Well, yeah it is a conformist factory AND a wretched hive of scum and villany (eh? eh? lol) but where else can I get a free place to post my music?

I'm a big fan of this one. http://www.downstairsapartment.com/index.php?num=6&action=jump

I've got another announcement...I am working on designs for an 'Electric Triangle'...Anybody have any suggestions? I'm looking at making a rig so that when you hit the triangle, it vibrates a milameter about a hookup that would run into an effects petal and an amplifier. This way when we hit the triangle it would reverb, fade, scream and do other fun stuff.

And here I was thinking that electric instruments were strictly magical and functioned in ways that I could never hope to understand.

Well, I was partially right.

They do function in ways that I could never hope to understand.

Sounds interesting though, Kozo. Never heard of an 'electric triangle.' Could make you a lot of money if you patent it and market it.

I have nothing to say and I am saying it.

J'ai encore rien a dire en francais.

Mmhm. I've never been in a /real/ band, but considering my musical "talent" is limited and I can't sing, that's really not too far fetched.

Although. I'm usually friends with people in bands. And then they coerce me into lugging heavy things around. Or driving their stuff around. Or setting up random techie stuff. D< I swear, I know the backstage of the local playhouse better than most musicians who play there.

But I got an "It's okay. I'm with the band!" tee out of it. Whoot!

LOL Somehow I don't think an electric triangle would sell exceptionally well. sweatdrop

Noose, that is an awesome T-shirt! I would totally hire you as a roady! LOL Now if only I had a band that was going somewhere... xp
PostPosted: Tue Jul 04, 2006 3:38 pm

My band's going to hell. Want it?

I was once a roady. But then the band found out and got a restraining order requiring me to be a minimum of two countries away from them.

But yeah, they DO do the thing with the peanut butter.

Aw, I want habit to by my roady. She can reach things, scare people, and she owns a TRUCK. >D

I mean.

She's my legitimate friend and I have no secret agenda.

>.>

Seinen Franzosischen sprachen und worten tut mir leid.

Yeah, I'm kind rusty with the German.

Yay, German pwnz yer French.

But english pwnz german by being 5 times better than german, and since english is 80% german and 20% french, and that german can not pwn german, french pwnz german by being 25% better. Logic? I think not. True? I think Oui.

Yeah, it certainly IS fun not having any secret agendas. Really, I'm all about honesty. I'm a living version of an open book, without the papercuts. Yep, nothing to hide. Now, please look away or ingore the fact that I'm kicking back in with my feet an famished foreign child into what seems like a Nike sweatshop.

I feel like we should make a non-english roleplay, just for the heck of being weird. Or you know, post in one of those new roleplays - hey, look, that's mine, completely devoid of posts that weren't written by me! And Becoming, which I find really cool and whose plot is much less painful to remember than mine. >.>

I hate that yours is better, Shazz! <3

The only thing I can say in German: wo mein hut ist? question

Which would be useful in Germany, if I lost my hat.

Also, I have an accent. Well, I've been told I have an accent. But just a little one. ninja

Same with you, Shazz. No secret agenda. (Psst, keep those video game loans and discounted university books coming and I'll keep reaching things, scaring people (O_o?) and drivin' you and your massive instrument collection places.)

LOL I know enough french to get by...but it would take a lot of thinking and arm waving... lol

Yeah I REALLY cannot vouch for the grammar in that sentence...but as my french proffesser said, "Mike, you seem to be able to comunicate in French. You can't speak it, but you can acceptably BS your way though it." Coming from a former resident of Paris, I suppose it's a compliment...but I'm not sure.

Gadz, I think I hate photoshop now..... is their anything better out there? preferably something with reasonably light piracy protection? xp

I have an idea.... a wonderful aweful idea...lol ^_^ damn I love the grinch! Seriously though, I am bored as hell. Here's what I propose: I have a PDF copy of both the outdated World of Darkness, and Vampire:The Masquerade, core rulebooks. Both are designed to be used in tandem with one another. If somebody can find a way for me to get a copy of these to everybody then we can get a game of WoD going. I'm sure that somebody (possible me even!) could come up with an idea for a game. If vampires and such aren't your thing then I also have a PDF for a game called Witchcraft. It is similar in gameplay and genre to the Wod games though, it just has more rules for magic and such. Keep in mind though, that I have never used either of the 2 systems before. Nobody in Yarrow realy plays RPG's and I don't have the facilities to print off that many pages. Many who normally would play are put off by the lack of hard-copy.

Is there anyway I can distribute these PDF's without giving out or taking E-mail addresses? I know a lot of people would not be comfortable with this method...

Well, either that or we can just play D&D d20 cuz EVERYBODY already knows how to play...and if not, it's easy to learn.

I think the only way to distribute a PDF would be to send it to someone via an Instant Messenger program (AIM, YIM, Trillian, etc). Then again, not everyone has a program, and in order to distribute the PDF in such a fashion, you'd need all of those programs (or just Trillian).

However, I must admit that I'd prefer the simplicity of basic D20, or perhaps get as advanced as NWN got, just to spice it up a bit. After all, you could do a post, find out the die results, and then edit your post to fit the die results, doing a whole roleplay post based around the results of your rolls.

That way, we could pretty much eliminate godmoding and autohitting, stuff like that.

And, it may make it interesting, what with the chance characters might die, if not get severely injured.

At this point, when a character dies... it surprises me if they don't come back.
