A tiny splotch of drool awoke Sirius from his dream. Dammit! It was such a good dream, too. He rolled over, and pulled the hangings from his bed. Moony was still lying down, but Sirius knew he wasn't asleep.
"Morn'." He mumbled, pulling on a clean shirt. Time to start the day.

Lux woke with a start. It felt like she had just closed her eyes. The rest of the beds in the room all had lumps in them. The other girls were clearly still asleep. Lux shrugged off her covers and climbed out of bed. The floor was chilly to her bare feet. She went to her trunk at the foot of her bed and pulled out her uniform.
After she washed and dressed Lux went into the common room. There was no one there. It was a little early to be awake so she curled herself up in a cozy looking armchair by the fire to wait until it was time for breakfest.

Remus heard Sirius's morning greeting and felt relief wash over him; Padfoot wasn't angry with him, or at least not openly so. He aimed to respond with Good morning Sirius, lovely day, isn't it? but all that came out was a muffled "Ugggghhhhh," into his pillow.

Peter added his own sniffle, and then a cough, before rising and pulling his own hangings away. As it always did in the morning, his hair stood out in every possible direction. He rubbed his eyes and yawned like a little kid before finally saying, "Mornin' you two," in his cracked, high-pitched, yes-I-just-woke-up voice.

Remus paused in his minimally conscious coma only to huck a pillow at Sirius. He then groaned at Peter and returned to his minimal consciousness, drooling lazily on his other pillow.

Sirius's face crumpled. Baby...
"Get up, you lazy bum! You've got a girl you should be impressing today!"

Remus groaned once again, his voice cracking as he did so, and placed his pillow on top of his head to block out all light. "No girls...girls are...are yucky...!"

"What about Weeeeennnnnndy?" Sirius cooed, still trying shamelessly to get his friend out of bed.

An odd sort of sound along the lines of "Meeeeeeeh!" rang through the dorm. "Wendy...has cooties...and she flies with that b*****d Peter...no offence Wormtail..." he slurred out sleepily.

Remus sighed into his mattress. Right. Remember he's never read a Muggle book like Peter Pan. "No, Pads, I was making a clever joke that only a muggle or muggle-raised-kid would get." He finally pushed himself out of bed, hair standing up in all directions, and staggered for the bathroom.
He missed.
In his half-sleepwalking state, Remus walked into a wall. And it was there he remained.

"Well, that's not very fair now is i---" Sirius flinched when he hit the wall.

Jen opened her eyes slowly as she awoke. She noticed everyone getting ready around her. Just like always, the last one awake. she thought to herself. She debated whether to actually get up or not, but decided she'd sit up either way. When she sat up, however, she lost balance and fell off her bed. There was a loud THUNK! noise, and Jen laid herself down again on the hard floor. "I am NOT getting up yet." She stated to her dorm mates.

Peter was still a bit bewildered about the random reference to his name - and flying of all things; as if he'd ever gotten a broomstick more than a foot off the ground - when Remus ran himself into a wall. Peter let out a nervous sort of laugh. "A little to the left!" he offered.
