"I'm so sorry"
Kikyo continued to cry.
"I'll never forgive myself."
Scarlett ran up to him and hugged him tight along with her mother.
"We need to talk."
She whispered in Nathaniel's ears. She needed to tell him what's going on with the Abyss.
"Mom still loves you, and holds you dear to her heart more than anything. She's been broken. But there's more to it. Whenever you get a chance, let me know. I missed you daddy."
She continued to whisper.
Emily looked up at him.
"I'm human, and we all make mistakes. But I'm more clumsy than most."

Nathan took on a serious look as Scarlett talked to him then he smiled at the last part and whispered back. "i missed you too, my little girl" then he held both his love and his daughter tightly as his body temp slowly rose and he knew he couldnt burn them. "shh. its ok love." he whispered gently in Kikyo's ear. "everything will be ok. im here now" he slowly stared to forget about what she had said and thats what he needed to do for now. then he started to remember why he had been gone for so long but now because of what had happened it wasnt the right time

Chris laughed softly then nodded. "So I've noticed. But you still are so beautiful." He said only his eyes were gray, he was re-living a memory.

"Come on daddy, I want to show you something."
Scarlet took Nathaniel's arm.
Kikyo tried to smile as she stood there and watched them leave.
When they finally got alone Scarlett looked at Nathaniel.
"Look, Abyss is here, and there's more to it. Mom was dying of heart break and he was using it to his advantage. And let's just say I made a deal that I regret, and will until I die. Abyss told me he wouldn't kill mom if I became his heir to the Abyss. And it was really pressuring cause mom was dying and he was going to finish it off if I didn't do anything. Mom doesn't know...yet. And I don't want to stress her out. Lots of stuff has happened since you left. I hope you have a good reason for leaving mom by herself."

 Takehitsu had finished working on his current part and decided it was time to walk around again. His personal home was finished so now it was a matter of contacting the residents of hell for a contract so he would have means of working on hopefully both sides.

In the cave he medatated concetrating on what would become of him if he couldn't control Zodiac. He sat there with the eyes rolled into the bac of his head. It would seem if somone hit him in the head he wouldn't know. About an hour of sitting there he finaly got up, he went out of the mountian and began to practice controlling his power. he held his hands infront of him and muttered 'Master of destruction, bringer of life, come forth and serve your master. I SUMMON THE SIN the water spirit.'
Not a second later after he called Sin she appeared out of the little spring, bowing and saying, "Why have you called me Master Negi."
He gave a guesture to let her rise and he said, "i need your help to perform the spirit shot that was i can master it and become one step closer to summoning Zodiac. Now will you lend me your power." She nodded and, he began to absorb her energy. As it came together a ball of energy began to slowly form.

Emily looked at herself in confusion.
"Um...okay? Are you sure that the Volcano hasn't gotten to you?"

Chris's eyes fazed back then he shook his head a bit then rubbed it. "Sorry... I just... never mind..." He said then sighed softly.

Nathan cringed to hear this but he stashed away his painful emotions once again. "though it pains me to know this im proud that you did what you had to do though such a responsibility should have never fallen to you. all of this is my fault for not being here. if i had been here none of this would have happened." He sat down and put his hands to his temples to think. "is there anyway to break the deal. what if Abyss was killed. there has to be something" his voice was slightly cracked and unsteady.
((i have to come up with something else other than what i had. it wasnt good enough))

Emily looked at him confused.
"Oh...okay?"
"I don't know if it can be broken. He spared Mom's life in exchange for mine for his. To keep him alive once he dies. But don't worry about that right now. Worry about mom more than anything. Please. She needs you more than me and Aiden do. Mom's been attacked by another group of people trying to assissinate her, and from what she was saying this wasn't the first time. Let's just say...alot has happened around here dad."

Abyss arrived back from earth, a smile on his face. "Well I believe he won't be troubling me anymore... at least for a while....". Still using Nathan's face to create the horrible smile that stretched from ear to ear. "I always wanted a twin.... You look happy with your daughter, even though she has failed to tell you both the truth" Abyss said as he gracefully walked towards them.
((Abyss and Lance's fight will appear as a flashback later on))

Nathan rose his head and his body temperature dropped and the air seemed to become thin, yet heavy as it froze and Abyss entered the room
