Marie looked up from her book, and looked at Lila. She smiled slightly, and reached out her hand to stroke the snake's head. "Hey Lila." She said, and moved her hand back to turn the page. She returned her attention to the book, and swung her legs.

Demetria groaned as she slept, nightmares plagued her for some reason. She was shivering with a cold sweat as her leg tried to kick her awake. It just wasn't working. No matter what she did she couldn't wake up. It was almost as if she was hurting, this wan't normal, especially for her. She normally didn't notice pain, much less feel it in a dream.

'The chairs are to to big for her...' Lila noted to Edward absently. Edward was just exiting the castle as he heard this, but what was he suppose to do about it? If he thought anything back to Lila Maire would also hear it, though that really wouldn't be a bad thing, she'd then just know that he was watching her through Lila and he wasn't sure how she'd feel about that.
Meanwhile, the servant that Edward had grabbed in the hallway not to long ago was finally getting around to tending to Demetria.

Finishing his training for the time being Leon decided it was time to return to the city. Upon getting there Leon is stopped by a old man with a somewhat frightened look on his face. "What's the matter?" he asked raising an eyebrow to the stranger. "Nothing, except the fact that I just saw someone dragging a cow through the city!" the man said waving his arms around. "Is that all? If it would make you feel better i'll check it out." Leon responded looking down at the ground following the red trail. After following for it few minutes Leon found at a castle. "I wonder who lives here? My as well check out why they brought a cow here from the city." he said silently. Pulling the cross chain from his pocket Leon kisses it slightly before knocking on the door of the castle.

The library was close to the door, and since Edward was always trying to keep her from hiding, she decided to open it.
"H-hello?" She asked timidly. She looked at the person in front of her, not knowing how to interact. Damn, she was like that kid from those DVDs the bookseller let her watch... what was it? Star Trek, yeah, that kid Charlie X. Actually she didn't want to be that kid, he was mean.
((Oh... geez... I'm a Trekkie XP ))

Just as Edward was leaving, he passed a stranger he didn't know, and he knew almost every one that lived here by name. So he was a bit curious to say the least and almost turned around to question him but decided against it. If Marie had heard the door and she got it he'd be amazed.

"Um, there was a complaint about a dead cow being dragged through the city." Leon said obviously confused about a girl so young being in a place like this. "Do you anything about that? Who dragged the cow here, or why was the cow dragged to this location out of all places."

Marie sighed. "Yeah, I heard about the cow, some sick prank I think. Don't worry, we're cleaning it up." She smiled at him, thanking whoever gave her the ability to make that up. She didn't even glance at where Edward was. She mentally patted herself on the back for one of the few semi-social moments in her life. Today was a good day for Marie, yup!

Edward heard their words clearly enough, vampiric hearing and all, and the stranger seemed to be asking about a cow. Edward had a sweat drop moment but continued on, if that was a hunter it was better to not be anywhere near him. 'You are my savor.' He mentally said to Marie, thanking her for her quick lie, he didn't even know she could do something so clever!

Marie tried not to grin. 'No problem, I'm actually sort of surprised!' She leaned against the doorway, and looked at the man. "If you want to see it, its in the back." She shuddered. "I got a good look at it." She paled, trying to summon the scariest thing in her thoughts to do it. This was getting hard!

Tears streaked down Nova's face as she relived the night Jacob, her old vampire, was killed. Waking with a start just before the hunter had approached her in the dream, she got up. It was only about an hour later, but she was used to only getting a few hours of sleep. Unable to stop the tears, she simply let them fall, going into the bathroom and turning on the water to take a shower.
Sitting under the water, she let her emotions out. Her tears mixed with the water streaming down her skin, her head resting on her knees as she pulled them close to herself. Though it had been a couple of months since Jacob had been killed, she was still upset. Getting out, she wiped her face of all emotion and got dressed, leaving the house with a book in her hands.

"Do you mind if I see? I'm not associated with the law, it's just that an ordinary person wouldn't have a chance to bring something as heavy as a full grown cow here. Even if it was more that one person, bloody tracks would be all over the place, because they wouldn't be able to stand steady with something so heavy. And a citizen of Cyrodiil told me that it was only one person who dragged the cow here. So I ask again, who broght it here." Leon said observing the trail he had just followed and then turning back to Marie.

Even with how faraway Edward was, he could still hear them slightly. 'Oh ********> he thought to himself. 'Lila!' He called to her mentally.
'I'm going, I'm going, should I bite him? I'll totally do it if you want me to.' Lila said, he could hear her anxiousness and he shook his head.
'No, just look after Maire like I said to do.'

Marie sighed. "Come with me, and if I knew who it was I would've contacted the law, sorry if I was sleeping." She held the door open for him. "But I will show it to you."
'Okay, Edward, what should I do with him?'
