While at attention...
DONT yell...WATER BREAAAKKK to the director.
DONT squeek as a bee or any kind of bug flys by, you will get starred at by the director o.o
Tubas dont bob up and down dancing...its not good..
DONT listen to your ipod then you wont hear nobody...anndd it will always end up in a big train wreck.
DONt tap dance!
when called to attention it goes...'BAND!' 'WHAT?' 'tenhut tenhut' 'PRIDE!'....
yeahhh dont answer as in...whaaaaaaaaaat!!
or..SHUUDDUUPPP!!
and if you feel queezy dont walk off the field to throw up...you will get in trouble. -.-

Usually, there's nothing major that happens, other than people being generally disrespectful.
But I always get away with not quite being at attention. Not like I always do it, but I have noticed that I'm immune to getting chewed out. O.o

Dont lock your knees up you will faint one of the ninth graders last year had their knees locked and fainted on the field at mass band. she had to get medical assistance and a new flute because she fell on it lol and dont ever ever ever stick somthing in someones tuba one of our tuba playas had some stupid drumer stick a paper ball in the tuba it sounded soo bad. it may be funny but when the paper ball came out it hit our band director in the head and we all got in trouble

Things not to do that my band has done...
1.If your running a lap and your pants fall down pull them up.. dont leave them down and continue to chase the person in front of you......... 2.Screaming and yelling that were all gona die when the lights are out and your marching in....
3.Doing a cartwheel with a saxaphone in your hand...
The people in my band have issues xD

well in my marching band, if you move while at attention...your punishment depends on you section leader...all the band director does is look at you and if you do it again then your name gets called out in front of the entire band...

What not to do:
Don't move at all - that includes-
1. sneezing
2.screaming
3.dancing
4.running away from insicts
5.scratching
6.singing
7playing your instrument
8.twerling your instrument like a baton
9. watching the male track team run pass the practice field
10. talking

One time last football season, our tuba player found his hat wedged as far as it could fit into the tuba.

This one time at a marching festival our Drum Majors called us to do a left hace and a senior thought he said go to attention so he shouted out the name of our school.

At our first comnpetition this season this one band acted like idiots whenever their school was called and a clarinet was like "no class!!!"

One time at a football game we had to wait for our sucky football team for like 18 minutes. Yeah and were nto supposed to cuss in uniform but one time at a game this non band loser said our band sucked so i almost chucked my pizza at him. He was just jealous that he's not in band.

i have a lot for what not to do while marching, but as for at attention i only have one that hasn't already been mentioned. Never, while at attention, stare off into space and zone out. you miss directions and end up with the rest of your section laughing at you while you wander around lost XD
