(( Whee summer :,D How has your summer been so far?))
A pleasant smile fashioned itself upon Jaeden's lips as she cast her gaze upward toward the extensive ceiling above,"It's actually not all that bad up there. Atleast it's not always so dark and there are so many more things to do and see up there than here. Although, I will admit, I don't care for faeries that much either, but other than that it really is quite nice." She tossed her gaze to Mikaril and stifled a hushed giggle,"No, my mother wasn't a faerie," She paused for a concise moment," She was a demon, but don't let that word fool you! She was really kind."

((It's been okay so far. No summer vacation, but it's still been nice. X3))
Mikaril shrugged his shoulders and put a little extra effort into his paddling. "I think I'll take your word for it. I don't think anything could ever convince me to go up there. In my profession, dark is best anyway."
His eyes widened and he could not hide the surprise and awe on his face. "A demon? Wow....." He honestly didn't know what else to say. His sister and his mother were fairly well-knowledged in all sorts of demonic rituals, a few involving such an interaction with the summoned, but to have it turn out so well...of course it could have been some other form of conception that he didn't know about, being just a male, and wouldn't that be one hell of a poser? S'cuse me, but were you conceived regularly or as a result of a freaky demonic ritual?
He cleared his throat. "Well, I've never met any demons, but I'm sure she was indeed kind, especially if it was her that raised you."

"Yes, very kind." Jaeden recited in a dreamy voice as she gazed at the glass like water that was licking the sides of the wooden boat. She allowed the tips of her fingers to skim the surface of the cool water for just a momet before resuming her conversation," My time with my family was cut short though." She sighed heavily, she had spoken too much.
Silence fell over the couple once more and nothing but the hushed sloshing of water colliding with the boat could be heard. Suddenly a wave of memory engulfed Jaeden I almost forgot! she shoved her hand into her pocket and with drew the treasure that was wrapped in linen,"Hey, you remember that favor I wanted to ask?" She chimed with a wide grin as she slowly peeled the linen away from the coin and held it up in her hand,"You see this coin here? I found it in Undrek Thoz. It's part of a much larger treasure and I was hoping you would help me find it. If you do, then i'll share the profits with you, fifty fifty. You help me find this treasure and I'll help you find your brother. Sound like a fair deal?" Truth being told, the group that Mikaril's brother was apart of was rumored to be persuing this same treasure. Jaeden wanted to get to it first.
((Hope you don't mind that last bit I tossed in there about Mikaril's brother's group =P ))

Mikaril made a small sound like a 'hmph'. "You're lucky to have even the memories. I'd do almost anything for a good memory...." He started at Jaeden's words and nodded. "Yes, I remember-" His eyes widened and the rest of his words were shoved back into his throat as he saw the coin.
Had he been more familiar with the surface, he would have been able to liken himself to a magpie; true to his profession, he loved shiny things, and the thought of many more such coins lying unguarded somewhere was enough to momentarily shove any thoughts of his brother or his unstable family out of his mind.
He nodded, traces of childlike eagerness apparent. "Yeah! I'll help you, sure!" Suddenly realizing his obvious eagerness, he cleared his throat and smiled. "Yes, I would love to help. I'm not much for combat, but if there's sneaking around to do, I'm your drow."

((Sorry its taken me nearly a month to crawl back here and give you some sort of sign that i'm alive @@; I've been super duper busy and it's just oing to get busier after this up coming weekend. I'll try my best to have a reply to you sometime next week. Really sorry about all of this
