DM_Melkhar I'm doing bits and pieces regarding guidebook work, but my world is nowhere near fully designed...so I can't really do a lot on it right now. sweatdrop nor is mine but i try to do what i can with what materials i already have in my world smile its mostly all in editing stages taking things out and placing things in other places and so forth, i feel like my guidebook will be VERY long considering all the necessary details.

That's tough Suma! I don't have writer's block myself. I just haven't felt up to writing. I mean, if someone was paying me to write, then I would make myself feel up to it but, nope! mrgreen

I have yet another project...
A friend of mine is working on a home-brew campaign setting for our Fourth Edition D&D game (since our group, being die-hard Forgotten Realms players, is largely unhappy with what they did to it for the new edition). He wants it to be a group effort, so everyone is getting a little something to do.
To me, Bob-san has bequeathed the creation of an Elven nation. I've been toying with some ideas for only three days and already the project has ballooned into creating the entire history of Elves on the continent of Ameryka. I'm working on a timeline right now and I might post for feedback at some point.
Berz.

I've been writing profiles and my chapter list so I can send it off to my writing course tutor.

Hey Berz, that elven nation thing sounds like it could be cool. Let us know more about it the more you progress if you would. wink
I'm glad it's worth it for you Suma! 3nodding
So Mel, you have a tutor? Nice! What kind of profiles have you been creating?

i am writing a guidebook for my fantasy worlds it will include all the characters i have and character bios, as well as basic world building guidebook of major things in the world. So far i have gotten the list of the characters done now just trying to expand on the major characters history mostly working in the realms of the peaceful and calm location within my world Pontandia and trying to start first with the major characters and locations then starting to get all into the complexity of the world.

Guidebook eh? It makes me think about that book made into movie about the guidebook to the galaxy. I've only seen the movie and I liked it. mrgreen
I realize that Mel but, I thought there were a few kinds of profiles. Right? Like profiles made for RPG only or, profiles that are mostly for short stories. You know? Maybe I'm just being silly here...

You know I am writing novels....so, yeah... 3nodding
I was funded for a writing course by a charity called The Prince's Trust. It had set modules, but it can be modified to suit the student. My tutor asks me to do certain things as modules instead of the standard ones. It's taken me several months to get most of the stuff he asked for together.

Right...
Really? So a charity is helping you out then? Imagine that... You know, it might just be me but what yer tutor is asking for sounds complex. It isn't as complex as I think, is it? neutral

I'm working on a book called Tranced. It's about a natural witch that goes to college and has to try and keep her secret from her roommate, but she slips up. It turns out her roommate is a witch as well and they team up to explore alternate demensions. The book is going to be the irst in a series. I think it's going to be pretty good. It's just fustrating since school keeps me from writing.

That sounds fairly unusual, I take it that she's not a stereotypical witch using animal & plant ingredients to make potions/spells? & is it akin to Sliders in terms of alternate dimensions? I'm somewhat intrigued...
