"sorry about that its just weird to have people talking about vampires in this town" Rez said rather embarrassed at his mistake. "so what brings the captain of the vampiric army, a human and a..." he looks questioningly at Ami, he looks human but theres something not quite right about him though Rez thought his mind totally blank but hw was sure that he should know what race Ami is.

"What brings a human like yourself here?" Megumi asked in return, stepping away from Ami's back as soon as she felt the situation was safe. She'd make up with Ryoga later. This newly appeared human was now more important, because he was all human.
Though left in relative peace, humans were still vulnerable, especially when they ventured out on their own.

Rez looked at her and smiled sadly "i wish i was human but alas i have a few things that make me stand out" he takes off his cloak so they can see his wings clearly "i'm an Arch Angel, human except for my wings and small natural magic ability. But to answer your question im out for a walk its much quieter at night than it is in the day, theres also alot more fun things to do" he finished a broad smile appearing across his once sad features.

Ryoga leaned against the wall. "I'm here because my whole squad was killed by Renegades, unfortunately I didn't die along side them." He pulled out a ciggarette. "My only family died in front of my eyes." He looked down hiding his sadness from the others.

A low hiss escaped Ami's lips in response to Rez's unveiling of his wings. Ryoga and Megumi seemed unfazed, but Ami saw him for what he really was- a walking target, a danger to himself and those that associated with him.
"Put those away, you fool." He growled lowly, interupting Ryoga as he quickly scanned the area for anyone else who might have seen Rez's wings. "You realize what they do to your kind here? You're in true angel territory, idiot!" His hands tensed at his sides. "Continue to endanger my charge with your stupidity, and I will kill you myself." Ami said cooly, his features dangerously calm. It wasn't a threat; merely a statement.

Rez shrugged and threw his cloak back over himself "it's alright i've been here for about year and nobody important knows, everybody around at the moment has already seen my wings and none of them seem to care" he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. charge, charge, oh wait a minute thats why he seemed familiar he thought the realization of it dawning upon him "i knew, i knew what you were you must be a fallen one thats why you seemed familiar" he said a hint of pride in his voice at remembering that "and this young lady must be your charge then" he said looking at Megumi and smiling.

Scar overhearing a conversation heard someone talking about a dead squad... sneaking closer to get a better hearing of it Scar sleeked over to a position in the shadows staying out of sight of the group but within hearing range.

Lilith Atrum She followed along silently behind him as he walked, glancing around at the surroundings as they passed, her wings sending bright specks of light dancing along the surfaces they hit. She stopped when she realized he’d stopped walking and blinked slightly as she saw the door; she hadn’t lived in this town for very long, only about three or four months, and she hadn’t known this place was here. She nodded quietly as he spoke, reaching up to wipe at her mouth, where she could feel something warm around her lips as she noticed the faint taste of blood for the first time. She pulled her hand back and, sure enough, there was a little red smear where she’d wiped; she must have bitten her tongue when she’d fallen down. She looked back up at him after examining the smudge absent-mindedly for a moment, then asked, “Is he an elf, like you?” After she said it, she realized it was probably a silly question. However, it seemed out of place for there to be two elves both residing in the same angel settlement…not to mention unsafe.

Ryoga thought he heard footsteps but ignored them, thinking that it was just his imagination. He slowly pulled out his gun. "If you are going to endanger us, it would be best if you leave us alone." He said aming the rifle at the boy's foot.

"hey woah there Im not trying to get anyone in trouble or in danger or anything I was just curious" Rez said putting his hands up defensivly "I'm just here for i dunno a talk, anything i guess, its really rare to see people like you guys around here, but I'll go if you want" he said honestly taking a few steps back.

Scar injoying the conversation stayed where he was and smiled *this is getting interesting.... o man... need to sense...* "aaCHOO...crap" Knowing what he is up for Scar quickly pulled out one of his daggers from his cloak but stayed hidden in the shadows to use the darkness to his advantage.

Ryoga turned and fired a warning shot that hit the tree about an inch above the boy's head. "Come out and drop any weapons you are carrying." He ordered as he aimed lower to what he guessed was the guy's chest area.

"Guys, guys, whoa!" Megumi yelled as she held up her hands in a stop sign kinda form, unintentionally casting a freezing time spell on her surrounding. "Jeez, calm down a bit, will y'all?!" She turned in the direction Ryoga faced. "Could you come out, please? We outnumber you a great deal, so whatever your intentions are, they're probably futile. Oh, and gesundheid." Megumi said to the darkness.
"Oh crap." She muttered, as she realized what she had just done. She looked around again. "Ah well, best take advantage of things like this." Megumi walked up to everyone in sight and took away their weapons. She dared not to venture into the woods to seize the weapons of the unknown one however.
Megumi piled up all the weapons and sat on them. Then she undid her spell and repeated her call into the woods: "Come out please. We're unarmed, as you may see. And Gesundheid." She grinned sheepishly to Ami.

Ami returned the grin with rolling his eyes and giving a slight shake of his head, as if to say 'mortals'. Well, at least one good thing came out of this; he now knew the feel of Megumi's own brand of magick and what it was capable of.
Freezing a vampire, archangel, and human, and for the length of time she'd held it for, was no commonplace feat. Even more so impressive was that Megumi wasn't showing side effects from exerting so much energy.
Too much raw power and too little control could spell disaster. Ami knew now that it wasn't yet strong enough without direction to affect a high ranking angel like himself, but the question was: for how long?

sighing Scar walked out into the light holding his hands over his head... "i come in peace... and hopefully not peaces." walking slowly up to the group he is still cloaked to show who or what he was... from his voice and accent though you can tell easy he is not from around here. "sorry for eavesdropping... been having a vary boring day... what was that about a squad dieing?"
