"Well Shade gets lonely sometimes while I'm on patrol, she good use a grooming. Then there's the dishes, not many though, I usaully eat at the palace. Then there's my general house, its really dusty. That's about it, groom Shade today, do dishes tommorrow, and then dust my house." Minron finally opened his house door and put away his keys in his pack. The house was pretty standard and poor at the same time. It only had one room, a living area, and a kitchen. In the kitchen was a backdoor to the Shade's stable. "Everywhere in the house is accessable, except my room, you aren't allowed in my room! Ok!?"

She took a step back, startled by the harshness of his voice and nodding. "I'll go groom Shade now and then be on my way if you wouldn't mind." Elizabeth hurried outside to gather the horse and pull her around the house to the stable.
In the darkness of the stable, Elizabeth found a large brush and began to run it over the horse's silky black fur.

Minron went into his room when he saw her head into the back. His room was not likethe house, it went underground below the house. This room was like a dungeon, skeletal remains were scattered on the floor. In the middle was his bed, fancy lined with dark fibers and gold trimmings. On the back wall were weapons, many weapons. From cross bows to halberds. He sat on his bed andstarted polishing his sword. "Such a nice street rat, a real credit to her kind." Minron maniacly laughed and it echoed off the walls.

A little while later, she stepped timidly inside the house again and called,
"Umm...Well! I've finished!" She looked around and added hastily, "Sir." She was afraid of going in further than the doorway. What's the matter with me? I'm never this timid with anybody! She sighed heavily and pushed a peice of hair out of her face, waiting for an answer.

Minron emerged from his room and stared at Elizabeth. "Already? You must be a horse charmer to get Shade to stay still that long, stay right there." Minron went back into his room and after few minutes he came back. "Here, take this as a bonus." Minron opened his hands to reveal a demonic loking dagger. The wher the hilt connected to the blade was a skull carved out of actaul bone. The dagger's blade was made of a natural black metal and the hilt was laced with a dark red fiber, almost like blood. "This dagger is a present for being such a good worker." Minron chuckled slightly and presented the dagger to Elizabeth.

She looked at the daggar nervously.
"Oh but I couldn't. I don't deserve a gift like this." Her eyes never came away from the demonic daggar, watching that it wouldn't spring to life and attack her, her nose crinkling at the bone skull.

"Oh, but its worth alot of money my dear, you could sell it for alot of money and use part of that money to pay off the rest of your punishment." The dagger glowed red for a second and went dull again. "The blade becons for you." He held the blade closer to Elizabeth and it glowed again.

Her heart pounded loudly as the blade glowed,
"I-I..Sir--I don't understand what would possess you to give this to me. I'm only a Street Rat." She took a step away from the daggar. "I would rather just work off my punishment.."

"But you're such a kind soul, you don't deserve to be a street rat. The blade wishes for you to wield it. Do you denie its wish?" The blade stood up in his hands and the eye sockets on the blade glew red. "Just keep it until tommorrow when you come back?"

black_strings_of_death ((thanxs BlackCat ^_^)) Alexandra watched as Elizabeth being taken away. She then looked at Kermy and the other kids. "Ok kids everyone inside." she said. "Kermy if you don't mind can you stay out so we can talk." she asked her. ((You're welcome^_^Sorry, I suddenly had a lot to do today.)) Kemry nodded solemnly, setting down Demitry and pointing for her to follow Seth. She was still worried about that cough, but she doubted anything serious would happen while the other children were with her. Bewildered Kemry sat down in the middle of the street and stared up at Alexandra. Ugh, I'm exhausted..."What just happened? Tell me everything." The images were still flashing through her mind: The dark guard, Seth terrified, Elizabeth riding away on the dark horse, Karl's shocked and angry face-- Ugh! What am I thinking? That's the last of my problems. Dropping her head into her hands, the package and papers discarded at her side Kemry groaned miserably.

Elizabeth's eyes grew wide as she reached out and took the daggar, tucking it inside her boot.
"Thank you" she bowed her head slightly and ran out the door.

"No, thank you." Minron raised and clenched his hand. "Thank you very much." Minron started laughing maniacly, but stopped when he realized his neighbor might complain. "That's a bad habit."
The dagger glowed within Elizabeth's boot and even spoke. "Ah, finally a life to connect to." The dagger's red glow grew and traveled around Elizabeth slowly. "Wait, maybe that's too early..." The glow halted and recceeded back to the dagger.

As Elizabeth was running, a young boy purposly ran into her, knocking her flat onto the ground.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" she rubbed her back where she had fell, not noticing as the boy ran away, that he clutched the demonic daggar in his hands. She mumbled as she stood up and brushed herself off and continued home, walking this time.

Demitry followed Seth to the building. Her throught hurt but she wasn't coughing anymore. "its as if my heart problem got worse" She muttered to herself.

((I act that way in real life kinda, when i get too serious I clench my hand and laugh evilly, its a really bad habit along with my random dancing and saying the word bloody...And talking in a british accent while reading...))
"Kill the boy and clense his soul Elizabeth. Strike him..." The dagger glowed again and tried to posses her hand from letting it go. "I thirst..."
