What are you talking about? the game was cracked wide open three days after it was released on PC and a crack made for it to work perfectly on XP. Hell, it's so modded out from people tinkering with it that you never need a CD for it, no CD key and the weapons have been tweaked to an amazing game play. It doesn't do the Halo series justice, though; stick to getting the original game for your comp. Let's just say that the Banshee, fuel rod cannon, flame thrower and Rocket Warthog are much better than Halo 3 to play with!

Well, yeah!! Microsoft pissed off a lot of people by announcing Halo 2 for X Box only and generated half the revenue that they gould have. Hell, Halo 3 launch would have been insanely larger if Halo 2 had released on PC on Halo 2's launch day alone. Also, so many people loved the first (and, in my opinion, the best) Halo game so much that they cracked the game open and made Halo Custom Edition, a version of the game that didn't have the campaign but allowed you to place in completely redone maps and weapons. Hell, one guy found out that the cut scene for the beginning of the last mission, when Chief is flying in to the Pillar of Autumn that that is one large maps and made Pelicans and Covenant drop ships flyable! He even made a rail gun that only Master Chief can carry. For example, he placed it on the map, right next to the sniper rifle for comparison; it's twice as long, tall and thick, meaning that the scope had to be mounted on the side of the thing and zooms into x18, instead of the regular sniper scope limit of x12. Another guy made a map called "Huge a**", it's so far from base to base that, if duplicated in reality, would be seven miles. The guy is also a big Ghost in the Shell fan and put in the Touchgome tanks and the huge prototype that almost blew up half a city in the second episode in the whole series. Gaming on PC is soo much better than counsels... cool

Well, proof is always good to ask for. Say, I'm guessing that you've already seen the Rocket Warthog, right? What do you think?

Nope, the Rocket Warthog is exclusive to the first game on PC only. It's a black Warthog with one yellow pint-stripe and a turret that looks like the LAAG gun was torn off and a black with three barrels version of the Jack-Hammer rocket launcher put in its place. The thing fires three rockets before needing to be reloaded and they are exactly like the rockets from the shoulder-mounted ones do. It's a blast when you've got a large group of people and the other team flies by you when you're in the Rocket Warthog and you just flip theirs a full five rotations through the air and land it up-side down! rofl

HEHE!!! I've been called a cheater by tonnes of people on the first Halo because we can use the first Banshee on Blood Gulch and I figured out the weapons set up just right; I'd fly in toward them from a distance and drop a fuel rod cannon round ((they changed the name to banshee bomb but that name sucks...)) and then immediately drench the area where the round would fall down to. Let's just say that no one has survived yet! twisted

Yep!! The only thing I need to look out for is the LAAG on the Warthog. ((LAAG is the gun on the regular one and stands for Light Anti-Air Gun))
