The demon paused as he took in the sight of Kalore. The elf was a vision but....He held back and stiffen as he was reminded by the fact that the elf was hiding his addiction behind his back. Looking him over with a cold look he raised a brow. "What?" He said by way of greeting.

Cold tone shocking him, Kalore was soon leaning against the car as he wasn't completely sure on how to answer that. What got Monty so upset? Kalore didn't know so he tried to brush it off as he took a few steps forward, the smile on his face shaky but there nonetheless. "Um... I just um... I just saw you while I was driving and I uh... I wanted to just say... um... hi." Hi? Really? He felt like some fool as he tried to ignore the women that were either glaring at him or gawking as Monty. His Monty. And his alone. Right? "I noticed t hat you weren't answering your phone... is it um... is it dead or off or something? I was... um... just wondering if we could get together again but... if you're busy..." Now he looked at the women, blinking and looking confused still.

Monty stared at Kalore. "My phone is fine. I just didn't feel like answering it." He looked to his right and left, finally noticing the women around him and then at Kalore. "As a matter of fact I am busy. As you can see, I'm surrounded by a few of my conquests. So sorry I don't have the time to get together with you. Perhaps another time when I'm in the mood yes?" He said, cooly with a icy expression. Yet not going to let Kalore say anything he turned around with the women around him and started back the sidewalk where he came from.

Eyes widening, Kalore took a step back as he simply watched him for a moment, not quite sure what was going on. Maybe Monty was on some mission or something? Kalore knew that that wasn't it but he would have rather have been ignorant and believe it then know that his boyfriend was just turning his back on him right then. What was going on? biting his lip again, he spoke as he tried to keep the shakiness out of his voice, "O... Okay... just um... just call me then..." His voice didn't crack but it almost gave out on him again as he watched him walk away, unable to turn his back as well and just go. What had he done? He now knew that he had done something but he didn't know what it was... maybe Joker would know? Or Gambler?

The demon ignored the elf. He also ignored that part of him that was growing attached to the elf. No, it was a mistake to open himself even a little bit to someone who was going to keep things from him. It was also a mistake to go to Eri's club. This wouldn't have happened. He would have stayed ignorant. Sometimes being ignorant was better than knowing things. Turning into a coffee shop he went to the back booth with all of the women in the area.
Gambler on the other hand had to go to work. It sucked because she was still in pain but Rave was working too so...Why be lazy without him? It was better to be lazy with someone than alone.

Kalore was trying hard not to get too upset about this. Maybe Monty was just having a bad day? He hoped that that wasn't it seeing as he had spent the first time of the day with Kalore.. but maybe that was it? He didn't know for sure as he was calling Gambler now, knowing that he would rather deal with her at the moment then deal with Joker and his hysterics. Maybe she would know what was going on... seeing as she seemed to know the man better than he apparently did.

Gambler blinked at her phone. Taking it up she answered it on the third ring, "Hello?" she greeted, wondering who was calling her at this time. No, she didn't look at the ID caller since she was seeing stars after working out for a bit and learned that her body couldn't do that yet. Of course she would work out personally with Rave but not actual workouts. Very odd indeed. "Did someone die? Who did it? I'll kill'em for you." She said into the mouth piece.

There was a look of surprise on the man's face as he heard Gambler's odd reply. "Um... no, Gambler... No one died that I know of." Then again, he didn't know of what happened to Lech, but he didn't even want to think about it. "It's me, Kalore. I just wanted to know if um... if you know anything about Monty that may have happened this morning. He..." Kalore bit his lip, not knowing what to say as he went into the home that Gambler had made for him. "He's just been... odd." Yes, odd. That was what he would call this... It was too painful to think of anything else.

Gambler blinked and frowned some. "Well...The only thing that happened is that we had went to Eri's club to thank him and they both got into that pissing contest between them. Eri said something that Monty didn't like but..." She didn't know that Kalore had been taking meds to prevent the dreams from getting to him so this was going to be something new to her. "Why? How is he acting odd?"

Eri's? Kalore frowned as he heard what the woman had said. What had they been doing there?! When he was asked how the man was acting weird, Kalore knew that what he had seen could probably tick someone off but... he didn't want Monty to get in trouble. He did want to know why it was that they were at his old boss' place, though. "He... He's just not answering calls and such..." Which wasn't a lie but it wasn't what was making him act so weird. Being surrounded by women, giving Kalore cold looks... he didn't understand why that had happened. "So... what um... Why were you guys at Eri's? If you don't mind me asking, of course..."

Gambler took a quick drink of water and then told Kalore about how they had encountered a dead, a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, superly duperly dead Lech and Monty had wanted to "thank" Eri for a job well done. "We assumed it correctly because we don't know anyone else who had the guts to break him down. So we went give him some flowers and then they both had a pissing contest with something about you calling Eri for more medicine, which I know your not taking anything because your the most normal out of everyone here, besides Rave and Eldin because they are normal too."
Taking a deep breath, she sipped some water and sighed. "Anyways, that's what happened and I was dragged out of the club without another word." She said, writing some things down. "If he's not answering his phone that's because he's most likely not used to having someone call him."

Body chilling, Kalore had to sit back against the counter as the bags were left, forgotten, in a pile by the door. “He… He did that?” He couldn’t believe the things that he was hearing. He figured that Eri would have done something, seeing as that’s how he was, but he hadn’t expected it to be to that extent. Eri actually had done something like that to him? “Monty… wanted to thank him…” Whispering that, he looked down again as he bit his lip harder, trying to understand what was being said before Gambler was saying that he couldn’t be taking medicine because he was normal. Kalore’s eyes closed at that as he shook his head once more but she wasn’t corrected.
“I saw Monty, though…” Kalore finally told her how he had seen Monty, telling her about how cold he had been. “I know, this is really girly and stupid but…” Still looking down, he almost made his lip bleed with how hard it was being bit. This was… this sucked. “Sorry Gambler… I’ll just… um… I’ll just figure it out…”

The boss froze in mid sentence with the pen still on the paper. "He was what?" Monty was with a flock of women and cold? "That makes no sense to me. What the hell?" She scowled. "No Kalore. Do you need help with him? At the very least getting some answers out of him?" She asked gently, not wanting to sound too much of an a**hole of a boss right now. Then again, if this was going to happen, she was going to send Monty away permenantly until they both cooled off. It was going to kill them but for now things were....Calm-ish.

Kalore shook his head, “He… He was with them, yes.” The man didn’t want to talk about this anymore as he continued, “I mean… I’m sure that it was nothing so I’ll figure this out.” His voice betrayed him though as he continued to babble for a moment before he caught himself, sighing softly. “He’s… He’s probably mad at me.” Now Kalore was beginning to realize why Monty had gotten so weird with him. “I’ll… I’ll try to talk with him again.” Sighing softly, he didn’t know what it was that he was going to do but he wanted to do something… something to make this work. HE couldn’t lose Monty… he just couldn’t lose him. Not to this.

Thinking on it, Gambler nodded. "If you need anything, let me or Rave know alright? Please?" She said softly, knowing that Kalore wasn't alright by his voice. Though she couldn't force him to do anything. Nothing she could do that would make Kalore even more distant from her.
Monty was walking down the street again only this time without the females. He dismissed them smoothly but he couldn't dismiss his emotions just as smoothly. Damnit. That elf made him feel and he didn't like it one bit. Not when it was a gate way to screwing up on jobs and getting killed. This was a mistake. A terrible mistake.
