"We'll leave tomarrow morning. Your lessons will be put on hold until we arrive. Pack light, with warm, but loose clothing. The planet I've been told has not been inhabited by human yet, but does have a native species calling themselves gungans, but they do not live in the plains and hills." Crossing his arms he began down the path. "Still, do not ignore your training, I want you doing the basic Force exercises before bed and the martial arts katas I've shown you in the morning."

((You got to that conclusion fairly quickly, Kaze. Too bad its all for naught.)) As the shuttle docked with her transport and the troopers shuffled off, an officer halted them before they got too far.
"Alright you bunch. Identification check. Lord Sistren believes someone may be trying to sneak onboard."
"Only a fool would try to sneak aboard a Sith Vessel." The trooper with the gunny sack reasoned with a slight gesture. "The security is too tight, especially when one considers the officer corps leading this army. Surely a formality such as seeing Identification for every single lowly trooper is a needlessly time consuming procedure."
The Sith Officer mused on that a bit. "Indeed...only a fool would try to sneak aboard a sith vessel...Very well. Carry on men."
The troopers nodded to their officer and went their separate ways, with the gunny sack toting trooper almost completely ignored. The trooper watched the others go and then made himself scarce, heading for the bridge of the troop ship.

Clad in his jedi robes, Lord Malcom Stryder made his way onto the bridge of his battleship. "So, Admiral Vaklar, are all systems ready to go?"
The Iridonian captain of the Ashla spun from his consol and saluted his commander. "Yes Milord. We are refueled and resupplied. We should have a clear Hyperspace vector within the Hour."
Stryder frowned and shook his head. "The Traffic around this planet is atrocious. Even a priority vessel has to wait for a clear jump point. I cant imagine how long civilians have to wait for."
"Destination, Milord?"
"Ankara. Tett System. I have to meet with my Staff regarding our next moves." Stryder moved past the Admiral to stare out the windows of his dreadnaught and noting with annoyance the millions of ships choaking the starlanes. "Ive a feeling we wont be leaving port as soon as I'd like. We'll probably be delayed."
Something suddenly caught Stryder's attention, and he adjusted his gaze accordingly. Then, a pair of aurek interceptors blitzed their way past the bridge, causing everyone save Stryder to flinch.
Unamused, Stryder detected a notable presence in the Force from one of the fighters. He turned to the Sensor crewman. "Whose fighters are those? Republic?"
The crewman worked his console quickly. "Ours sir. Readings indicate they launched from the Bathurst."
Bathurst...that would make them from the 510th. Naturally that force signature would belong to their commander, Knight Ritt Aereo. "The men are getting restless it seems." he said. " Comm. Tell Commander Aereo and his friend to stop joyriding in government property before they scare someone into shooting them down. Then have him report to the Mission Planning Room onboard the Ashla. I want to have a few words with him."

The Ashla is a rather large ship, but even it can't help but be quickly passed by when you're dealing with fighters moving at full pace. As usual, the completely crimson fighter was in the lead, followed closely by the blue striped wingman. They quickly broke off and zoomed by the skyhook, dangerously close, weaving through the various obstacles which jutted out from the surface. Good fun, but like most things, it'd have to come to an end.
"This is the Ashla to Commander Aareo. By Direct order of Commander Stryder, you are to cease all flight operations immediately and report to the mission planning room onboard the Ashla," the comm sparked.
"Seems you caught his attention," the pilot of the blue craft reported. It wasn't exactly a subtle observation though. Civilians would wind up getting rather perterbed by the sight sooner or later.
"Eh, perhaps you're right. As interesting as the court martial could be, the last thing the Republic needs is more chaos in the ranks," Ritt replied, banking the craft back towards the Ashla's hangar. "Get the men prepped for departure. Tett won't be too far away, and we need to be back on our guard."
Within 25 minutes, the hangar had prepped for the additional fighter, and Ritt had reclothed into formal attire, with the exception of the lightsaber on his hip and the blindfold over his eyes, as he marched to the MPR.

Aurora fallowed after her master as he walked down the path, two of her strides to match his one as she listened to his instructions. Thinking of what few thing she had to pack, like most other padawan what she had was what was provided for her from the Order it’s self. Packing for the trip would not take very long, she was more intrigued about the destination and made mental note to stop by the library and find what information she could. With only the name of the indigenes species to go off of she wondered if she would find anything on the place at all. “Yes Master,” She smiled. “I won’t ignore my training and I will be ready to leave in the morning.” She said looking up at him. Then turning her gaze to the ground to hide her eyes behind her bangs. “Master Gohgei,” she began hesitantly. “I’m sorry about earlier in the training room. I didn’t mean to disobey you and cause any trouble between Lord Stryder and yourself.”

In the MPR, Stryder was compiling notes and information on the computer terminal. Sensing Ritt's arrival, he stood and bade the knight to enter. "Greetings, Knight Aareo. Though given your actions recently perhaps Padawan Aareo would be a better title." Stryder said sternly. "Care to explain to me why you felt the need to engage in an unscheduled space show around my ship?"

"I doubt any excuse I give will be seen as anything other than arrogant, but I would imagine you more than understand the notion of morale. Not everyone in the Republic is as disciplined as the Jedi Order, and without any real missions to test their skills, the squadron has become restless. I'm not the greatest leader out there, Master. My ignorance is partly to blame, so I fully accept any demotion back to padawan which you may wish to instill for this lapse in judgement. My weakness embarassed you, and I apologize," Ritt retorted, giving a small bow.
"I also apologize for breaking the chain of command. In the military, a subordinate never complains to his superior. Is there more you wish to discuss? I seemed to have disrupted the hangar crew trying to make room for my fighter on such short notice, and by the formation of the fleet, it seems we're departing as quickly as possible. I doubt the Captain of the Bathurst is going to enjoy my explaination for my insubordination."

"I am not your, nor anyone's master, Ritt." Stryder said. "I am your commandng officer. And had I simply wanted to give you a tongue lashing, I could have saved the hanger crew the trouble and yelled at you over the comn. Now be seated. This fleet isnt moving for some time yet." Stryder punched a few buttons on his consol and the computer hummed with activity. "Now how aware are you of the Bothen Salient?"

"Let us assume that I know nothing so that we are absolutely clear on every detail," Ritt replied. He thumbed his lightsaber, a sign of anxiety and itchiness to get back behind the stick. Still, he tried his hardest to relieve his emotion by breathing deeply. Sitting down, he added, "Something tells me that I'm going to need some asprin by the end of it though."

((See Bottom Right Image of Galactic Map))
Projecting a Hologram of the known Galaxy, Stryder gestured to an area in particular. "Coreward of Bothan Space is a large Salient, a bulge in Sith controlled territory that reaches almost into the Expansion region. If the Sith got enough focus, they could use this Salient as a jump off point to push further coreward, splitting us off from the Teraab Sector and allowing the Sith to snatch up even more of the Mid Rim. That Salient must be pinched out if we ever plan on taking Bothan Space."

"Forgive my short patience, Master Stryder, but can we please get to the point?" Ritt replied, taking a deep breath.
"So we pinch the sector. How? I have a feeling this is more than just knocking on the door with the guns of the Ashla and asking them to politely be vaporized."

"I was getting to that, Youngling." Stryder said calmly. "You need to understand the whole picture. Therefore you can better appreciate your part in it, as all jedi should." Stryder cued up another scene, depicting a Spacestation resembling a long bolt with a nut fastened halfway up its length.
"This is your objective: Galli Station. Its located on the Tett side of the Sailent on a Hyperspace nav point. It used to be a trading station before the Sith occupied it 50 years ago. Now its a checkpoint and watchtower for Republic activity."
"Your mission is to escort and protect the detachment going to take the station. Once at Tett, you will rendevous with the Hammerheads Novo and Grath. The Novo is carrying the 34th Bomber Squadron, who will be attacking the station with precission bombing of the shields and guns as well as engaging any patrol ships that might be around. The Grath is loaded with Marines who will be forcibly taking the station. We've identified a pair of Sith Corvettes that regularly patrol the space around Galli, and the station itself has Sith Fighters to defend itself, as well as 4 turbolaser cannons. Intell has estimated two squadrons worth of bandits guard the station. Questions?"

"What do you want the rest of the squadron to do? Two corvettes and two squadrons seems pretty weak for a frontline post. Especially in an area as strategically important as that. What about those reports of remote fighters I keep hearing about? Anything at all vaguely interesting to a bunch of adrenaline junkies that I could use to motivate them, rather than the old 'its your duty' speech?" Ritt asked, slightly annoyed at the lack of excitement it was bound to bring.
"Something else bothers me. What are you planning to use this derelict for after you nab it? If the sith don't even give a hoot about defending it properly, their loss, but its not like they won't notice our straightforward advance and mobilize accordingly."

"The Sith empire isnt as united as you might think, Youngling." Stryder explained. "Though they present a face of strength and power, they are led by paranoid, greedy souls who care more for themselves than any higher ideal. Their inability to cooperate and inability to stop fighting with one another has provided numerous holes in their defence. Galli station used to be formidable, but the defense fleet there has been scaled back severely, their ships sent to more active sectors or recalled to defend the holds of their varried masters."
"However," He added, "dont let its lack of visible strength fool you. If hard numbers were all that determined wars, we would no longer have a Republic would we? Now, we have reason to believe that Galli Station is guarded and controlled by a small of Sith, numbering no more than four. Two would most certainly be heading the starfighter groups with the other two protecting the station interior."
Stryder adjusted the holoprojector to zoom out and view the salient as a whole. "As to your second question, you said it yourself that the Sith will mobilize once they see what route we plan to take. Infact, I want them to see it, to believe we are going to use Galli station as our jump off point."

The mentioning of sith combatants made this a wholly different situation. The fire had lit in the non-existant eyes of the miraluka.
"That's more like it!" He ejaculated, fist in the air. "Maybe there might be some enjoyment afterall. But may I ask, who's going to help the marines inside the station? You surely have someone in mind to help those poor souls out. I mean, you haven't underestimated the sith by thinking they're incompetant now, have you? I'd hate to have to fight inside the station. Close spaces aren't my forte."
