However, when the ball was tossed to her, she grabbed onto it and held it tightly to her side. She couldn't let it go. Racing down the field, she started her journey to the Ravenclaw goals.

In her efforts to makeup for a poor start, Hannah misjudged the Bludger's path, and it slammed into her side. The willowy girl gasped as she felt ribs snap like dry twigs, and she nearly lost her grasp on her broomstick. She barely heard the chime signifying that Ravenclaw was already up one goal on them. Worse, she saw Rhys already was pursuing the Snitch, while Lionel was a bit behind him. Gritting her teeth, Hannah lined up another shot at the Ravenclaw Seeker.

Another Bludger caught Hannah, this time she felt it slam her in the back, and she was nearly blown from her mount. As she fought to hang on, she saw another Bludger travelling toward Lionel. Zeph wasn't able to stop it, and she knew she needed to try again. Grimly, she swooped around to try intercepting it.
As she was struck again, this time in her side, Hannah was blown from her broomstick, and as she blacked out, she hoped the school nurse was ready to catch her...
