C'tari's sly smile was not totally lost on the easily distracted healer... she simply did not know what to make of it. Then of course the arrival of the bronze took her breath away. "wow. He is so much larger than Moth."

The addition of Sisao's attention to her oiling of Fellis had her grinning again. "Come on up little one. I'm sure I can oil two of you darlings as easily as one." Casting a glance at Talare she added, "Would you like to help?"

Nodding her head respectfully at the introduction Kyira beamed. "Pleased to make your acquantance." She nodded twice, once for rider & once for his dragon. "The images I was getting from Fellis were so jumbled I wasn't sure how to take them! That she's made such an esteemed friend is amazing." She laughed at Sisao too. "And it doesn't matter which she's more interested in now, she was playing with Fellis long before she could have known I had oil on me."

"Could you really get her to help like that?" Her gaze turned thoughtful & Fellis had to n** Kyira's hand to get her to continue the oiling. Both watched the oiling of Feronamth with keen interest. "I suppose help would be needed in oiling a creature of that size! Would you be needing help?"

((hoping no one minds if Shada and I sneak in here to do a little RP. ^_^...looks like everything's kinda gone quiet in here so...))

In one of the breif interludes of weyrling training, he slipped out along one of the foot paths, carrying a couple of meat pies for himself...and some food for Jaiereth, who pads along behind, eyes whirling in blue-green contentment. It'll be easier to travel far out when Jaiereth is large enough to ride, but for now both of them are pleased with the arangement of walking, and seeing something different while taking a lunch break. After this it will be back to training, but for now they can enjoy the change of scenery.

The dragonling and R'ael both start at once, one with an squall, the other with a short yell, almost dropping the bundles he's carrying as Kahlin drops into his path...almost on top of him. "Shards! Kahlin!" He juggles the meat pie and the food for Jaeireth for a moment as he regains his composure.

If he'd met more people, he might not have remembered the boys name, and even then he'd been guessing by Kahlin's hair color, and could well, he realised, shame faced, have just terrified one of the drudges. "Kahlin?" he asks, finaly sure he's got a good grip on things again, as he blinks at the bushes. "Well I'm asuming if you're not you're going to let me know if I just made a total fool of myself..."

The blue dragonling noses forward curiously, trying to seek out this boy who he knows only by what R'ael can tell him. Shy, pale haired...it does seem to fit...

R'ael offers out a hand to help Kahlin out of the bushes, and a warm grin besides. "R'ael...not much different...and this is Jaiereth." He nods at the blue, who makes a contented sound and draws himself up with pride, eyes whirling. "I came out here as a change of routine to eat some lunch. Want to join us?" He hefts the food he carries with him, for both himself and the dragon. "I'm sure I've got enough for all of us." His own flit circles down to land on his shoulder, eyes whirling with interest, having returned from catching something small and edible, it looks very pleased with itself.

"It's alright, things happen." He chuckles. "What stunt would that be? Going for a walk? Or diving headlong into the bushes?" he reaches up to pluck an stray leaf from Kahlin's hair. "I have a couple meat pies, and some meat for Jaiereth...if there's some left the flits can split it. We just need someplace to sit and eat."

Jaiereth humms to himself the dog sized dragonling eyeing Kahlin.
Is his father unpleasent, Mine?
I...don't know. I haven't met him. he answers hesitantly, still growing accustomed to speaking 'silently' with his dragon.

Rikk chirrs, eyes whirling, settling over R'ale's shoulder. He's already fed, though he'd be willing to compete for a few scraps with Sonia.

He winces slightly as he tromps firmly on a sorepoint with Kahlin and nods. "Sure, sounds great..." He agrees. "Sorry I didn't intend to be rude about everything. So...hm..." He searches for something to talk about. "What have you been doing withyourself? I haven't exactly come up for air much after the impression, and rumor has it the training's just going to get harder with the new Weyrleader in place. "If I don't have someone to talk to I'm going to be a dragon rider who doesn't know anything about anything but dragons." he laughs, earing a polite cuff on the leg from Jaiereth. "Not that thats a bad thing I'm told." He notes, nodding toward the dragonling.

"I don't really know yet, I haven't met the man..." He notes thoughtfuly..."Though i suspect it will be quite a change for the Weyr. What he'd gotten from Jaiereth had been...an interesting mix of emotions, he wasn't sure how to treat it all. "I think it was a bit of a shock for a lot of people that he won, although it was a bronze rider. I wonder what he has in mind to do..." he scratches his head thoughtfuly, undoing the hair tie that keeps part of his hair up in a semi comical ponytail and letting it fall loose. He'll have to tie it all back in the future, he imagines, or cut it, but for now it seems to be alright. "How much do you think it will affect the rest of the Weyr? I mean other than just the Weyrlings and Candidates...speaking of which, are you going to try and stand when the queen has her brood?"
