Tyran nodded, continuing to hold her as he brought them both to the Nocturne, appearing infront of Melrin's door, "This is most likely where he would be..."

Obsidian stared at her a mooment, "I was just wondering...what your deal was." She sighed finally, "I knew this one guy, he was always grumpy, kind of like you...turned out he watched his kids and his wife slaughtered but he got out alive...so he kinda blamed himself for it." She was looking away now, looking unhappy. She shook it off, though, "I'm sure you're story is equally interesting!"

Aster frowned, "Then we better not educate him." A thought formed in his head but he shook it away, it was far to early for that, though it was the only garanteed protection against something like this again that he knew of, "Perhaps we should report to Dorien, now?" He suggested.

She bristled for only a moment at the pixie comment but cooled, "I find it pisses me off for people to talk about me like I'm not in the room. It'd be better to ask you, since you're here." She shrugged.

Lina closed her eyes slightly before walking beside Obsidian, "She has never forgiven me for our mother's death. I killed her under the influence of a drug and my own anger right infront of her eyes."

Kari slowly lifted her hand, touching the barrier and smiling as it recognized her as Dorien, I only wish to take what is mine. she said, mimicing his inner voice, You can keep your precious Lotus clan. All I want is my vessel. her eyes gleamed as it made a way for her, slowly...as if it was unsure about it.

Kanna was silent for amoment before saying, "He allowed us to see himself weakened, that is something he has never done. I'm sure that he won't be able to find him until he is at full strength again."
At once. Pride replied, walking through the path the barrier made before opening the door and allowing his snakes to enter it first.

Lina looked rather uncomfortable after that, "Yes, a drug. A long time ago, me and Troden were...together. It was a passionate relationship in my eyes and only a way to step up in his. He used me to kill my mother, the only being who really was in his way seeing as she was by far more powerful magically than him. He gave me the potion and only told me that it would help in our cause of creating the Rajens...a group that was supposed to aid fellow vampires in need and not what it is today. I took like a fool and in the end I killed my mother in my rage when she tried to convince me that Troden was an evil man. Malen was there through the fight." Lina sighed before saying, "The potion faded just as my mother died."

Obsidian stared at Malen now, "And you're more mad at her? Why, may I ask aren't you pissed at Troden. I wasn't even there and I'm already more pissed at Troden than I initially was!" She rubbed her temples, "I see this in humans too....they get super mad at the wrong person."

Malen glared at Obsidian before tring once more to get up, "Look, she was already betraying the family with even going near a Sulla and she was idiotic enough to love one. Troden isn't my family. She is. Besides, I want him to die just as much as I want Lina to suffer. If I see him, he'll get pumped full of silver just as she will die by my hands."

Obsidian gave a humorless laugh, "Stupid though it may have been, don't you think Lina suffers enough? Yeah, you were there, but she's the one who did the deed. You say she's supposed to be the calm and collected one? You think she rejoices over this? You're wasting your energy by being angry at her, both of you share a hate for Troden, he'd be a dead man walking of you concentrated on him. Family is all we're given in this world or any other world...And we cannot control who we love. Can you really blame a puppet for what a puppeteer makes it do?"

"Lina isn't even close to done with the suffering I want her to have," Malen said, her voice filled with malice, "I don't care if she was a puppet or if she is my family. I have all the family I need in my guns and my lighter. Anything else is a pain in the a**." she would have said more until she saw an army of pale blue snakes slithering into the room, "What the..."
Lina looked down and immediately summoned her weapons, "Obsidian, can you untie her binds? I'll keep these things out of here until then."

Obsidian rolled her eyes, "How dull..." She sighed, "You don't even get it. You can't possibly make her suffer worse than she already is, Malen. That's the point. You kill her, okay...then what? Objects can't be your family, they aren't living. Family is supposed to be a pain in the a**, but it's also a foundation." She said this then gestured. The bindings undid themselves, "You don't understand anything." She sniffed. She then turned on the snakes, "Don't bother, Lina, I'm hungry." With that, her arm turned black and her hand turned into a fanged mouth. It lashed out and ate the snakes as they came in.
