Leo crewed on a left over breadstick "you really want to talk about them? I kinda wanted to know more about you."

She waved off his comment. "Booring! You want to know about me, go to the Arkham or Metropolis grand libraries and pull up the old media archives. Bang. That's me. Now why are you so feverently dodging the subject, are you trying to be rude on purpose or are you afraid I'm going to poison you?"

SWAT set her cards down and drew a new hand.
Nightmare set three of his cards down.
Leo shook his head "no no no no no, I just didn't think you'd find them interesting but, one of them was a highschool sweetheart who started dating to to get back at her ex, she only stuck around because I won a scholarship and thought that I'd just become rich."

"Oh, and I thought Wonder Woman was a b***h." She looked at the young man sympathetically. Thinking for a moment she shook her head. "Nope, she's still a b***h compared to that one."

Helena's eye twitched along with her trigger finger "no, I don't swing that way."
*looks back* didn't you have a treesome with Hal Jordon and Lady Blackhawk? *gets trankdart shot into neck* naptime...zzzzzzz
Question arched an eyebrow.
Helena felt her cheek redden as she holstered her crossbow "that was a one time thing."
SWAT shook her head and set down a card.
Leo nodded "after she nearly drained my bank account, the police tried to arrest for forging credit cards, she crashed my car and died on impact."

Isabella chuckled. "Sure you don't toothpick." She started to focus on the game until she heard the juicy bit of gossip. Snickering, she played her turn and gave a simple comment. "Knew it."
"Jesus Leo, why the hell aren't you a villain? I'm sure the Spartan could help in that department."

Nightmare drew a new hand "I can honestly say that Lady Blackhawk has a shorter skirt than your's Isabella." [x]Leo shrugged "I kinda always wanted to be a hero, but I like to teach." Leonidas' voice spoke out but stayed invisible "I would not have my vessel's soul commit foul deeds under my command, I would see him to Tartarus first."

She looked at the picture and grinned. "You've not seen my other outfits."
Ivy shook her head looking into her glass of water. "Heroes are useless. They base their entire validation of existence on the bane of theirs. Villains don't need heroes. We can function well with or without them. A large percent of the time we exist because of heroes. Look at the Joker, and Harvey. Most of the evil in the world comes from people's innate need to do good in order to escape their demons. What good would Batman be, without me to chase around and lock up?" She took a sip of water and smirked. "I thought I told you to speak when you're spoken to Spartan? Do you want to come out for a bite to eat?"

Nightmare smirked "ha, I win." he reached across to pull the chips toward him.
Leonidas voice growled "merely to speak my two drachmas, dryad."
Leo groaned "I liked the idea to help people, I dabbled in criminology and toyed with the idea of being a cop but I doubted myself plus I was... scared."

Tom overheard from an adjacent table where he and Delilah were enjoying dinner and tapped Ivy on the shoulder. "Actually, the evil in the world finds its source with a flaw in all of life that makes it vulnerable to tampering by the source. Think of it as a failsafe. Also, if Batman didn't have you to chase around and lock up he'd be able to focus on the normal criminals. In a sense, you're the reason there's still crime in Gotham. Of course not really you, Dr. Isley, as you're not causing trouble anymore, but in a broader sense. Villains in general."

She grinned. "Apparently you do Toothpick because I was talking to the kid about my apparel sweetheart." She through her cards down only half interested in the game. "What do you all say we spice things up for the next round?"
She smiled and shook her head. She'd have to go look up dryads to see if she even resembled one.
She leaned back and looked down at her plate, a sad smile on her face. "I want to help the world, and yet I'm labeled a psychotic murderer." She looked at Leo.
Only Metropolis had these type of nuts. Rather than hold a conversation with him she just nodded and smiled. If he interrupted their intimate conversation again, she'd give him something to debate about... and his little date.
"Enough of this sad talk. Tell me about the young girls are Metropolis U that have your eye."

SWAT clicked her radio "I'm on duty." Grabbing her assult rifle she set her cards down and marched out of the chat.
Huntress folded her arms and put her dried mask back "what?"
Nightmare smirked "what'd you have in mind?"
Leo nodded "I can understand that" he shook his head "right now the only woman I have 'eyes' for is... you."

The pirate smirked. "Strip poker. You might be a toothpick, but I'm sure with a face like yours you have a nice lot to gander at."
She looked at Nightmare. "Now you could prove problematic."
Completely oblivious to the situation Pamela laughed heartily, drinking some more water. "Come, now don't pull my leg, if you need my help with something you don't have to butter me up. I'll help you Leo...especially if it means getting rid of your uptight friend."
