard on her hair, feeling some of the strands tear from her scalp as she took a deep breath and tried again. "Orika and Karite started fighting with Shisei again...he really is out cold," she said softly, closing her eyes and leaning against the clinic wall. The energy she has used this morning in yelling at the brats hadn't seemed like much - but to Maya, who never spoke more than she needed to, all that talking had worn her out. She already missed Baki, and she hadn't even been gone an hour yet. Maya, though, bowed her head and acknowledged what Tenko said. "Maybe you're right...I didn't think I had the qualifications to learn it anyway," she mumbled. Maya's eyes were still closed, and she was trying to remember what she had been thinking of that kicking had come so easily into the situation.

"It's alright, dear," Tenko said gently. She wrapped a soft arm around Maya and led her to the door. The nurse had enough medical supplies on her person and she had left some materials down at the grounds. "I can't believe those kids..." Tenko muttered. There had been some rough necks in the first generations, but none of them had gotten into so much trouble in such a short time. "I wonder why they hate each other so much. They need to work on their issues or this will keep happening. I... I'm afraid it may even get really serious." Tenko gulped, hoping Maya got her drift. She led the girl out into the snow and began walking towards the grounds. The nurse smiled sweetly when Maya doubted her ability to learn the healing jutsu. "It's not very challenging. After this mess is sorted out, why don't you come find me and we'll see whether you're qualified?"

Maya kept quiet - she would probably not come back until she could master her chakra the right way. And she didn't know the first thing about anything, STILL could barely read...no, she'd just fetch Tenko anytime the brats hurt each other. She heard what Tenko was saying but none of it registered, and she walked numbly after Tenko, who had already started leading her back to the grounds. Still, Maya couldn't recall what she had been thinking off when she had snapped and talked about kicking...
