"Of course Princess..." He bowed his head, responding to her to request to speak to him about her genin days. As he gazed at the Akukage he couldn't help but admire her beauty. It wasn't necessarily because he hated his appearance, it was more so he wasn't fond of having so many scars that he has gathered over the years.

"You know better than anyone in this country, Princess, I am a man of my word." he remarked, awaiting eagerly for his orders.

The Wave Country....

Though hesitant, Kage answered "No questions Princess."

Kage bowed respectfully to the princess one least time before turning and following his team captain out the door.

"The graveyard in an hour, roger that." Taking advantage of the now opened window he too leaps out, landing upon the roof of a building adjacent to Kira before joining the many other citizens on the streets below.

Upon arrival Kage had given Kira a single wave of the hand, and left her to her conversation with her unseen companion as he approached her. His sunglasses were resting atop his head and his vest was zipped tight.

"I don't suppose you've progressed enough to do long distance travel with your Kekki Genkai?"

"It's not a technique that I've necessarily mastered yet, but I might have some Shadow Release scrolls from one of my past missions. Just give me a sec..." though he was hesitant he rifled through his vest holsters, two of which contained an extra pair of sunglasses. Another had an unmarked scroll, and the last on the left side of vest contained a weapon scroll. Unsnapping the last two proved worthwhile as he forked out two Shadow Release scrolls.

"These should be the ones you want." he said, handing her the scrolls, "I think his name was G the Inferno...he gave me those a few years back so that I could meet up with a genin team that had been under attack by some anti-Kekkei Genkai group. I'll be making sure to practice the technique during this mission, though I do have another technique in mind...."

"Oi..." Kage paused, gazing to the east as whispers of the dead had reached their ears, "keep quiet, we will be leaving in but a moment."

After asking for one of the scrolls back he undoes the thin rope holding it together, unfurling it and placing it upon the cold, dead earth beside their very feet. "Simply open the scroll and place a small portion of chakra into the Shadow Release seal" he follows through with the demonstration, placing his right hand upon the blood seal in the center of the scroll. The area around them soon distorted and everything around them finally inverted in color and twisted into more sinister forms of their prior selves.

Picking up the scroll again, he re-wraps it and places it into his back pocket. "Once we reach our destination, all we have to do is repeat the same exact procedure and we can exit this realm of undeath..."

Kira receives a entertaining smile in response to her creepy country remark. Having been assigned to missions linked to the Hidden Mist so often in his career as a ninja, he simply nodded as the background shifted to the great sea.

"What was G the Inferno like? Well....my first impression of him when I met him during the Chunin exams left me thinking of him as a jerk. He was very assertive, and......." he paused trying to figure out the best way to describe him, "I guess you could say he had an aura about him that left you thinking that he was in a very bad mood. But as I encountered him more and more I could tell that he cared deeply about the Princess, and he was trying to teach me what you must be capable of in order to truly be able to protect the Princess."

His mood then shifted slightly as his brow slightly twitched in frustration. "Yet I still do not understand why he left her. If he is the father of the Akukage's children wouldn't his place still be by her side? I don't wish to think that he simply used her and left for the Akatsuki....." he paused once again, almost hesitant to continue....

Go figure he was under the wrong impression..... "I had heard about the attack, but no one I asked divulged any information regarding casualties...I'll be sure to pay my respect when we return to Onigashima." He hated the fact that he wasn't there during the Akatsuki attacks, he had been assigned to hunt down the remnants of the Anti-Kekkei Genkai group that he had encountered against the chunin team he had defended in the past.

"Kira, do you have any idea what sparked the attack?"

"I think they just really wanted to demonstrate the difference between their power and ours."

Shade seemed to be floating, his usual ghostly white now even more ghostly white. He also seemed to be slightly transparent. He reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a cigarette, it too was ghostly transparent.

"Anyone got a light? OH! You can't light my cigarette, because I'm DEAD!" He floated in silence for a moment longer before speaking again. "Ya, so... I miss being alive."

Kira half-turned and noticed Shade, "Huh... No, I think the object of the lesson was that if you answered the questions right you got resuscitated. Shade decide to play the mute, but lucky for him we're short on people so Izanami-sama let him come along to play Scout for us. If he does better this time we'll probally whip up some kind of resurrection Kinjutsu on 'em."

There is a brief wind that chills you to the core of your being as it blows past. Then as you look around you find yourself in the real world once again on the top of a hill.

There is a small village below you and directly behind you is a pair of graves with an oversized sword sticking out of the right most one as a tombstone.
