Blinking some, the woman looked confused before she quickly was shaking her head, hands up. "No no no!" Shaking her head again, Dusk was laughing before Kyoshi finally came in. Giving her a look, Rave looked confused before the other was moving so that she could lean over, kissing Kyoshi gently. "It wasn't him, so stop worrying. Just some elf crap." She winked at the others, shaking her head some. It was funny how they automatically assumed that Kyoshi had done something stupid... but then again.. it wasn't that hard to believe that. Snickering some at the idea, she hugged him gently, looking over at the others. "You guys okay?"

Chuckling softly, Dusk shook her head. "It's not something as fun as zombies.... it's just politics." Rave was curious now, raising a brow at the other. "What's wrong?" Smirking some, he had a feeling that he knew what it was that was going on. Dusk blinked cutely, thinking about the fact that the man probably enjoyed politics... "Just elvish crap. The others keep bothering me about it." Another sigh and she shook her head once more while Rave was speaking to her softly. "Talon speak to you?" She nodded. "I'm not going... just saying." At least, she didn't want to...

Groaning, the woman looked away, making a face. "Going back to freaking Ellwood. it's not happening." Rave rolled his eyes before he was standing up, getting himself some water once again as he shook his head. "Dusk.... the councilmen can only rule for so long... Royal blood is needed at least a small bit." He shook his head once more as Dusk made a face. "I'm not ruling... at all..." Rave rolled his eyes once more. "Like hell you're not... Even if it's from a distance, Dusk, someone needs to do it." "Why don't you?!" He simply smirked, the look quite becoming of him in more than one way. "I'm not a pure blood royal... You are."

Rave was surprised, but he said nothing as he soon was watching him place Dusk on the chair. Dusk on the other hand had wide eyes and was looking in pure shock. "Wait... WHAT?!" Eyes widening, she soon stood up and was beside Kyoshi, not even noticing Gambler or Rave. "But... Kyoshi... You do know what that would mean, right?" She frowned, hand placed on his arm. "You... You know that that would mean that I would end up staying in Ellwood... for a long, long, long time..."

Confusion still obvious in her features, Dusk was shaking her head before she parted from the kiss, her fingertips resting on his chest. "Kyoshi... But I don't want to go back. I like it here... I like the connections, I like being able to be with you, I like being able to piss off Rave," She got a glare during that, but Dusk ignored it as she continued, "I mean... if they'd let me run things my way then that would be fine and all, but they're not gonna allow it. I don't know why, but they just don't tend to, you know?" No... people would get angry and they would have an uprising... no need for that.

Biting her lip once more, Dusk was gently touching the other’s arms as she nodded, “I… I know but…” But there was no way that they were going to allow Kyoshi there and she wanted him there. Resting her forehead against his chest, she was looking down as Rave slowly took Gambler’s arm, kissing her forehead. “Why don’t we go out, hm?” He knew that the two probably would need to talk this through, seeing as Dusk had a bad habit about being strong in front of other people and just making a choice that she didn’t want to appease those that she cared for. With Kyoshi… she could think clearer when it was just one person.

Rave nodded as they soon were in the garden of his own home, sitting down on one of the benches as he smiled softly. No one was around, which was strange, but given the time of night it really wasn’t too odd. Shaking his head some at the thought of the boy being up and about, he soon was facing the woman some, stroking her hair softly. “is this a good enough place or would you prefer that I take you somewhere else, Gambler?” Rave would take the woman anywhere that she wanted to go, and if that place wasn’t here then so be it. It wouldn’t kill him.

Biting her lip, Dusk soon was hugging Kyoshi closely as she shook her head. “I can’t do it, Kyo… I’ve been away from you too many times… I don’t want to do that again.” But she knew that someone needed to lead the elves and if it wasn’t her and it wasn’t Rave then she wasn’t completely sure that it would be done well. Now that the Marcessa name wasn’t completely ruined, thanks to Kalore and his father, she was sure that his father would do well but… “I know that I need to, though… but I can’t leave you again…” No, she couldn’t leave him again. She just couldn’t do it.

Rave nodded before he smiled softly, bringing the other close to him. "I'm glad." He loved this place... it was odd, seeing as most of the elves didn't go back to their homes, but Rave had worked hard on this one place. Kalore rarely went back to his family's home, Dusk avoided it like the plague, Talon didn't know where it was, and neither did Eldin. But Rave had built the place and he knew exactly where it was, exactly how to get there, and exactly why he loved it. Being able to share it with Gambler... That just made it even better for the man.

Blinking some more, rapidly, the woman soon was latched onto him as she nodded; still unsure but... "I don't want to be gone long, then.... I'll go... but... you can come see me whenever you wish." For now, though.... Dusk didn't want to ask Kyoshi to be invisible, but for now it would be the best thing. "Don't be seen... at all... but I'll find a way to change the law... I mean... I don't want to be gone from you, but I don't want you to have to hide because of our laws that were placed... centuries ago." Things had changed since then but the laws didn't seem to care. No, those laws tore a lot of people apart, but still no one changed them. Maybe Dusk could, but she knew just how hard it would be to get that done.
