Up in the ravenclaw tower lies fourtysecondscarf. Too Tierd to do anything, she lies in a lethargic heap in the corner.
A "do not disturb" sign is sitting on head.

Peeking her head awkwardly around the corner she stares into the apparently empty Great Hall. She gasps quietly to herself. "Have I missed it? I cant believe I missed it!"

Humming "I could have Danced all Night" (she's going through a Broadway musical phase), LHH peers in, and right on cue, a house elf appears with a tray of nibblets and some pumpkin juice. Nice to be human again.
Yep, ballroom is open. I didn't anticipate it being a refuge from battle.
Vampires and Humans welcome here. I did make arrangements for the prefects bathrooms to be available and open to soak battle-weary bruises and exhausted healers. Couldn't get around all the rules though, no sky clad, ya have to wear bathing suit or other suitables.
: biggrin rinks her pumpkin juice, nibbles a chocolate frog. Well, back out to heal.
I got my bat, and now in penance I'm out healing humans.
See ya later-- gonna soak first, then go heal and await the Orb Hunt winners! (see first post in this thread, just expanded first clue a trifle). What a Halloween!

Stops halfway up the stairs when she hears voices and races back into the Hall, gleaming at the fact that so many of the students know how to party just as hard as Neville.
Joins in the Thriller dance that has just erupted. SKPartyGal sure can do the claw thing. ^_^

plodding down the stairs, scarf flops into one of the many large, plush blue chairs around the ravenclaw fireplace. Groaning, she grabs a tissue out of a nearby box and fills it with snot from her abnormally full-of-snot nose.
"I hate being sick.."
the use of her vocals brings fourth a fit of coughing, leaving her throat feeling scratched and bare.
"nnngggg!!!"

*Walks along the hallway towards the great hall.*
*yawns*
Merlin, that bloody essay was horrible!
*stretches*
I cant believe snape actually made us write all those!

Yawning and stretching, LHH pauses outside Ravenclaw tower. The eagle doorknob lifts its beak and says "How do you know the universe exists?" LHH gives a tired giggle, and says "An internal certainty is always a pleasure to verify in consultation with other beings' observations." The eagle mumbles "Unscientific, but true," and swings open the door. Accompanied by a wide eyed, formerly carnivorous bat flying quietly by her shoulder, LHH roots around until she finds fourtysecond scarf sunken deeply in a great blue "pouf" of a chair and hidden by copious amounts of used tissues. LHH hands fourtysecondscarf a Pepper-Up potion and a mammoth dosage of vitamin C, waves her wand and vanishes the myriad snot tissues pyramiding around her. She waves her wand again and transforms the many cleverly carved pumpkins still adorning Ravenclaw Common room into several pictures which she adds to a tome labeled "Halloween 2007 at Haven", and leaves Ravenclaw Tower. She pauses outside the castle's Library and peers at the moving pictures (several with deliberately blurred areas). Giving a satisfied smile, she drops the tome off at the Library's History section, and proceeds to the Great Hall.
She unstupefys -x-blue-rebel-goddess-x- who was frozen at the corner entrance to the Great Hall, and waves her wand, dismissed the still enthusiastically playing music of Michael Jackson. SuperKoolPartyGal101 and watarrmelonz, who were still popping and moonwalking happily to the music, along with several dozen mezmerized house elves, are sent back to their individual Common rooms. The remaining house elves yawn and look up at her and several hertasi scurry over carrying juice and nibblets.
She thanks the house elves, bows and appreciates the visting hertasi, and hands them a Portkey to take them back to their Vales, in exchange for the tray of snacks.
She bows again to the Hall, vanishes the few remaining strands of orange and black ribbons, and says "I now declare the Halloween Ball of 2007 over."
The Hall sighs, 4 house tables and the head table appears. LHH sips some pomegranate juice, then waves her wand and transforms the Halloween goodies into sedate wintry baskets of apples and candied walnuts which multiply and arrange themselves with mathematical precision along the tables. LHH whispers to the Hall "Great job! Plans are now being formed for the Yule Ball." And in the way that only the Great Hall can, it smiles....
