Hiei's eyes couldn't keep up with his intructor. She was moveing so fast. but how was it possibal without useing the shunshin technique. It was a well known D rank technique so it wasn't surpriseing the boy knew what it was. He turned to gogandates and asked " Sir, whats going on here? " this wasn't to forget about yumi, seince he was still exspecting an anser from her, but he also wanted to know why this women was teleporting around the room for no aparent resone.

Giglamesh would nod at what he said, even though it wassent directed at him. "Correct It most common use is to defend a attack, by replacing your self with another object before one is damaged by the said attack....however if used corectly the kawarmi can be used in my personaly oppnion much better as a offensive technique, it can be used to place your self in better situation for attacking the opponent, while the opponet still remains confused to how one got there or were they came from.........even if the target is looking directly at you when you do it by doing it it set confusion it to what exactly you did, and durring that blind moment a well placed attack is usualy all that is needed." By they way he spoke of it many times he must of used the technique this way and he has asmasses many kills under his belt especialy durring the war byt the use of the technique is this manner.

Tao nodded, the amusing thought of pincushions filling his gleefully sadistic mind. "And we will be learning this particular jutsu today, Sir?" he asked.
The pack beside him settled a bit further. Bits of wire stuck out here and there.

Keiko reappeared on his desk, "Unlike Giglamesh, I'm fine with my first name." She smiled and her temper quickly died, she rubbed his head, "Meh, sorry about the whole water bottle thing...there is apart of me that is still childish, however, take this as a warning, don't piss me off."
Keiko returned to her desk and sat on it, she listened to Giglamesh, her eyes sparkled, "Kawarimi no Jutsu- Replacement Technique, one of the hardest to learn. You will each get your own rock to replace with, and you must complete it 3 times to master it, and you have a week to complete it. (Around 4 days in real life)" She sat back and smiled, "Come up and get your rocks when you think your ready to try to jutsu. Your week starts now."

Tao wasted no time, standing (but not without first grabbing his pack, reducing his height by two inches as he slouched under the weight of what appeared to be an absurd amount of metal parts) and hurrying to the front of the class.
He took his rock, which was roughly the size of his head.
"Interesting... and to think there are schools in this world where we'd merely decorate these things and pretend they were children. Works better with eggs though."
He turned, ignoring his classmates outright as he left the classroom and headed for a clearing outside the school where he might practice.

Hiei near jumped out of his chair heading for the rock. He arived at the front desk with his arms held out for the rock(s). He turned to Yumi. " wanna pactice together? " he asked before turning around and saying " Any Sugestions on how to get started Keiko? " he said, remembering that she wanted to be called by her first name.
Baylonka was right behind him. He waited patencetly for Hiei at his feet. The idea of learning a jutsu was intriging to the wolf and he hoped to pick it up fast.

Tao stared at the rock, as if sizing up an opponent. The road to greatness started somewhere, and in this case it involved a chunk of granite.
He made the hand signs, and mused. "Exactly how difficult could this be?"
"Kawarimi no Jutsu!" (And really, there was no reason to say it out loud. But it sounded quite cool...)

For a moment, the world became a blur. It wasn't quite second nature to slip behind the rock formation just before his rapidly-moving body struck head-on, but it seemed to happen far easier than it should have been.
As he looked back to where he stood previously, he saw what appeared to be himself... but in a moment it disappeared in a puff of smoke, replaced with the stone he'd been handed earlier.
"Well now... first try and its perfect. I really am a genius," he mused.

Eagerly... some might say too eagerly, Tao returned to the rock, patting it on the head as though it were a pet.
"Its adorable to think that you might be the last thing someone sees before their skull is split apart," he said gleefully as he formed the seals once more. This time, he stayed silent... something about shouting a stealth-based jutsu seemed counter-intuitive.

The world became a blur once more, but rapidly returned to more of a static state. And where there had once been open space, there was a face-full of rock and sand. And a little bit of blood. It took Tao a moment to realize that he'd essentially launched himself into the ground. When the momentarily-floating rock landed square on his back, that moment had passed.
"OW!"

To be honest Yumi was more nervous than anything. She wanted to do well in front of her teachers. She hadn't noticed the male as a different gender yet, they were just there. "I guess so." She said in response to Hiei's question. If he was any good at listening to cues in voices he would note the quaking sound in her voice. Yumi stepped out of her desk. She grabbed the rock that they would told would be given to them to use for replacing themselves. She placed it on the ground in front of her and stared at it for a moment. She prepared for the jutsu. Yumi didn't say anything else and was displaying a very focused look on her face.

Frowning at the rock, somewhat confrontationally now, he formed the seals again. No way he was losing to an inanimate collection of minerals.

This time, the blur was replaced by something a bit darker. Pitch black, n fact.
In reality, Tao had only knocked himself out for about 8/10ths of a second. Had his skull been somewhat less dense, the impact of the rock striking him square in the head might have been far more damaging.
"All right..." he muttered, somewhat drowsily. "Five tries then..."

Loki was last to fallow, slinking behind the rest like a shadow. She found her rock and walked around it a few times. She placed her hand on it tapping it a few times. She took a few steps back going into a meditive stait, wich still made her seem somewhat intimidating. She focus on the rock hissing out the name of the jutsu as she span her chakra and formed the needed hand seals (Of which I can not remember at the moment), " Kawarimin no Jutsu." As she closed her eyes she felt herself getting tuged, but found she had moved no where, however she could tell stress had been put on the body. She felt a little weaker then when she had first tryed the jutsu.

shinju was enthralled in the idea of changing into a rock it was actually one of his life long dreams. so as soon as the mention of a rock he quickly got up and tenderly grabbed the rock and stared at it."The colors the textures the smooth yet rough feel of the grains of stone...." Shinji thought beating around the bush until he would finally remember the assignment."Oh thats right i need to kawarimi into this beautiful rock dont i...well gig sama nor that strange child woman told us how to do such a thing so i guess ill just have to figure it out myself now wont i?" Shinju asked himself as he formed his hands into what would seem to be the one required for the kawarimi jutsu." HERE WE GO!" Shinju thought ecstaticly as he focused on replacing with the rock

Shinju felt nothing as he opened an eye and stared at the rock it hadnt moved nor did he move like he was supposed to and then he suddenly blushed at the rock." i was thinking about its beautifulness i wasnt concentrating on my training..im sorry rock~chan ill do better next time." Shinju thought distrought although he shouldnt have felt such a thing everyone fails their first tries at something.
