Merlyn shook her head. "I don't get it, the only...oh no!" she said, standing up. "I thought this was the Civil War, but instead, those damn commies want WW2!" she said, her hands slamming on the table.

((LMAO...i haven't heard the word 'commie' in years! sorry...had to say that...))
Angel read over the letter. She was thankful that she was atleast staying on her own side, the side of freedom. "So this is just wonderful..." she sighed, "So what am I supposed to do? Just randomly show up or something?!" She didn't want to go but she knew the government wouldn't be happy if she attempted to draft dodge in the middle of the war.

Isha left the truck and met a policeofficer who took him to the station where he was told that he was supposed to meet all the doctors and nurses being drafted and to make sure that none deserted their duty, he couldn't find a common soldier to do this job, he thought irritably. The officer explained that the doctors and nurses where to come here and any that didn't needed to be tracked down, Isha slammed the door after the officer and sat in the room to wait for the first person. "Bloody waste of my time if you ask me," he growled under his breath.

Angelusia made her way to where the drafts for doctors and nurses were being held. After being escorted to the area she was instructed to wait until called upon. I can't believe I was drafted! I have my duties to my hospital though! she groaned slightly out of annoyance. She supported the soldiers whole heartedly, she just didn't want to have to take place in the war just yet.

Isha had interviewed three doctors and five nurses and he was exhausted, he had given them all their assigned locations and the list was still long. I don't think I can take much more of this, he thought, "NEXT," he yelled savagely through the open door.

Angelusia walked in to the room just after the harsh comand was given. Looks as if he could use more sleep... She thought as she looked the man over quickly. "Hello...um...Sir..." She stated unsure of why she was really even there in the first place. She had noticed that she was one of the youngest and she didn't think that her help was needed too badly.

Isha looked at the young woman in front of him and rubbed his eye before looking to the list, " An..gel..usia," he tried to pronounce her name,"19, single and currently a practicing nurse," he said tiredly," is that correct?"

"Yes, sir." She answered truthfully, "But many call me angel for short, if that makes it any easier..." She wasn't too excited about being in the war now, but she wasn't willing to let those that she cared for down.

"that helps, thanks Angel." Isha said, " you look like you haven't slept all night, please take a seat," he indicated a chair across from him. "do you have any family Angel, my information on you is not complete, lazy a** police can't even do a simple job right." he grumbled under his breath.

"No sir. Both my parents joined the war as a doctor and a nurse several years ago just after I became a nurse. They were both killed." She sighed as she took her seat. I still can't believe I'm here... she groaned. "And no sir, I just got off of work when I came here. I work at a hospital and the patients need continues care where I'm placed."

"I only do it out of respect. And besides, the only reason why I didn't attempt to draft-dodge is because, rest their souls, but my parents would have haunted me to the day I die for it. Plus I want this war to end soon..." She looked at the man infront of her with a worried look. "Have you been checked by a doctor recently? You're showing signs of stressed fatigue. Not good for you really."

"haha, i dont have the time to see a doctor I just got raised to major and if I don't keep up with the other officers i'll go back to captain, and then my superiors are on me to find suitable people for training so i've been forced to stay at the front with only 4 hours of sleep a night for two weeks. Anyway you think a nurse is going to change the outcome of this war, its likely to be going on long after both of us are dead and cold in our graves..." Isha stopped and realized he had been shouting, reaching into his pocket he pulled out a bottle and took two pills from it," sorry, your right i'm very stressed right now and even more fatigued,"Isha took the pills and waited for the burst of energy, he hated using these because of the inevitable crash that followed but felt he needed it right now,"... I haven't even told you who I am, sorry about that I'm major Isha."

Angel suppressed a snicker as she watched the major take the pills. He looks more like an old man taking those things... "No, Major, I don't think I can stop this war, but if the soldiers are taken care of properly when injured, it strengthens our chances of winning. Even if not injured, just as long as someone knows how to take care of people, we may be able to win this war." She was slightly nervous but she had been taught by her parents to never show that weakness.
