Light had to act quickly. Quite literally he had to move himself fast to dodge Barragan's attack. So with his gift of speed, Light blasted himself forward, a sonic boom clapping out in that instant Light pushed away from the ground. At that time Light would grapple his left arm around Inferno and push him away from the kick as well as get out of range himself....but that was only the beginning to Light's counter.
"Throw me! Use the momentum!"
Light barked out to Inferno as he gathered spiritual energy around his blade. When Barragan had made impact with the sword, Light was able to gauge how focused Barragan's energy was. It was simply like feeling someone flick one side of his blade with their finger compared to punching it. He'd obviously feel the force behind it. No special trick to it.
If Inferno acted in short order, he'd be able to launch Light back at Barragan. And if he did, Light would aim the blunt end of Fuuinshin at Barragan. The blade was glowing an ethereal gold. It was obviously still Nnoitra's energy that he was using. As powerful as it was alone, Light would also use the force behind his speed and hopefully Inferno's powerful throw to make up for the power difference, essentially turning Light and his sword into a armor piercing-or this case- energy piercing bullet.
♠ ((I aplogize, I was rushed with this post. Most likely will be my shortest post in this battle. And not using firefox...so my spelling and whatnot is horrible XD))
Inferno was lucky that Light had helped him, he won't have been able to react in time to Barragan's attack. Inferno then grabbed Light, not by the arm ebcause the force that would be used would rip Light's arm right off, it was that powerful. Inferno held Light with both hands on Light's sides and he extended Light back and with everything Inferno had launched light as a speed and momentum that was incridible. The air around Light would break apart instantly. Inferno used so much force, he himself was slammed into the ground, sliding back til he hit the wall. The armor easily protected him. Inferno would get up and think about boasting over, but remembered that everytime he used fire it would hurt whatever Light had fused with the armor protecting him from hatred. Inferno quickly picked up on another idea, he took the piece of floor that he attrached to his armor earlier in the battle and placed it on the floor and hopped on it. he then spun around and kicked the floor with enough power to launched him back towards Light and Barragan, while on this piece of the floor, surffing back into action. He would pull back his arm once again attempting to take a cheap shot.

Barragan's working eye shifted to see how quickly they had reacted and a bit annoyed that he had missed he didn't let it bother him really at all. The giant glowing energy immediatley vanished as he missed his victim. Barragan in less than a few seconds the giant immense light returned and now it was in Barragan's right arm, Barragan was punching with the giant energy placed behind his right arm now. "Zenzei Rouga." The energy now took the form of a giant spear head and it was clearly obvious that this time around it was much more powerful than the kick since it was in his arm, The energy took up more than half of the top level of the Arena and with Light and Inferno moving towards him and it's immense range there was an almost impossible chance that they would either survive or escape undamaged, Barragan was only increasing the force behind such a powerful attack to help eliminate his opponents.

Indeed, it would be nearly impossible to get out of range at the speed Light was going as well. But Light was prepared for the attack.
While Light was rocketing towards Barragan, Fuuinshin started rotating within his hand. The rectangular shaped weapon spun faster and faster, another sonic boom clapped out and the golden energy of Nnoitra's formed into a drill like shape. A the same time, most likely overlapping the sonic boom, a shockwave of immense power exploded from behind him. Inferno would see two of Light's rings fly towards him and land on his chest. They were the ones on the bottom of his shoes and were keeping a portion of his spiritual energy condensed. The same effect was that of The Vaste Lorde's "Limiter Release". Once those rings were off, his spiritual level soared through the roof.
This blast of energy only blasted Light even faster ahead. And what Barragan wouldn't see within the golden drill was that Fuuinshin itself was glowing, laced with Light's own spiritual energy. With a strong focus point of energy and a speed well past the sound barrier, he would continue piercing through Barragan's "Zenzei Rouga" and clash right into Barragan himself with the intent of obliterating his body or at least taking off a limb. Although hit or miss, Light was on a one way course to the other end of the arena. He'd hit the wall either way which would send cracks throughout the wall and make the tower itself shake.
This would all happen so fast that even after piercing through the "Zenzei Rouga" the attack was still heading towards Inferno. But by that time the barrier of corruption energy over his body would have withdrawn and gathered around Light's rings!? Those rings were essentially magnets to Light's spiritual energy. And since the Corruption over Inferno was indeed Light's, they would attract in the energy naturally. Unfortunately that's all that would happen. The effect to channel and regulate spiritual energy was also within those rings but that would be negated by the tower limiter. But Inferno was now free to use his flames. And with all the broken chunks of rubble everywhere, making lava would be rather easy, Light would assume. And Inferno wanted that armor of corruption then he'd simply have to rip the rings off with his bare hands since they had proven to hold up to the intense heat that Inferno was well capable of conjuring.
Barragan had set his stage up so that Inferno and Light could only rely on brute strength. But in this case, Light was using his mind over Barragan's power and Inferno's power over Barragan's mind.

Inferno surfing back into action. Inferno looked up at Barragan, the huge attack of Barragan made Inferno even kinda panic, without his other abilities and whatnot Inferno had no way of protecting himself against an attack of that level. Inferno sliding across the floor shook his head thinking he indeed was going to have some trouble. Suddenly the rings of Light hit Inferno and Inferno had a wicked smile on his face behind his masked armor. Inferno crouched lower and fast as he picked up speed, suddenly the cracks and lines thoughout the armor lid up before a shockwave was released from behind him. Suddenly there was a rocket of fire power, blasting Inferno at incredible speed. Inferno would now grab the front of the floor piece he was surfing on and stomp his foot, launching himself into the air with his floor pieces.
"FIRE ROCKET!" Suddenly Inferno burst into flames, armor and all as he used that fire power to become a rocket himself and shoot up following Light. Light was alot faster but with him going though Barragan's attack, it left an opening, an opening Inferno had no choice to take and risk it all for. He would use those boost from earlier and make sure he caught up. Light would hit the ceiling, Inferno however won't. His floor piece was flung downward, shattering on the impact of hitting the arena floor. Inferno's fire was then out as he was now well out of the attack but free falling to the ground. Inferno was shifting his weight so that he would turn over to see the arena floor, free falling.

Barragan Couldn't help but smile greatly. As Light was "tearing" Through Barragan's attack the rest of the Attack simply disappeared by Barragan's will, Now Light was coming towards Barragan and he remained quiet in the air awaiting for Light and smiled once again. His Hands began to glow an odd color, This time it was glowing a silver color and his body seemed to be wrapped in silver Lining. He placed both hands in front of him and when Light came into contact he would realize that he was stopped, Barragan skid back about 3 feet but no more than that, Even though they were in the air Barragan seemed to have a good foot grip in the air. Barragan was chucjling as he was holding Light back "You think just because you removed some of your rings you even came close to me?!" Barragan let out a loud laughter, which was odd because this was out of his character, Then it was noticed, a small portion of Barragan's white eye had turned black, Not noticble unless you were extremeley close. Barragan noticed Inferno coming his way and smirked. "Deebra Moon." With that Barragan removed one hand from holding back Light and the free hand he had formed an odd Silver Spear like energy into it, He had stabbed it into Light's energy surrounding him and the energy began to transform into a silver color. Now As Inferno came he would realize that coming in contact with The Area around Light and Barragan was only trouble. As Inferno came up assuming he was going to get an opening to attack Barragan a giant explosion happened from him entering the area around them, The Damage was calculate that Inferno would recieve the greatest Damage, Light the Second Greatest, and Barragan the Minimal Amount. Barragan was seen pushed back from the Explosion area smiling as he barely recieved any damage, But the force of the explosion was so great that any barriers would instantly snap under it's pressure and even Inferno's armor would only buffer out a small amount of Damage towards him.

Barragan's move would work out just as planned. There would be a giant explosion and Fuuinshin would be seen flying off into the distance with a crash...and as Barragan moved back to see the damage he had caused, he'd notice that Light was grabbing onto Barragan's wrist! What Barragan had effected was Nnoitra's energy and a small portion of Light's, sparing Light of his own spiritual energy taking the damage. Although he'd still take damage regardless.
Light's body would be smoking but his grip around Barragan's wrist would be firm. He'd gaze up at Barragan with piercing blue eyes that peered over the rim of his sunglasses. This fight was not over yet by any means. So far two rings had been taken off. Granted it wasn't enough to overpower Barragan...but Light had little intention of overpowering him from the start. But now he'd take the very short time he had to recover and glance over to where Inferno should have been. How would Inferno take to Barragan's counter-attack? Either way, Light would have to stay prepared for a follow up which was sure to come.

Inferno was free falling, and had escape the range of Barragan's massive attack only to look over to see Light and Barragan going at it. Suddenly there was a massive explosion. Inferno being in the air had no chance in hell of dodging it however he was use to this kind of thing. he was the type of fighter that would hold his own and stand his ground, not moving unless needed. So he was fine with being stuck in the counter explosion. As the smoke and everything cleared. A small ball of smoke and rumble fell from the explosion. As it cleared it was none other than Inferno, as he would stomp both of his feet on to the ground upon landing, not using any energy but only just his weight and heavy armor. A huge shockwave spread thoughout the entire arena, this wouldn't effect Barragan or Light with them in the air still.
How'd did the explosion not take out Inferno. Inferno was use to explosions, in fact he was capable of creating such level explosions as Barragan did. He was use to it all, and barragan thought his armor wouldn't be able to take in the explosion. Barragan was half right, alone the armor would shattered. Before the explosion reached Inferno, the armor's lines glowed a bright orange. Inferno would use none of his energy but a small thin compressed barrier of spiritual energy would cover the entire body of Inferno. Along with the armor's lines glowing, adding a durable heat barrier held together with the small barrier of spiritual energy. These elements adding to the armor and Inferno's mask would keep him completely safe from harm. Inferno actually used the heat of the explosion to push away the impact of the explosion a little bit.
What gave the spiritual energy if not Inferno? his weapon, remember it wasn't completely useless, it was a living being as well. Therefore having a soul and having it's own source of spiritual energy. Inferno landed as mentioned but his armor was indeed cracked in some spots. These cracks seemed to be great openings to what was inside the armor, Inferno himself. Suddenly as quickly as they appear, they would disappear. How, the limiter of the arena doesn't allow recovery or anything along those lines. There was no recovery, the armor has reserves of lava under neath it to take up the damaged parts of the armor. This was limited of course but for now he was fine. Inferno looked up at Light, seeing that he was taking on barragan alone now. Inferno couldn't fly and was useless in the air.
Inferno was hoping Light could handle Barragan by himself for the moment, for Inferno didn't doubt his partner and comrade. Inferno would think of something, powerful hits and kicks. Everything that him and Light was doing didn't seem to be really effecting Barragan that much. This had to be a weakness that they hadn't discovered yet. Inferno would began to work a puzzle in his head, putting together past experiences and clues, and hoping he could find this "weak spot" of Barragan that hadn't been discovered. However he kept a good eye on light as well, he was prepared to act accordingly if needed.
