(That's what I was thinking. 3nodding They look about ready to pass out at any minute anyways, so we can't send them home. They'd fall asleep on the way there. xd )
Lexis' eyes began to grow heavy, and he found himself fighting to keep his eyes open. It was a losing battle though, and soon he found himself conscious but unable to lift his eyes. He tried to find something to say to allow him to regain some consciousness, but was too tired to think of anything. Within a few moments he drifted into a slumber.

Talitha yawned, snuggling deeper into the pile of fluff she thought was her tail, blinking her eyes open slowly in the late morning light. A few song birds chirrupped above her, making her wonder where she was for a moment. Yawning again, she sat up and looked around, remembering the meteor shower after she found that she was curled up on the hill. She was wondering where Lexis had gone to when she turned around to see that the pile of fluff she was still half snuggled against was his tail, not hers. Quickly moving a little ways away, she looked around at the scenery, enjoying the veiw from the hill.
(Just seems a little cliche... Sorry...)

(Yeah, it is...oh well. sweatdrop )
Lexis' eyes opened slowly at the dawn's early rays. He sat up, and looked around. It was morning, and everything looked nice in the sun's gentle beams. The birds were chirping happily, and Talitha was beside him, also looking at the scenery. He woke himself up a bit and said, "Good morning."

(I wanted to do a longer post to start off, but it didn't work out so well and I couldn't think of anything else to write xp )
"Morning!" Talitha replied, hopping to her feet, "I think I'm going to go find breakfast!" Her stomache growled at her in seeming agreement and she looked around for something that might surrender some nourishment.

(That happens to me a lot. I just can't think of details when I need them...)
Lexis stood up as well. "That sounds like an excellent idea! I'm starving," he added, laughing a little. He joined Talitha in the search for food, wondering what they might come up with. After some searching he came upon some bushes that looked like they might have some berries. "Hey, do you think these are edible?" he asked. They were bluish and small, so he was thinking that they might be blueberries...but he wasn't sure.
(Wait, do blueberries even grow in Namiah?)

(Well, it has other berries... So even if they don't have blueberries we can assume it can be some type of edible berry, right?)
"Oh, those look good!" she said, practically drooling over the berries. She sniffed them before cautiously picking one, "What are they? Do you think they're safe to eat?"

(Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. biggrin )
"They do look good, but I don't know what they are. They look sorta safe though." He looked at the berry again. It really didn't look all that poisonous. Weren't the poisonous berries the small, red ones that birds eat?

"Hmmm..." Talitha's stomache growled at her again, "Oh, al right... It wouldn't hurt to just try one would it?" The berries didn't look very harmful, in fact, there wasn't a lot in Namiah that actually was harmful, so she placed her bet on it being safe and bit one off the bush. "Not bad," she said, licking her lips a little.

Lexis picked a berry and placed it in his mouth. It really did taste good, and it really didn't seem likely to be poisonous. Most of the time when a substance is poisonous it tastes strange in some way, or so he heard. "It's good!"

"You think it's safe to eat more?" she asked, plucking a few berries off their stems with her paw. She piled the berries neatly in between them, looking around to see if anything else could be added to their breakfast.

"Most likely," Lexis answered. They seemed safe enough, and if they were poisonous, then likely it wasn't fatal. He looked about to see if there was a pond nearby where they could get some fish.

Talitha found some oranges, bringing them over to the berries and setting them down, watching the sun rise higher into the air. "So, what should we do after breakfast?" she asked, watching him and cutting the oranges into halves with her claws at the same time.
(I hope there are oranges, too... Or some kind of fruit resembling oranges...)

(I'm sure it'll be alright. biggrin )
Lexis thought for a moment. What should they do now? It was too cold to go swimming, they didn't have any music with them, they spent a good part of last night looking at the sky (albeit the night sky), and they went exploring yesterday as well. Smiling, he decided to try for her opinion, "I'm not sure. What would you like to do?"

(Okie)
"Ummm..." Talitha had to think for a long moment, "I don't know..." Her tail tapped the ground while she pondered. "I guess we could just wander around and see if we find anything interesting... If we stay around here long enough we're sure to run into Treasure, she usually comes here in the morning..." she said.

"Wandering around is pretty cool," replied Lexis, nodded some, "It's good for those occasions when there's nothing really happening." Wandering around is also good for thinking, relaxing, and passing time.
