Ashe held up her hands and backed away. "I don't think it's the best idea to let me near the donkey, don't want risk it kicking me." She then thought about it. "If the tiger doesn't mind, I'll brush him down." She didn't want the donkey to kick her even if Lin said she'll calm the animals down. In her human form a kick from a donkey will leave her sprawling.

Flint tapped his finger on the bar to Luniya's tune. "You're pretty good" he said, grinning.
"Know any real songs? Most people around here like a little entertainment, and mainly it's me and my sea shanties" he said casually.

Luniya stopped humming and smiled cheerfully. "Nah, I don't know any actual real songs. Maybe you could teach me one," she said slightly tilting her head, "or we can just make up a song. That would be way more interesting." she paused and took a look around. "Um, does anyone here happen to play some sort of instrument? I think Flint wants to pleasure us with a song." she said grinning.

Thunder crashed, the rain was pouring quite quickly, and all the tiny cracks in the ceiling of the barn dripped down cold crashing steams of sadness. She was dreaming once again, the same dream as the night before. She awoke and turned her head and let out a sigh of despair. Sitting up she turned her attention to the blackness, and the shadows casted down by the poorly lit streets shining dimly through the entrance of the old barn. She sat up looking across a barrel of hay and picked up her lute. She sat in solitude and played her instrument and began to sing a sad folk song.
“Just because you're better than me
Doesn't mean I'm lazy
Just because I dress like this
Doesn't mean I'm a communist”
She set the lute down and looked through the crack in the wall, peering outwards at the gate, which for some reason still wasn’t guarded. Something must be going on for the guards to not be present at a time like this. She stood up, attaching her lute to her back, and then slowly climbed down a ladder to get to the bottom level of the barn. She approached the door, opening it slowly as thunder crashed again. She turned her head up to the sky and ran through the passage way towards an awning. She crossed her arms across herself, shivering and now quite damp. She walked over towards the gate and started to climb the side of it.
Maybe I’ll find some kind of clue if I look up here.
She got to the top of the wall and looked over at where the guards normally stand. The stench of blood was in the air. Sorrow had known this smell all too well, having helped many injured people in her time, it was almost a sixth sense. She gasped in disgust to see bodies of men, men who had been killed, by someone or something.
She covered her mouth trying not to panic or make too much noise. She slowly backed away as someone on the ground spotted her standing up there. It was simply somewhere where she shouldn’t have poked her head.
“You there? What’s going on? Where are the guards?”
“They’re… dead.”
“Murder? You killed them! Guards!”
“No, it wasn’t me!”
The man on the ground grabbed a rock from the ground and threw it at Sorrow causing her to lose her balance along the slender wall. She tripped and fell off the edge crashing to the cold wet brick street path bellow. She screamed out in pain as guards slowly emerged out of nowhere to apprehend her. She tried to scream out for help but they quickly grabbed her and covered her mouth, tossing a bag over her head and beginning to tie her up. She kicked and screamed but none of that mattered now. She would be imprisoned and put on trial, human trials usually meant death. Fortunate for her, she would not die, but yet be tortured until the pain was so unbearable she would wish she could die.

"Okay then, If you are sure."
She smiled and walked over to the donkey and horse. After she got to them she began brushing the donkey first. It wasn't long until both the donkey and the horse were brushed down and looking alot more beautiful. Lin smiled at the work she did and then stepped back. She was just about to speak when she felt a strange feeling pass through her blood.
Something isn't right. Something dark lurks around near by.
"Hey I'm going for a walk, i'll be back later. Oh and don't worry about the rain. If I get wet I get wet. Well later."
She smiled then waved before walking from the shed and out of the bar door. If Flint wanted to know where she was going, he could easilly ask Ashe. She closed the door behind her and rested a hand on the hilt of her sword. Afterwards she made her way towards where the feeling was coming from. The thunder cracked, the lightning flashed, and the rain poured down on Lin making her soaking wet in no time.
The night was cold, but her eyes adjusted to the darkness quite easilly. She continued to walk, it was only when she saw some dim lights up ahead that she knew the feeling was coming from within the capital city, or at least close to it. Lin walked on and on until eventually she was in an area where the dead bodies of guards were lying on the ground. They were torn up and mangled as if some wild beast had attacked them, and a vicious one at that. The smell of blood stung her nose and she heard screaming from within the city.
"Has an innocent been blamed for the deaths of the gate guards?"
Lin leapt from where she was and landed on the thin wall gracefully. She looked down and saw guards with a person. It looked to be a girl, and the voice was somewhat familliar.
"Hey! Leave that girl alone and look at the guards bodies before you go and blame someone else. They are torn up and mangled as if a large beast attacked them, it is not the work of human hands..."
Lin's voice trailed off and she felt warm breath down the back of her shirt. A cold feeling of dread ran through her body and her skin paled, a strong smell of blood came from the thing behind her.
Damnit, I should have been more careful.
Lin was completely frozen by fear, she hadn't even heard the creature sneak up behind her, and now it was so close that it could easilly rip her into pieces. She eventually snapped out of her fear but it was too late, the beast already swung a huge, black, hairy, clawed paw at her. She managed to stop most of the damage with her weapon but was knocked flying into the ground close to the guards and the girl they had and were tying up. The creature walked around the fence and went through the gate. It was huge, had black fur, large sharp claws, large sharp teeth and a spiked tail. Its eyes glowed a demonic red and an aura of blood seemed to suround it.
Lin cried out in pain once she hit the ground, but quickly got to her hands and her knees with her sword drawn. Blood ran down her back and dripped on the ground. The creature could have easilly killed her in one shot if she hadn't blocked most of the damage. She slowly got to her feet and pain rushed through her back causing her to stumble and fall back to her hands and knees.
"Damnit, I can't give up now. I won't die without a fight."
Every word she spoke required effort and pain was obviously in her voice.
"This is what killed those gate guards" she muttered.
(And now this is our first enemy. And First battle. :3)

A rather large gust of wind shot up from around the person tied up in the bag. The restraints had been shredded and the bag over her head as well had been sliced to pieces. Sorrow stood fully upright and turned to the guards that had tried to imprison her.
“I didn’t want to have to do this!”
Rather large black wings sprouted out of sorrows back and she turned around extending both hands forwards sending a small wave of air out at the two of them knocking them on their backs and knocking them unconscious. The black wings slowly disappeared and faded away into nothing. Sorrow turned around and ran over to Lin and put her hands up against her back, her fingers starting to glow green, he wounds slowly healing over and the blood faded away as well.
“Thanks, you really saved me back there. It looks like this thing is the creature that attacked those guards.“ Said Sorrow giving an optimistic smile.
“I don’t have many offensive spells but I can heal you. I know, my holy magic should be enough to take out this beast.”

Flint, who was tied up in the conversation, vaguely heard the sounds of fighting, but from the look on the girl and the patron's faces, no one heard it.
A voice spoke out from the crowd.
"Aye, Flint, what 'appened to yours, eh?"
"Broken when I got into a scuffle" he explained, leaning back in his chair.
"So you want a song, eh? Hmm..."
"There's a neat little lass, her name is Mari Mac, make no mistake she's the girl I'm gunna track, lots of other fellas tryin' to get her on her back, I'm thinkin' that they'll have to get up early" he started, slightly slow at first.

Ashe finished the tiger soon after Lin left the shed. She the walked over to the door and crossed her arms. The sounds of fighting and the sent of blood waited towards her. Things have just gotten interesting, she thought to herself.
She started towards the sent and wondered what could have caused it. Soon she came up to Lin and Sorrow. "What's going on?" she asked. "What happened?"

Luniya faintly smelled the scent of blood along with sounds of a struggle.Someone has just been killed. She frowned upon the thought as Flint began to sing. She tried to stay as calm as possible as she saw two girls leave leave out the bar. She couldn't be the only one who heard it. She leaned over closer to Flint as she heard a woman's scream. Her ears twitched. "Flint? Did you hear that?" she said in a low whisper.
Without really waiting for an answer she got up and walked to the door. The moment she was out she began running towards the scent of blood hoping it was only one casualty.It was still raining but she didn't really care. Someone had just been killed.
She soon came to quick halt. She arrived at what appeared to be the entrance into the city. She was in utter shock that she saw some huge black beast with ferocious red eyes. Then suddenly the first girl that left the bar went flailing into the air. Some other woman came and seemed like she was healing her with green hands.
She looked around more and was disgusted. What kind of beast was this? The sight almost made her want to vomit. Two guards' bodies were completely disfigured and torn apart. It was an appalling sight. She threw a dagger at the beast. It was a meager attempt to damage it she could think of nothing else to do at the moment. She sprang into a nearby tree hoping the beast couldn't spot her but was doubtful that it didn't see her. She took a deep breath and calmly waited for the beast's next move. The stench of blood was beginning to become overwhelming to her.

"What in the..." Flint said, getting up and slowly following everyone.
Sure enough, signs of a battle where apparent. The he saw that beast. "Luniya, yes, I did hear that" he said after a moment, flipping open his butterfly knife with the flick of a wrist. It was a small thing compared to most human weapons, but he hoped that he could kill, or at least maim, the beast by hitting vital areas.

Lin looked back at Sorrow and nodded.
"You are welcome, and you just save me. Thanks. I don't think just holy magic is going to work on this thing, I've never seen a creature anything like it before. It's very dark hearted, and it's hungry."
When she saw the others arrive she quickly stood up straight and held her sword up. Some kind of white aura, or spell of some kind, leaked from her hands and moved up the hilt and to the blade of the weapon. When it was fully illuminated her hands stopped glowing.
"Looks like we will all have to team up on it!" she called.
She noticed the beast turn to the other girl she saw briefly in the bar. It began moving towards her.
"Look out!" she called.
It was too late though, the beast had started to run towards the girl growling and howling. The noise from the beast was so loud that it started to really hurt Lin's ears.
"Damnit, I can't let it hit her at that speed, she'll be killed in one shot!"
Lin soon took off and ran after the beast, she used some ice to make her movement faster and slid closer and closer to the beast. It heard her coming and quickly turned and slashed towards her.
She only just managed to duck under the swing and got to the beasts chest. She swung the blade and hit the things chest, she fell backwards after the swing. It hardly done any damage, that thing had some sort of unaturally hard skin.
"I wish I knew this earlier, now I haven't time to dodge another attack."
Shortly after she spoke the beast knocked her backwards with a swing of its tail. She stopped the spikes from hitting her with her blade but felt the pressure of the strike. It knocked the wind out of her and she laid on the ground for a while trying to gain back her breath.
What kind of beast is that, it's bloody powerful, and extreamly dangerous.
Her attention quickly went back to the girl the beast was going for earlier, it was leaving the other girl alone now and moving towards Lin. Lin had soon gained back her breath and she stood up holding her weapon at the ready.
"Hey get out the way while I distract this thing! FInd a way to defeat it with the others too!" she called to the other girl.
After this she used ice under herself and began to slide away, she was moving pretty fast and the bait was working, so far.
I wonder how long I can keep this up. At least it will give the others time to discuss what the monsters weak spot might be. This magic usage is making me tired. Hurry up and find its weak spot guys. I better be careful, and not underestimate this thing.
(Weak spot is its eyes by the way. But don't figure that out straight away with your character. Then it would be boring. ^^
Oh and it won't be easy to get that things weak spot, it knows its weakness and will protect it well if at risk.)

Sorrow noticed the beast flinch slightly from the blade sliding it’s broadside. She then noticed the others and realized her new found friends, as very new and unsure to the extent of friendship, were in trouble. She turned quickly and raised her hands in the air, her dark wings began to grow out of her back again, this time blood pouring down her back where the wings had sprouted. She spoke a few words calling forth a blast of holy energy as white beams of light expelled from her fingertips at the beast, striking where the slash of the sword had hit. The beast tumbled back but it was still standing and now seemingly more pissed than ever.
“My holy magic is hitting but there seems to be some kind of barrier around it. It has a very dark aura, we’ll have to find some kind of weak spot.”
She dove out of the way rolling on her back her wings still attached, yet more blood was trickling down her back. She moved just in time as the beast charged past her, in the spot she stood just before moving out of the way.

Flint ran like a midget possessed, diving at the creature, and subsequently behind it. He grabbed a low-hanging tree branch, flipping higher up in the tree. He tossed his knife in the air, quickly pulling out a pair of fingerless gloves and pulling them on, catching the knife just in time. He dove on the neck of the beast, whooping, and then stabbing it where a humans jugular would be...
The small, almost toy-like knife did nothing to it but enrage it. "Aw cra-" was all Flint could manage before being thrown off as it bucked.

Ashe had stood back from the fight, watching the monster as it moved. She saw Flint stab the creature at it's neck and then get sent flying. She ran towards the flying gnome and jumped. She caught him and landed on the creatures head. It bucked and tried to throw them off, but Ashe used it's momentum to jump onto the gates wall. "Do you love the sky that much?" she asked Flint, setting him down.
Turning to Lin, Sorrow and the new girl she yelled down: "I'd get out of the way if I where you." She then jumped down from the wall and changed back to her true form. The beast caught sight of her and howled, lunging toward her with it's claws outstretched before it. She dodged it and lashed out with her tail, hitting it on the neck. "Find it's weak point, I'll distract it," she yelled out to the others. She continued to duck and weave out of the creatures way, leading it away from the town.

"Love the sky, love the sea more" Flint said, quickly turning to face it. "Probably does....think of one thing that is vulnerable, yet hard to get at" he said, ducking behind a tree to think.
