I'll probably be calling them back tomorrow.

I get why they do it; they're under pressure from the media industry to try to crack down on the P2P programs 'cause of piracy. The gaming is just a side effect. I'm thinking of getting a subscription to one of those programs like WTFast that work around the whole P2P system so they won't throttle me, but the d/c period for trial accounts on that is 20 minutes, so I can't accurately gauge if it helps or not. xd

D: And the media industry needs to find out ways to profit from giving free content, or realize that it's free publicity that they can take advantage of with merchandise. Either way, there'll always be pirating, and if they mess up the internet to prevent pirating, they'll be stepping on the people that don't do that. >< SERIOUS BIZNESS. >:l

I can't believe they actually lobbied Congress to pass a bill that bans you from the Net for 60 years for watching youtube vids. lol Silly media industry. There are still enough people out there who insist on buying stuff to 'support the artists' (read: give them maybe 1% of every sale) that you'll get your pockets stuffed either way.

That is ridiculous bullshit of the sort I could see riots breaking out over. Angry nerds everywhere would grab their torch and keyboard and lynch record company CEOs with nooses made out of USB cords.
