Quickness was the key. He had to keep moving. Keep the body running and in motion. Even if it hurt like hell. Both legs sputtered under Shisei like the wheel of a carriage in the mud. After a few seconds the boy was back to his normal running posture trailing after the shadow of his mind. The spring green figment also began to sprint away from the chaser. After the fall the bamboos had dispersed slightly giving more room to run without fear of a dangerous fall. The hard fall and pieces of wood that stuck out from his pants did not deter the young snake from going back for another romp into the denser areas of the forest. The false image continued to run returning to a another part of the forest. Shisei followed closely behind.

Twigs snapped and leaves rustled as Shisei entered back in his mad run. Trying to catch the imaginative foe his eyes glanced ahead trying to absorb as much surface area before him. Back into the wooden statues that prolonged the progress of his training. The young snake slightly arched his body from side to side evading from another harsh contact with bamboo. His mind’s pursuit was quick. Easily avoiding the stray limbs from the vegetation. Seconds apart, they both leap off the ground to avoid a lengthy piece that could have tripped either of them. Seconds later both ducked another overhanging branch that could have made another dangerous clothesline. They kept parrying a hazardous collision until Shisei mashed into a hole in the floor. Because of the quick pace he did not notice it until his foot was already inside. His eyes darted down and forgot about the tree in front of him. First his shoulder smashed into the pole which made the rest of his body bounce back a few inches. The boy managed to keep his stability, but all acceleration came to zero.

Little snake’s temperament was beginning enlarge. His feet could get a good start, but to continue the task was extremely difficult. Shisei hadn’t expected himself to gain so much trouble from this. Golden eyes had readjusted to the area and stopped swirling. The phantom image of Tanu was high above sitting a branch of bamboo. The imp’s back was still turned to the serpent youth not saying or muttering a word. The posture was enough for Shisei to see that she believed to be dominant in this. This brain busting race was far from over, but the boy had to wonder. Where was he going wrong? His eyes always scouted the area. They took in everything as much as possible. Absorbing every little detail. He had forced his eyes to stop blinking by fifty percent. Even when specs of debris came close to his eye lids in mid run they kept open unflinching. So what was the difference? Just what was Shisei missing? Then the artificial Tanu began to snicker. As if it new the answer why. The snake youth dashed to overhead image. His velocity quickly picking up to its maximum speed.

The rapid burst of speed was short lived as the silent child tripped over a hard vine. This made him fall to his elbows while his nostrils collected fragments of leaves. In fervent haste Shisei did not acknowledge anything else around him but the mirage within the branches. In fact a bamboo stalk could have been directly in front of him and Shisei would have run into it. As his glare gazed up to the taunting mirage his serpent eyes slanted a little with his eyebrows beginning to arc lower. The boy was almost impervious to all emotions. Not many could actually rile him up. Yet when it came to a figment of his imagination he could feel that control slipping. Amazing what ones brain his capable of. It could create the most magnificent of dreams or the most malignant of nightmares. Shisei never bothered about dreams or nightmares. As far as he was considered he did not have dreams or nightmares. He just had images in his sleep from time to time. Nothing more. Nothing less. Even the misfortune in the past, even those people. They became nothing more than an occurrence from a time before.

Kore followed Karite all the way to the forest when he began to notice high pitched chirping in his direction. He had tangoed with most of the wild life in this forest. It was more then likely some of them wanted revenge. turning to see what was coming at him he managed to jump off the ground and to the side just in time to see a bird swoop by him. Not even fully into the forest and Kore was under attack. Thinking to himself the little cub decided to wear out this little bird. It would be a challenge of speed. Kore wasn't to worried. The fastest thing on four legs around these parts was Baki and himself.

Karite couldn't help but to laugh at Kore. The little cub was being attacked by a bird. Seeing how well the cub handled himself Karite was not worried. Walking a little deeper he found a clean strip to work on his somersaults. Karite smiled. Leaning forward a little he sprinted his arms going from ear to pocket like a perfect sprinter would do. As he found enough speed he threw his arms straight into the air as his body straitened and his right leg bent. rolling forward with his own momentum Karite hit the ground with his hands and spun. Now facing the opposite direction Karite Landed back on his feet. "That was quite smooth for a rusty fool like myself." Karite said with a chuckle.

Shisei did not return to his feet. His elbows remained in their position holding his body from hugging the dirt. The boy’s mind was still muddled with the question of what was he doing wrong. It was a question that no answer could be grasped at the moment. Meanwhile his mind was still playing the taunting game as the make-believe Tanu continued his snickering. The prone student let his eyes drift close while rising to a vertical base. The black make around his eyes and eyelids made it seem as if there were to miniature black holes in his face. Pale skin made a quick fidget as if being shocked and then the vibrant pupils opened back to the world. The child just gazed up at his make believe enemy. Shisei began to wonder if his created version of Tanu was better than her skills. That would be good, because by the end the boy would definitely be stronger. If the serpent’s version was weaker…. he didn’t want to think of that.

Orika sprinted carefreely into the thicket of bamboo, endless kilometres of sky high poles that would make even an elephant feel insignificant. As such, it would be nigh impossible to find anyone else in the forest unless she knew exactly where they were. There was a trodden path that parted the mass of bamboo stalks down the middle, but Orika doubted the wild boy would stick to any signs of civilization. Good, that wasn't her style either! The girl wandered deeper and deeper into the forest, noticing that less and less light filtered through the further she went. It wasn't easy to get lost on a small island like Shimagakure, but Orika didn't want to waste any time figuring her way out. She found a bamboo plant as thick as her thigh, looking sturdy enough to support a young teenage girl, and hoisted herself onto the stalk with both hands. Her legs wrapped around the base of the supple tree and Orika placed one hand on top of the other until she was gradually climbing.

How strong was Tanu? It didn’t matter. The snake youth would overcome her soon. Instead of blindly running again, the snake child decided to take a seat on the floor and calm his mind. His brain was slowly turning into a condition similar to the sea during a storm. With a small break his mind returned to being as serene as an untouched lake. The figment disappeared for now as Shisei stared up between the bamboo branches which diluted the sunlight. This pattered the serpent’s skin with a mixture of shadow and sunlit spots. Fingers brushed through violet dreads, ejecting all rubbish from the bamboo floor. This would be a good time to return to some appearance of decency. Kami forbid someone see him in such a dusty state. Little did the child reptile know there were others in the forest.

Fingers quickly and softly picked off specs of dust and particles that should not be on the fabric or skin. Even though Shisei knew he was going to get dirt and bamboo splinters all over his being again, he still felt that his body should be clean during his moments of rest. Cleanliness was a very important thing in life. If you couldn’t take care of yourself then you couldn’t be committed too much other things in life. Even in the year of a nomadic lifestyle he still retained a sanitized body, well as much as could be done with no roof over his head. Remembering how quite a few of the inhabitants went around without sandals perplexed him. Footwear was so soft for the feet. Not to mention it protected you from shards of glass and broken bamboo. Yet it seemed to be a custom on the island. Shisei was beginning to wonder if they were crazy or if he were the weird one.

Bamboo...well, he did use it for utensils and such. Bambooware was sturdy after all...not the point. Frowning, Udo put his fingers in his mouth and let off a loud, shrieking and annoying whistle. Anyone in the forest would hear it - and he was depending on them finding the source. He didn't much feel like going to look for little brats in a forest. He propped open his book again, and continued to scan lines. Hm...well, it would be interesting to see just how much they knew too.
~~Planned Activity~~
Udo is reading about Shimagakure's history, and wants to know what you know too. Can you answer the questions?
How It Works: This is a free for all training. Meaning that Udo will ask a question, and whoever rolls the DC gets the point.
There is no set Train amount.
You will keep track of the questions you've gotten right over the total questions asked. EXAMPLE: 2/10, 7/23, 6/6. Failure to do so will result in receiving less exp or skill point. ( # correct / total asked )
No two people can answer the same question. When a question is answered CORRECTLY, wait for the next one.
ALL answers can be found within the guild.
The Exercise: 1d20 + Intelligence Mod DC: 12 + Int Mod Special: Orika will receive +1 to all her rolls because she has been in Shimagakure since it first began as a ninja village.

Once as much dust, dirt and other unwanted specs were free from the child analyzer, Shisei returned to his feet. His mind felt more determined to catch the Tanu shadow. His body crouched and legs took his track runner state. This time he was going to catch the little imp fake. Before his body could make another hazardous sprint a piercing whistle seared through the forest. The snake child stopped all running processes to look back at where the whistle was coming from. It sounded like it was coming from the forest opening. Who would be whistling that loud? Did that person know he was here? If so then how? His mind began to think of the possibilities and only two things could come to mind after a few minutes. Either a teacher was looking for him because class started or maybe someone from the Tenmoki family returned from their mission and was looking for him. Whichever possibility it proved to be Shisei’s thought process was the same. “Damn….”. He was a boy that liked to finish what he started. Being interrupted always made him feel a little sour. Yet his manners would come first and he had to obey his elders. If the snake was lucky though it would be someone trying to call their pet. That was another possibility. His legs slowly moved to origin of the whistle.

Udo heard rustling, and looked up to see if the students had heeded his call. He spotted a body but didn't know who it was - he dropped his gaze to the book and read a line, then closed the pages and held it in one hand over his knee, almost pensive. Hm...
"I wonder if you know that some of the strongest shinobi of the village used to have prices on their heads," he said in a low tone, still mulling that though over himself.

Her muscles tightened with each pull of the hand, but Orika was still going strong even at 5 metres above ground. She couldn't see anyone just yet, but all that meant was that she had to climb even higher. No doubt the girl felt joy at each rush of wind that tottered the stalk, causing the adrenaline to speed through her body like water throughout a desert. It was the greatest feeling in the world, especially since Orika had no worries about falling. The bamboo was strong enough at this height to build multistory houses that could withstand a thousand typhoons, much less just little old her. Orika reached up to pick a stray leaf from her climbing path and was startled by a shrill whistling. Her first thought was that company had arrived to make her day less boring! She slid down the stalk, laughing to herself when she slipped at the bottom and landed flat on her bottom on a bed of leaves. Orika ran towards the direction of the whistle and came out to catch Blondie-san finally beginning his lesson. But why would he take his book all the way out to the forest to teach? Would this be a lesson in poisonous plants? The girl looked around and spotted Shisei approaching the man from the opposite side of the forest. He looked battered and sweaty, as if he spent the entire morning training hard in the forest. She waved casually and ran over to stand by him.

It taken minutes before Shisei could arrive back. He had made a slow jog back. It was only on this relaxed run that the pale student realized just how far into the bamboo area he went. Climbing back up the hill that his form previously leaped from was not very fun. Still, little snake managed to make it back to the area of the whistling. Spitting out a bamboo twig that was collected on the journey uphill, Shisei saw the man from last night. The one with the blond hair who gave him food. Why would he be out here? As serene as the backdrop was, it didn’t feel like a setting fit to eat noodles.
Pushing through bushes white ears picked up a sentence. Something about shinobi having prices on their head. Shisei wondered if that sentence was directed towards him. Immediately an image of the jungle drunk appeared in the boy’s head. She wanted to make a slave out of him… is that what the noodle man meant? Couldn’t be. This person could not be that wicked to sell him off to such a wild woman. Brushing thought away from his mind the boy appeared into the clearing. Just in time to see the barefooted diva running towards him. The smaller student was startled by this. It seemed others did actually train in the forest. His mind would have drifted off to some other tangent, but Shisei had enough control to stay focused on the person before him. “Good morning…” his voice drifted in the air to both Orika and noodle man.
