Her message was tart, almost bitter as she swam faster, her wings against her body to decrease resistance as she increased her speed. As she did, she thought about her ex-Clan and once friends...Midnight, Stars, and Casey. Unknowingly, she forgot to shield her own thoughts.
"Casey.....I wonder how she is doing," she wondered dryly as she continued to flee. "She's lucky. She's probably not being hunted down by some oh-so-curious magic user that is appearently not going to give up. She's not been outcast. She doesn't have to live in hiding all the time. I envy her."

The young nothlit attempted to put the mouse in his beak. His human mind forced his to spit it out, not swallowing it. He grumbles like a stubborn child. He let his human mind melt away, and he put his trust in the hawk instincts. He gobbled up the mouse. His human mind bubbled up gain, and he started flying in messy circles.

*I hear her thoughts and immediately yell out in thought 'Casey? I met Casey! A master shapeshifter dragon. She trusted me, now why can't you?' I say, having caught up to her, keeping my speed identical to hers.*

"Because she wasn't being hunted by her own freaking Clan, that's why," Typhoon growled, but reluctantly slowed her pace. "But I suppose."
She turned and swam for the tunnel entrance to her home, but at a slower pace.

He stopped flailing around in the air and realised how clear the water was. beautiful, and sparkling. Oh, how fun it would have been to turn dolphin in that water!

Typhoon snorted doubtfully in her mind as she swam up the tunnel, indicating with her tail for him to follow if he wanted to.

Typhoon emerged from the tunnel into the pool of water that connected to her subterranean stream. She padded through the pool, stepped onto the bank, and sat down.
"Well, you've managed to get me to trust you, at least," she growled in her normal hostile defense, letting the water run off her scales like they were duck feathers. "What is it you want?"

The Nothlit sighed, amnd looked at the now setting sun. well, he couldn't go home like this. not that any one would care he was gone. As a Human he was an orphan. He studied shape shifting for fun. now look where it got him. being a dolphin was fun. he would've liked it more if he fell asleep in dolphin form and woke up past the two-hour limit. but then again, he'd ever fly again if that had happened. he liked flyingmore then swimming so maybe this was better. But the hawks cold instincts were less comforting then the fun-loving ones of the dolphin.

"Hm... I'm afraid that in my race to catch up to you, I don't remember. However, it is nice to see a dragon in my domain. I'm Eclipse, a dracomorph, and guardian of the enchanted forest." *I say, changing into dragon form.*

Typhoon showed no signs of surprise as he changed. She didn't look daunted, either, merely staring at him with her burning, narrowed, golden gaze.
"My name is Typhoon, and I only recently came here after being driven out of my Clan. I live here now, in hiding from the Clan that wants my head seperated from my body," she said, still being somewhat hostile.

"Igneous Draco wants my head for this," she said, saying her Clan's name with a snarl of disgust. She lifted her head and looked at the wall. She opened her mouth and roared, and instead of fire, and stream of water shot out. She narrowed her eyes and it turned to ice, covering the wall in a cold, frosty, clear sheet. She turned her head back and stared at him once more.
"That's why," she growled.
