Nereid watched as Tirion tended to Jerico.

"He is such a great leader," she murmered so that only the other cleric could hear her. Grinning when he went straight back to work, despite Tirion's suggestion, she turned back to the ranger before her.

"Tell me if you feel any pain while I stitch this up, okay?" she asked in her typical motherly tone that she used when talking to the injured. The man nodded and she started to stitch up a gaping wound in his leg. He grimacedm as she noted, but other than that, he made no notion of pain.

Dean was watching everything that was within his eye sight when the girl Rena spoke he felt like telling her to be quiet but then relized she understood that by both his and Amos silence.Dean goes and loads a aroow lefts it high up and lets it loose it goes flying higher and further then it should but he launched at a good altitude. The arrow goes into a tree and out comes the other end a man dressed in armor "looks like there scouts are closer then I had though looks over at the others, which means, sense he is the only scout there is just a little group of people following use."

When Tirion had looked upon Jerico's face, it was not his scars that drew her attention, but his eyes. As Jerico walked away she thought, "You can't hide those forever." She shook her head and walked back into the cleric tent. Already it was looking better. Suddenly she realized that she didn't have a tent of her own; she had been so bussy caring for the wounded. She went outside looking for some one who might have a space for her. She came across a young man examining his arm. She saw it was purple and black. "Exuse me!" she said, running up to him, "Please, let me take care of that!" She grabbed his arm and began examining it. His arm was one monster infection, parts had begun to decay. "How long has it been like this! You need to come with me to the cleric tent now." She did not ask him; she simply told him.

Once the bodies had been gathered together on the unlit pyre, Jericho stepped back, bowing his head as he delivered a quiet eulogy for the departed.

"Today, we commission our brothers and sisters to the hereafter; those who raised sword and shield in the defense of our homesteads, farms, and families, without stopping to worry about themselves. A man is defined by the actions he takes in life, a hero is defined by how his acts inspire others; the sacrifices of these brave men and women inspire us to go on, to fight for what they knew, and we still believe, to be the right way in life. We ask that you set places at God's table for us, so that we have a place to dine with you, in heart if not in spirit. Ego trado vos ut memoria, ut vestri phasmatis mos permoveo in ut eternus sileo, tamen vestri informatio quod fides mos se gero in pectus pectoris of victus. May Deus beatus quod servo vos take vos in suus eternus diligo quod intelligendo. Bonus bye, carus amicitia, insquequo nos opportunus iterum. Let us pray."

He fell silent for a few seconds, before slowly bringing his palm up, leveling it at the wagon of corpses. "Purgatio Exustio!" The ball of white flame that shot from his hand struck the cart full on, instantly causing it to erupt into radiant flames. He stood in salute for five minutes, until the wagon had burned so hot that not even ash remained. With the dead consecrated to the gods, Jericho turned and walked away, passing outside of the ring of tents, taking refuge at the base of a tree a quarter mile outside of the camp.

Kaome covered her noes with her cloak to block the sent of burning bodies. She walked back to her tent and sat down to rest. The cleric from earlier walking up to another. "She's going to kill herself if she doesn't stop."

Kali sighed, deciding that it wasnt worth the wait to have her arm bandaged. she took a seat on a hay-bale, noting with numbness the people piling up the bodies of the wounded. from out of the sky ember flapped down, looking at the wound on her arm. she laid her head on the cut and let a few tears fall down. kali smiled as she felt her skin knitting together, becoming nothing more than another thin silver scar.
satisfied her job was done, ember flapped back into the sky. Kali sighed an wandered over to the pyre, where she watched the stand in commander lighting the pyre with magic. she sighed, saluting she place where the cart had stood, then, noting that the commander had left, she also took her leave. she had never had any time for thoughts about death, but in these dark times, it was hard not to.
she wasnt a religious person, but still her mind wandered out of the ordinary frame, into deep, dark thoughts. she continued to wander, lost in thoughts, until she reached the edge of the camp, then noted someone sitting under a tree . she decided that was a pretty good idea, and leant against one just outside the edge of camp, again letting her mind wander.

((Sorry I missed so much guys, I was pretty busy))

Amos saw Dean shoot the arrow, and he also saw what the arrow hit. Scouts. Their presence was already known, so soon. His one good eye flickered over the scene before him, scanning the area for possible threats. The only thing that worried him was one rock perched on a ledge above where they were supposed to camp. It looked like it could fall any minute.

He realized he had been ignoring the others, he looked back at the soldiers, studying them with his unnerving eyes. "Those Scouts have no chance of getting to us, if we stay under the ledge, they won't even be able to see us anymore. The only way down to where we are is that slope there," he pointed," and that would lead them right to us where we could pick them off easily."

He looked at the others,"My eyes aren't as good as they used to be, do any of you see any other possible threats?"Amos raised his hand to his face, running his fingers over the raised scar.

Dean looks around the area scouting it for any problems that could arise "ya it seems good but the only problem is that many of our fighters are hurt and weary." He looks around the area one last time "but I have to say it is probally going to be the best spot we can get plus it could be fun finnally being on the attack against these guys."

Amos grunted his assent to what Dean said. This would be the perfect place for them to camp, for now. They couldn't stay here for too long though, they would soon have to move farther into the mountains where they would be hidden better. Now they were just on the outskirts of the mountains range, deeper in there were nooks and crevices that could hide whole army's, like they needed them to.

"I need to go consult with the General, the rest of you go check it out thoroughly, if we camp there and get our throats slit in our sleep, it'll be on your heads."

Amos mounted Avitus and left the soldiers on that cheery note, heading back to where the clerics tents were set up. That's where the General should be. Besides, he needed some healing by the clerics.

Rena watched as Commander Amos rode off on his horse. She then turned towards Dean and the others and examined the layout in front of them. "If we hide under the ledge, we might be able to hit them with our long range weapons, as the commander suggests, but the distance might be too great from us. I suggest we do that and have our foot soldiers go around and wait, in case we missed anybody. We can then gather back together and scout the area as a group." She paused to gather her thoughts. "Hm.. and the storm will cover all the tracks so if they don't report in, we might be safe if reinforcements show up. Are there any other suggestions?" Rena asked, politely. Rena was anxious to get this all done so that everybody could settle somewhere safe in the mountains; she was feeling exhausted herself from the travel, and the previous battle.

"Ya I got one calim down and take a breather you are wearing your self down stressing over these guys that you will be off know use when they get here." Dean rubs his face then looks over at Rena "the only problem is chances are there army already knows we are here, that scout was part of a group so they know where that arrow came from which means they have probally already sent a person back to inform the rest of the army."

Nereid looked up from her charge to the smell of decaying flesh.

"Ew... you silly thing, why didn't you come sooner?" she asked the man, throwing a quick 'I'm sorry' glance over at Tirion.

"You had better let Tirion look at that, and not complain. You had your chance to come when it wasn't that bad. I honestly can't believe soldiers like you!"

Rena was rubbed the wrong way; she was peeved about how Dean responded to her. She found him rude and although he might not have meant it, that's how she read into what he said.

"If we can clear out this path and get us safely within the mountains, we might be hidden there. At the very least, we might be able to set up a border of protection." She paused. "Which plan do you have in mind, eh?" She asked, slightly irritated.

She actually would rather wait for word from the General, Jericho; she liked the idea of following his lead, since he had earned her respect in the fights before. He had a good head on his shoulder in her opinion.

((I'm back!))

Kenya watched the wagon of dead bodies burn from the shadow of a nearby tent. Tears stung at the back of her eyes, but she dared not let them fall. She wished there was more she could do to help, but she was a magic user, and a tad frail as a result of being kept away from the front lines. And dark magic was only good for killing anyways, there were no good uses for it. It was times like these she would wonder why she had become a shaman in the first place.

Because your brother was a voice in her head reminded her. She clutched her hands over her ears desperatly, not wanting to be reminded of that...

Flux mewed by her side, and rubbed against her leg, trying to soothe his master. She sighed, shaking her head to clear her thoughts, and smiled softly at him. She then picked him up and slid into the clerics tent to see if there was anything she could do. The healers were over-worked as it was.
