Shandra nodded, "I just meant maybe you're equip to handle electricity, like you can't get shocked. Have you tried before?"
Pausing she watched the girl she was talking to for a moment before speaking back up, "Of course...if you couldn't...well I would guess you wouldn't feel very good."

Becca shrugged.
"No, I haven't tried it," she said. "Nor would I like to."
She paused, looking at the door.
"Er, which way to the dorms from here?" she questioned sheepishly.

Shandra had to think about that question. She retraced her footsteps mentally and then nodded to herself in though.
"Up the large stairs and to the right...those are the girls dorms," she answered before looking to the guy who had been silent a long time, "Right?"

Eyeing the perfectly formed snowball in her gloved hand, Victoria quickly squashed it flat before kneeling to make another one.
"So," she said, possibly a few decibels louder than was nessicary. "About that...are you two up for it?"

Conner had listened to the conversation in silence, feeling that it would be better for the two to get to know each other better without his assistance.
Placing the detritus in the bin, he sat back down at the table and listened until he was asked where the girls dorms were. He nodded.
"Yes they are, most of the students are with their families for the holidays so you'll have to make sure the room you choose is empty." He glanced at his watch. "well this is the end of my break I've got to get back to the hanger." He stood up, chucked his rubbish in the bin and began to leave. "I'll see you girls around." He said and headed for the hanger once more.

Sarah grinned and bounced. "So why don't we get going then?" She asked bouncing at the prospect of pelting some people mercelously with snowballs. She looked at Marie. "Come on you...." She said as she gathered more snow. "So how do we get there...driving looks kinda ugly....." She said looking back to Victoria.

"Oh, yes, driving would be an issue wouldn't it?" Sighing heavily at this revelation, Victoria dropped her gloves full of snow and stood up to think about it. "We could walk, but that would be a way's away, wouldn't it? Maybe...there's something in the garage or, hell, the hanger that a bit more friendly for this type of terrain."

((sorry it's taken so long, weather's been crappy here and I don't get internet in my dorm, so I have to walk to the library...))
Rogue had been just about to respond to Victoria's question, but Sara hit her with the snowball, and called her Marie. Blinking, she turned to her friend and asked, "What's with Marie? My name's Rogue. You know that." Then for good measure, to make sure the girl knew she wasn't angry, she laughed and threw another snowball at her.
She wiped her gloves off on her pants and finally got around to Victoria's question. "Of course I'm up for it. Come on, the Professor keeps snow mobiles in the garage for winter training. We can use those."

Laura ate her sandwich as the others grabbed bowls of soup, and listened to the conversations going on around her. She hoped her teammates that weren't feeling well would be better in time for the mission, whenever that was going to be. She finished her lunch and cleaned up her dishes.
"Well, I'll be back in a bit. I'm off to shower right quick," she said with a parting wave to the others.

"Okay, thanks," Becca said. "Nice to meet you both," she said then watched as Conner departed. Her gaze returned to Shandra, expression curious.
"What hanger is he talking about?" she questioned, puzzled. Was there an airport near here?

Sarah let out a squeek when Rogue hit her with a snowball. "That's your name isn't it? She forgot sometimes that some people prefer their nicknames. "Oh never mind...sorry." She said with a apologetic smile wiping the snow off her. "A Snowmobile...I've never riden one of those before." She said a little nervous. "No snow in Texas you understand.

With a sniff Liz finished her soup. "Thanks Morgan." She said and waved at laura. "Kay. I myself will be lazing on the couch." She had her pillow and a blanket all prepaired so she could snuggle down on the couch and nap the day away.

Shandra smiled, "You're going to love that surprise. Let's just say that living here is not a party all the time. There's a reason why there aren't a lot of students more than the fact that we're all...mutants here."

Blade stared at the snow in front of her as she sat on the park bench. Once more, she had disappeared. The reason was the same as the other reasons. Her parents. She had to send them something to prove to them that she was alive but at the same time make sure they couldn't find her. Since she had wanted to be here, to learn to control her powers, Blade had made sure that there was no way for her to be tracked back to the mansion. So she had to leave for a short period.

Kara closed the front door quickly behind her and practically ripped the beanie off her head. "Friggin hate snow!" She hissed out and shook herself so any snow on her trench coat went all everywhere, including on the girl on the couch. Her violet eyes went wide and her cat-like ears perked slightly. "Crap! I'm sooo sorry. I didn't even see you there man..." She said to the girl on the couch, if she remembered correctly the girls name was Liz.

Liz had been in the process of setting herself up on the couch when Kara shook herself off sending a small blob of snow right down the back of her shirt. "EEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!" She squeeled her skin turning blotchy as the snow slid down her back. "Kara......." She said. "Please....PLEASE shake yourself out in the hallway..." She said plaintively before grabbing a tissue and blowing her nose. "How's the weather out there?" She asked tossing the used tissue into a plastic bag she had next to the couch for just such a use.

"It's snow...it's wet and cold and wet!" She snorted in a very unlady like manner as she gracefully lept up onto the arm of the couch and crouched there comfortably as her tail swung lazily behind her. "I hate snow. I wish it were warm out and not all icky and wet." She made a face and stuck out her tongue in a childish manner. "Are you sick or somethin? Cause if you are chicken soup always works...or was that wong tong soup from them chinese places...crap I can never remember." She moved, turning herself to face Liz and to sit instead of crouch on the arm.
