She lifted her hand slowly, shaking her head. "Say no more..." The female could relate, her hand falling as a light smile rose. "Why dont you stay at HQ? There are plenty of rooms, foods free, beds free, water and...electricity...free." Scary advancement in technology. "And you can easily reach us, just as we can reach you in case something happens. Besides..." She looked at the pink girl, giving her a wink. "Zana wants you to stay, don't you?" Maybe if she- eek ... redface She seemed to shrink in on herself slightly, a faint sound of protest escaping her. "ma..." Her eyes slipped back to their aqua, though more green then blue. She chuckled softly. "Strictly safety wise of course.

He started to smile alittle, but it quickly went away and replaced with worry "I don't know if I should, Moon could attack..." He wanted to say yes so bad, finally feeling like there was a place here for him and someone to stand by his side. Why did Moon have to ruin everything for him

"And you will not be alone." She finished for him gently. After so many pae she had developed a sort of maternal side to her. She couldn't just let him sleep outside in the cold wind. "No matter how you look at it...three is a lot better then one." Slowly, very slowly, Zana nodded, taking in strength from her mother figure. "Even if I can't do much." She spoke softly, looking up at him through her brush of pink hair. She wasn't a fighter, but she'd be there.

"Zana...thank you" He smiled and looked at her "Okay I'll stay, but I'm really sorry and will take all responsibility for any damage Moon causes" He looked down at his feet, acting like he hoped to see a shadow there, but still nothing. He looked back up and streched his arms, with his wings coming off around him as he did "Thank for your hospitality, I am blessed to have met someone like Zana and you" He bowed again and really did enjoy having a place to call home now.

She clapped her hands happily, nodding. "Then its decided! Lets celebrate the arrival of a new neighbor with fresh baked cookies?" She deeply blushed, nodding shyly to Shadow. What was 'blessed?' her eyes snapped to tartara. "but...the time ma..." stare "You kept me up; worried sick about you. Cookies sound good to me."

"Cookies?" It took him awhile to remember there was food in this world "Oh right food, I guess after training in the shadow world so long you forget about that kind of thing sweatdrop " It was true though, in the shadow world he didn't eat or sleep, the strange place had that kind affect on those who were in it. What was even odder it never spent anytime in the real world. He could be gone for years in the shadow world and only a second in the real world. It was quite a good place to train, expecially for him. The only danger was the energy cost. Those who lose all their energy were changed into shadows and could never return, it was a big risk, but he still had to train his powers there.

She stared at the boy slightly, blankly. Who could forget about food? All her pae seemed to be gluttonus besides Niday, Zana, Amara and Raken. And Yuki, the poor thing. "All the more reason to go. Zana? How about you go take Shadow to the kitchen and start them up? I believe there is some box mix on the upper right hand cabnet for Chocolate Chip. I have to check on Erylia." With that, she slipped back into her room. She stared. At both of them. Here their lives were in mortal peril, and tartara could only think about...chocolate chip cookies? She sighed before blinking rapidly. "But ma-" Too late. The door shut. Slowly she looked at shadow, blushing. "...Younger sister." The demonic explained before slowly moving down the hall towards the kitchen. Why did she have the nagging suspition that her mother was not going to be returning this night?

"You're mother seems like a strong person" He smiled and walked behind her "Uh, sorry I got all of you involved in this" He lowered hishead slowly, still regreting this was the reason the two had met. He sighed and tried to forget about for at least this night. Tomorrow he would go back into the shadow world and train again, hopefully redeeming his his shadow.

She paused slightly before nodding, a hand reaching up to tuck some pink hair behind her ear. Her mom wasn't the best, with her always dropping her kids off at Rakens. But...she wasn't that bad. The girl then glanced at him, just a second, before returning infront, blushing. "Its...its okay..." She blushed a bit deeper, her hand now rubbing her opposite arm. "It'll work out...things always work out at the end." She stepped into the kitchen

"Yes, that I hope" He entered as well and looked around. His stomach still didn't feel hungry for some reason, maybe it fell asleep after never being used after so long. He yawned and rubbed his eyes, feeling sleepy all of a sudden and drained "I guess I have to get use to holding my energy back wqhile in this world, don't think I'll turn into a shadow if I do" He alughed alittle and yawned again, still feeling drained and weak from using all that energy to hold off Moon, he guessed it was finally hitting him and hard.

She lifted onto her tip toes by a cabnet and pulled out the box before glancing at the male again, surprised. Sleepy? Already? Well...she had taken a nap... "...you can go to sleep...I can explain it to my mother." Zana spoke softly, slowly lowering onto the balls of her feet again. Which was completely fine with her.

"No, I'll be fine, just adjust to this time zone again" He strenched his wings and kept his eyes open as much as he could. He waved his tail around and waited for something to finally eat, he just had to hope he wouldn't get sick for not eating so long. He looked at her silently and sat on a chair "Zana, you are strong, don't let our fears hold you back, I did..." He didn't want her to end up like him, alone, distrusting everyone, only depnding on yourself. Those were the reasons he almost did become a shadow again. It was cold feeling and the shadows were the only path from that chilly isloation.

"You sure?" Her fingers slid over the box. So close to running to the quiet saftey of her room. At the next part though, she was instantly set into motion again, pulling out a bowl, eggs, measuring cup and oil. "I am fine...really."

"If that is what you believe then I will agree" He sighed and moved his hair out of his eyes and then watched her quietly. His stomach started to growl now, seems like it finally realized it was finally getting some food to digest. He had pretty much lived like a shadow in that world, it was nice to finally be back and return to his home

Exhaling a breath she didn't know she had held, Zana continued her cookie preparation. She wasn't particularly bad at cooking, just not particularly good either. She could make anything in a box. Thats it. And eggs. She pulled out the milk, measuring spoon and a regular spoon to stir with. Normally around now she would start to hum a tune. But the thought of doing so with shadow around...put the thought right out of her head. Her fingers curled on the cardboard top. "um...do...do you...want to help?" She spoke quietly. It was always quiet though, wasn't it? The instant the words left her lips she wished them back, feeling foolish that she had felt the need to ask. Gauridans, today was not her day...
