They should make a FFIV sequal. ...oh wait... they did !!! heart heart heart heart (that was only mentioned once in this thread and I am dissapointed)

While not necessarily a sequel, it'd be cool to see something for the wii like Wii Resort, like Final Fantasy: Golden Saucer Admission, where you just have all the GS games, and the really good ones from the other games, like Triple Triad, Tetra Master, BlitzBall, etc.

FF6 and FF8 should get a sequel I dont think the over rated FF7 shouldnt have gotten so much attention

As much as I would like continued gameplay, I think that the storyline is stable enough with a satisfying enough ending to not need a sequel when it comes to FFIX, and as far as I'm aware, it doesn't have a sequel.
I think it's probably better that FFVII did have sequels, since the way it ended was kind of like...weird >>;, but I'm not sure if it NEEDED sequels.
I think that FFVIII probably doesn't need a sequel either...
I'm kind of glad that FFX-2 did have a sequel (and I think in Japan that one had a sequel too), to have a chance of getting Tidus back, but I honestly wish he never had to leave in the FFX game to begin with.
The one that I think should have a sequel is Tactics. It just seems like the ending was so dissatisfying.

i think that ffx shouldn't have had a sequel. i thought it was a good ending and it was different cuz not everything has to be all "happily ever after", plus the second game made me annoyed at yuna. i liked her better in ffx.

I liked the way Yuna acted better in FFX too, and I also didn't like how you had to use the same three characters through the whole game in FFX-2, and how they were all female.
You see, I'm a girl...a straight girl, and I like it when I play games where I can play as attractive men...and I thought Tidus was attractive, and I liked his personality.
I'm not saying that FFX had to have a happy ending, and it probably still would have been a little sad since Auron turned out to be dead...and Jecht died too, but I would have preferred it if Tidus didn't have to go away, since I liked Tidus.
((Not that kind of like where one should think I'm in love with him. I'm more mature than that, but he was my favorite FFX character.))

ive only really played one sequal and thats x-ii! and although it keeps with the ff spirit ive gotta agree with frostys earlier comment its just too girly and to be honest a little nausiating at times! dissapointed really still finished it tho!lol

just read zeroes comment and totally agree! im a straight guy and like to see sexy manga girls but i dont wanna play dress up!! especially on ff!(unless weaponry) and they definately shud have had sum male characters to play!! stressed and defo shud make a sequal to viii!

I think IX, just to see what they'd do with it. Ah, yes, technically true... I wouldn't count that, though. It's never stated (or even truly implied) in-game, and the storylines, characters, and so on don't connect in any way. I don't consider it a prequel; they just happen to be connected. IX... I'd love to see a sequel, just because I love IX so so much, but I think it's actually sort of the worst one to make a sequel for. They got their fairytale ending; it'd just end up like a Disney sequel. The only even remotely loose ends I can think of are the black mages and genomes... but that's hardly enough. Disney sequels excluding Lion King II; I love that one... and the Aladdin sequels are pretty good.
