"Actually no..." Leo said. "I don't do much interrogating here. I have a trapdoor dungeon for emergencies though."

"Hey, does this place have a library? Mines in a little dismay, I still haven't cleaned up from the undead episode..."

Leo smirked to himself. "I'm glad you asked" he said, and led them through one of the doors. They were in a huge library. The top of it must have extended into the first floor. There were ladders for reaching books, two large fireplaces, tables, and desks that contained writing materials. Many of the books appeared old and many of them were covered with gold.
"I hate libraries that keep more than one of the same book. Believe it or not there isn't a duplicate here. Its very well organized of course, otherwise I would never find what I'm looking for."
Leo sighed deeply, with obvious affection for his books. "In the room across the way I have many flawless gems that I have collected through various methods over the years. Its a beauty to look at... but I consider this library to be my real treasure room."

Sydney looked around, awe struck. He'd probably never seen so many books in his life, and not mention there was not one the same! "Various methods, eh?" Sydney said, picking up a copy of "Saint Nerevar, Moon and Star" and flicking through it's pages.

shaon didn;t bother to look at the books. The bandits, the filthy morag tong she was with, never taught her to read. All she could distinguish were lands, she coudl read signs and maps and that was about it. sometimes she coudl pick out words in the fillings of a contract, but mostly it was a foreign language to her and she had to ask other people what it meant. she stared at the floor while her brethren awed at the old-smelling books and idly ran over spells in her head. that was a thing she could read well; symbols, but not words.

"Not much of a reader hmm?" Leo said, noticing Shaon's uneasy posture.

Sydney was wrapped up in a chapter on Nerevar's ring and didn't register what Leo said. "Hmm?" He said, looking up and around to see what the discussion was on.

"not really." she said idly. "it's boring to me." her lies were quick and easy, not all lies anyway. the things she had red: signs, were boring. seeing as she never actually read a book, there was truth to what she said.

"I suppose its no comparison to the hunt" Leo said. "Some of these books I can't read. They're written in a different tongue, or are just runes. I can't read all of that archaic stuff. I have a hand copied version of the book that Mehrunes Dagon wrote to Mankar Camoran. Just a bunch of scary looking runes." Leo said motioning to a shelf in a corner.
"Everything on that shelf is magically protected. If you take them off of the shelf, they can very well curse you."

Sydney was half-way through the motion of picking up one of the books on the magical shelves when Leo stated about the curse. Sydney stopped dead in his tracks, "Damn... I wanted to read that too..." He murmered, going back to "Saint Nerevar, Moon and Star."

"Read it if you will brother, just know that you are dabbling in Daedric affairs and that is usually dangerous." Leo said.

Shaon shrugged easily. "i was never very fond of curses." she said lightly. "i think i will leave the reading to you two." she smiled.
