orreso777 Shad0w-Sn0w-W0lf I HATE it when someone hits my instrument, most of the time leaving scratches or dents, and then act like it's nothing.... My poor trumpet did look pretty new for being almost 18 yrs old(aside from the scracthes that the previous owner had put on it)...... Then frickin Danny and Alex act like damn retards and have hit my trumpet so many times that I can't even coun the scratches and dents put in it... I also hate it when someone tries to take my case.... it's not like anything in there, and fyi that only happens when I've taken my trumpet out. I also hate it when someone whos not as good as me tries to tell me how to play my part....i mean HELLO different parts... ^I seem like a real whiner and stuck up snob but I'm not xd certain people just annoy the hell outa me this happens to me 3 times a week, and then also I hate it when... the trombones that sit behind us in the brass section (trumpets then trombones then tubas) play ten octaves to high just to annoy us this brat in the flute section keeps whining to the BD so much that everyone gets in trouble Lol me and my fellow trombone players do that to the trumpets only because they try telling us how to play and how loud it need to be...

Chikyun: Yes to both! Last year I was the only one and even though theres two we always get spilt up gonk Oh Gawd the oushing thing drives me insane cause 99.9 percent of the time I end up braking my reed ause they pushed me into someone/brickwall...

Augh.
1: When the saxes growl into their instruments and do a scale at the same time. GODS THAT'S PAINFUL!
2: When our director isn't there and students get to conduct and they FAIL.
(someone managed to conduct backward today. o_0 I'll never know how that works...)
3: Flutes tuning and/or clarinet squeaks.

When you try to be nice and let people have some slack and they straggle you with it...(Also was a DM)
Or when you have those people who have to many ideas...
Or when you have those that can't explain there ideas and take ten minutes to say it needs to be softer...
Or when you know your right and someone (Especially lower class men) try to tell you your wrong...
Or when people continuously do the wrong thing, play when no one is playing, talk when your trying to say something, or anything else thats simple plain rude and yet "They don't care"
Or my biggest on... When you are so nice to someone there freshmen year and your a very all around pleasant person and they either...
A. Get attached and think your their best friend... and ruin your life
B. Become a total jack a$$ and are a complete snob to you...

I don't know about anyone else, but I hate it when people don't take care of their instruments. The worst part is when they then blame the instrument for sounding bad after they don't practice, and abuse the poor thing.

i hate it when
(1)the BDs don't see talant
(2)A lower classman who didn't tryout got the chair before youth just because she a prep (stupid b***h)
(3)when they make her section leader instead of me because she's pretty and the BDs for some reason hates me
(4)section leaders abuse thier power (especilly that b***h)
(5)when underclassman don't listen because your not section leader(actualy they don't listen to the BDs anyways they told them no playing in the halls i asked them to stop and they said why should we listen to you)
(6)when your first chair having to play 3rd because of the shortage (failures) and the other 1st claims she can't play low

I hate it when people refuce to share stands. My section leader would always have a stand to herself ((we always had the same part)), so when we'd be short I'd have to share one with the girl in third chair, even though we never had the same music.
Fourth chair's constant whining.... durring marching session she's always hurt, durring concert session her horn is always broken, and how she whines that she's not first chair...
How the section leader would have two or three of the best bass clarinets and the rest of us got the leftovers. ((My peg didn't work, had sticking keys, and had a few notes that were always off pitch...))
Being the unofficial section leader, sense the official one is too lazy to do her job. ><

I'm in concert band, so there's, like, a billion percussionists because they think it's an easy A.
Anyway, they think they can screw around and do whatever they want, which really bugs me. Our Band Directer is crackin' down on them, but it still makes me angry.

2. Broken stands. OMGosh, when you raised a stand to where you want it and by the middle of the song you are looking at the ground. every single day... crying
3. cocky band kids who in all honest are not good at all

My band's trumpets, trombones and the lone baritone are sooooooooo bad. Last summer I rented a trumpet for fun and IT IS NOT AS HARD AS IT LOOKS!!!!!!!!
My section is the best. Then again, clarinet is pretty easy.
