"S-Spiders?" Naruto asked, teeth chattering slightly. He sipped at his tea to warm up further. "Not r-really..." he mumbled, glancing around for a few moments. "Why?" He then added. "Do you have one?"

"O-oh..." Naruto murmured. "That's... cool..." he blinked to Shino. He took another sip of his tea and began zoning out, thinking about what kind of research would have to take place on spiders. He didn't seem to notice the spider crawling onto his head, as his sickness-abused brain seemed to go blank.

Sakura came out of the kitchen again, some regular tea in her hands for both her and Shino. "So, how are you feeling, Narut- EIGH!" She freaked when she saw the spider on the blonds' head, and said blond was startled to the point of splashing his tea into his face, and dropping the cup onto his foot.

Naruto shook his head to say no, as he was leaning down to get the cup, and then he winced. Pulling his hand back, the cup in it, it was noted that the skin was pinkish, instead of the pale peach the rest of him was. He also was getting a little dizzy, and shifted to sit back again as Sakura came out with a towel, having calmed herself, put their teacups on the table, and gone to get said towel.

As Sakura cleaned up the mess on the floor, Naruto blinked at Shino. His face reddened a little as the other male began blowing on his hand, and found it to be quite soothing. Since when did Shino...? he asked himself, not really finishing his sentence. There were so many different endings to it that he couldn't think all of it at once without making himself even more dizzy and confused. However, the only deciding factor was that he liked it, and so he didn't say anything about it.

"I-It... O-only stings s-slightly... now..." Naruto mumbled, still blushing a little. Sakura didn't seem to notice the interaction between the two boys(or, didn't care), and she disappeared into the kitchen with Naruto's cup and the dirty towel. "Naruto, you should probably lay down some more and rest. Getting your fever down doesn't mean your out of the clear, just yet!" she was heard calling from the kitchen.

Naruto watched Shino wander into the bathroom, and then blinked as he came back. "O-Okay..." he mumbled. When he had the cream, he carefully worked the cap off and used some of it on his hand, chewing on his lip a little as he worked it into the burn, and then put the cap back on. He soon shifted back to laying on the couch, and stared up at the ceiling for a few moments, and then his eyes shifted closed and he was asleep.

"Alright! I have to leave in a bit, but I might be here when you get back." Sakura replied to Shino.

When the Aburame returned, Sakura had left, and Naruto was still asleep, seeming to be doing much better. He wasn't sweating much, anymore, though a little bit of his temperature had returned. It seemed to be staying in a certain range, though, and it was low enough that he didn't need another ice-bath. Sakura had put a blanket over him, and so he rested peacefully stretched out on the couch.

Naruto slept for a while, and by the time he woke up, he looked a lot better. His skin was still a bit pale, and he wasn't quite back to the normal hyperactive male, but it was obvious he managed to beat whatever it had been. Shifting on the couch, he made a few noises. A hand reached out, probably feeling for some sort of alarm clock, but hitting the table instead. A confused blond sat up a little bit later, blinking, and looking around the room.
